Google Mapview no longer works in Firefox

Google Maps Satellite view works, but mapview does not work. I don't have this problem with Internet Explorer. If I click on mapview in Firefox, it just says: "loading", but nothing happens. I tried the troubleshooting information in Google, but it does not solve the problem.

"Firefox has detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will never end."

Can I do to solve this problem? Thank you.

This may indicate a problem with the cookies that NYTimes has stored in Firefox. We're may be damaged or outdated information could be mixed with current information.

I suggest to delete your cookies for the site. If you can view any page on the site, try one of these:

    • ALT + t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".

  • Flash no longer works with Firefox 13

so I have Firefox 13.0.1 and Flash Player upgrade to 11.3 and flash no longer works. I tried many things, but ultimately downgraded flas player for 11.2. Still no joy. The only way I can get Flash to work is if I start Firefox in safe mode with disabled modules. If I manually disable the modules from inside Firefox is still does not work, so I guess that's not quite the same as disabling safe mode. I have not installed RealPlayer. I tried to create a new profile, but still no joy. Other ideas for me to try please?

If you install Flash of http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe still work?

Try resetting Firefox Firefox Refresh - reset the parameters and modules

Also, try turning off hardware acceleration, disable hardware acceleration

  • Compactheader add-on no longer works with Firefox 39?

In my view the header that appears above the body of the email must be eliminated. That is possible because the Compactheader add-on is no longer compatible with Firefox 39. This header is redundant and just takes place of the screen anyway.

Then you do not install it in Thunderbird.

Download it to your computer where you can find it somewhere. Then, in Thunderbird, go to the page of add ons and click on the gear icon in the toolbar and select install from file.

  • Java suddenly no longer works on Firefox, even though it says that it is enabled

Just today, I noticed that Javascript and everything about Java does not work on Firefox. I looked away, uninstalled JavaFX, reinstalled Java 3 times, tried everything, but no matter what, Java will not work, and Firefox will report that the Applet works well.

I am running the latest version of Firefox, as well as Java SE7 U17, which is the latest version of Java. Is it possible to fix this? In addition, Java also stopped working on my computer itself, but it is more noticeable on Firefox where I can't use drop-down menus or videos that require Javascript (it either makes me "Plugin/file not found" or it will not load). I still can't view YouTube videos.

    Do not take into account.

Problem resolved itself after a day of waiting and reinstall Java while restarting the computer inbetween uninstalling and reinstalling.

  • The BBC iPlayer no longer works on Firefox despite works perfectly on IE. I uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player, but it is no different.

The window of the iPlayer is, but the circle of "loading" then go round and round and round forever. I am trying to listen to the radio, not to watch television. IE no difficulty - I hate just to use it.

I went to two different pages - Desert Island Discs on Radio 4 and one of history those. I don't have to listen, but to listen again. I just clicked on the "listen" icon and a new window comes up with the information at the top and the bar that shows the program playing never appeared - as I said, the continuous circle just go round and round for ever. I thought I was pretty clear in my original view that everything worked perfectly fine on IE but I want it to work on Firefox, so I'm not sure what your comments about Ubuntu have to do with what whatsoever.

As I've said, for reasons unknown it's suddenly started working.

  • Google Maps is no longer working in Firefox?

I use FF 38.0.5 and just went to Google Maps and got this error message:

"Your browser must be updated to use Google Maps"

I'm blocking the features of Google Maps, so why I get this error message?

Hmm, it's quite different under Windows. If all goes well a Mac user can advise on the question whether this combination should work on Google Maps.

In the meantime, some general tips:

When you have a problem with a particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clear your Firefox cache and delete your cookies for the site.

    (1) delete the Cache of Firefox

See the steps described in this article: How to clear the cache of Firefox

Note: If you have a large hard drive, this process may take a few minutes.

    (2) remove the cookies from the site (waiting for work save first). While you watch a page somewhere on google.com, try either:

    • Right-click/Ctrl + click on the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.
    • Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".

In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.

Then try to reload the page. Who help me?
