GPS Bluetooth support

I have a Bluetooth GPS receiver I coupled to my 7 slate with no problems.

My Navionics marine navigation app can not find the GPS source and asks me to activate settings of-> location-> use GPS satellites, unfortunately this option does not exist.
Note: On my other android (without internal GPS), this option exists and allows the program to use the Bluetooth.

In addition, Google maps has this same problem - she cannot use Bluetooth GPS advertising what it also tells me to turn on the GPS satellites when I ask improve accuracy.

Without this ability, one of the main applications for the purchase of 7 Slate has been reduced to nothing.

Is there a solution?

Found a solution: do a fictitious supplier. This involves the following

(1) install the app store game Bluetooth GPS
(2) in the Middle-> Developer options, turn on allow mock locations

(3) pair up your bluetooth GPS receiver

(4) start the Bluetooth GPS app and check the option enable the provider GPS scoff, and then use the Connect button to connect the Bluetooth receiver

Start your navigation application, it should work now

  • Cannot connect Centro to external GPS bluetooth receiver

I have the Holux GPSlim 240 bluetooth gps receiver. I can successfully pair my Centro to the receiver in the "Trusted Devices" section by entering 0000 as the password. However, once connected, it is absolutely impossible to actually connect. When I press the menu button and select 'connect' I get the message: "the selected device is not supported in this menu. Please start the connection between the Holux GPSlim 240. »

But there is no way to establish a connection between the GPSlim 240, because there no buttons whatsoever, with the exception of an on/off switch. In addition, when you select "Details" of the peripheral screen on my Centro, it shows the TYPE for the GPSlim 240 as 'unknown '.

Please, how can I solve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you...

It would be I think you need to load the driver for BT in a mapping program to establish a successful connection.

I just added my Delorme Earthmate to my Centro easily, but without a program of mapping on my phone, I can't open a connection.

  • Satellite L500-1KK - Bluetooth support A2DP and EDR?

    Hello

I have a portable satellite L500-1KK 2.5 years. I want to buy a D80 creative wireless Bluetooth speakers. I can't find the page for more specs on the Toshiba site (Gulf). • Tablet/8 w Windows 8.1 - aptX Bluetooth support?

    Hi all

i just received my Tablet8 with Windows 8.1 and I really like it.

I would also like to use as my wireless music playback device, but I can't find any useful information about the Codecs supported Bluetooth.

Is built in Boradcom Bluetooth adapter support aptX? or it's just a piece of software that brings the aptX on Windows 8.1 support?

A person of Lenovo can answer this?

    Thank you and best regrads

Verified the WLAN / BT chip on the manufacturer's website... It's an ordinary BT4 + EDR chipset. Nothing special in what concerns the audio design. While she makes at least the standard A2DP (SBC). Theoretically if BT4 is paired with BT4 bandwidth can be high enough to reach ~ 320 Kbps in stereo with A2DP (SBC). I tried the tablet + a BT4 receiver to my speakers. It is just, but not comparable to the connection or DLNA. aptX would be nice, but guess I'll stick to DLNA and wired connection. Good bye

  • Bluetooth support service does not start on VISTA

When I go into the Services Panel it shows of Support Bluetooth Service is set to automatic but not started. When I try to start this service, it gives me error: 1053 indicating that the service has failed within a reasonable time. I have a MX5500 Revolution keyboard and mouse combo that works very well. But when I try to put the mini hub so he could accept the other BT devices, it hangs, freezes or crashes. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software several times with no luck. I know that the reason that this happens, it's the BT support service does not start. Any help is appreciated.

  • HP Jet 7 - GPS Bluetooth device?

I have an old Holux M-1000 I try pair-to-use with my 7 stream.

Pairs of unit very well, but then disconnects.  If I understand correctly, this is a 'new' of Windows 8 x / 10 x.  And until some programs wakes location services, you cannot connect.  Anyway, there is a blog entry to this on the subject:

    http://www.nicknoltewx.com/blog/2013/03/15/GPS-devices-in-Windows-8-apps/

and a 'pilot' of sorts found (linked by above blog):

    http://www.turboirc.com/gps7/

Allegedly, he makes the GPS device available through some internal changes.  And it is supposed to work with Win 8.1.

The blog is one notes, however, that this may not work with devices Atom - whose stream 7A.

Someone has any ideas here what to do - or other success?  It would be nice to resurrect this older with steam 7 GPS device, as the S7 has no internal GPS.

Well - I guess that 57th time was the charm.  I played with him for at least 3 hours yesterday trying to get it to connect.

Tried this morning - no luck.

Now, sit down, AFTER this announcement (don't you know), and now he pairs and connects and works just peachy.  Use it with 2 card programs and it made me 'identified '.

  • configuration settings (4 G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS...)

    Hello

someone knows how to easily change the settings of the GPS, Bluetooth, 4 G,... thanks to a profile or something?

I went recently to Android to iOS, but I had on Android, an app that had these built-in parameters: I just had to click on the preset 'car' and my GPS, Bluetooth and 4G have been activated my wifi is disabled automatically.

If I clicked on the 'home' the phone automatically activated my WiFi profile and turned off the Bluetooth, 4G and GPS...

does anyone have an idea to achieve this?

    Thank you

    Iwein

There should be no need to do so. Why do you think it's necessary? Leave things like bluetooth and WiFi turned on does not consume a significant amount of energy. There is no need to turn off LTE, because all what he would do would be to slow down your cellular data connection. If you are connected to WiFi, WiFi will be used instead of cellular data. The WiFi radio turn off when the phone is in standby mode and not connected to power.
