Graph XY - Autoscale + fixed margins
Hello
Total newb here. I am currently draw a circle on a XY graph where the RADIUS can be changed, so I have the x and the y axis set to "Auto scale". However, the autoscale makes the edge of the circle go right up against the edge of the high, low, right and left of the plot area limits. I would like to add a 'margin', mainly for aesthetic purposes, so there is a certain fixed amount of space between the traced circle and the limits of the area of the plot. Hope it makes sense. I enclose the photos that I created with autoscale OFF to try to help illustrate what I'm after here. Any help or advice are appreciated.
Kind regards
Doug
Hello Doug,
You should be able to add a space of memory buffer by activating the option "Loose Fit" in the >>(x,y) right click menu of the scale. This will be round the autoscale to multiples of the scale factors 'Multiplier' their value set in the property window of the scale.
Of course, you will still need to make an informed decision about a multiple what good would be, and it depends on the range of sizes you will need to display. If you need to go more granular or dynamic that allows (for example, always scaling the chart in 1,05 x the radius of the circle), then Yes, you will need to use the nodes property of graphic range.
Kind regards

How to plot a graph with no fixed time interval?
Hello
I know that this question is a bit silly... but still, I would like to know how to find...
If the signal is generated randomly by time, how it chart in the chart since its interval must be fixed?
as the following picture
I think graph XY can achieve, but is not what I want because the signal is generated continuously for a long time.
I hope that data must be updated, graphic - mode this possible?
Use a fixed size queue and make a queue with loss when new data. It essentially becomes a data buffer of length defined by your queue size. To display data, use 'Get Queue Status' with 'Elements to return' = True.
(Or have fixed an array of size and have a circular index of items - but I think that the solution of the queue is cleaner)

HP Deskjet series 1510: Printer Deskjet 1510 fixed margins 25 mm, why so wide?
Hello
I have trouble to print a document created on the Publisher, then printed on pdf file on a page A4 HP 1510 series.
The pdf file is shrunk because even my document margin is 10 mm,
a default margin seems to be put in place by default 25 mm.
I understand that this printer needs a border (or a minimum margin).
But where can I change this default configuration?
Thank you for your help.

PS: below an overview of my screen 'Polish', easy loan for any IT guy.
Hello
Thise are not a print margins, but the margins of the PDF of the file itself, when you use Adobe Reader, who may not be changed, an editor would be necessary for such a.
Select the Fit in the resize options, click Properties and easurement that paper size is selected.
There will be some margins, what are the limits of your printer, but the margins will be as follows (the PDF itself unless have margins more due to a different scale of size, do not forget to review the preview pane before printing.)
You can find the minimum margins for your printer under "specifications of paper output > margins below:

How can I fix margin shift?
I have a little problem with the first of the InDesign lessons. I am actually very happy with the layout of a catalog that I build, but when I publish the pages in PDF format, I get some odd margins moving upwards and to the right.
For example, here's what my layout looks like inside InDesign. Pretty nice and neat - far from perfect, but I am happy with the look for my first outing with the software.
But as soon as I go and post it to a PS and then convert it to PDF, it's wobbly. Note that moving the left border and bottom, but also a strange overlap along the middle of the page (text and the color bar).
Any help that although people can offer to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!
Export to PDF. PostScript and distill everything is simply archaic.

Sometimes when I chat on facebook I left the mouse above a link by erroneous and their below to the target of the link. When the url too long covering the line completely. It's so annoying because I did not see what I wrote.

Is there any solution that target the width of the url or hide?
Sorry bad English.
Best regardsThis code is currently specified for the statuspanel popup:

statuspanel { -moz-binding: url("chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml#statuspanel"); position: fixed; margin-top: -3em; max-width: calc(100% - 5px); pointer-events: none; }
You can watch the extension of status-4-Evar.
You can set a max width for this pop-up that is lower than currently specified "max-width: calc (100% - 5px)" with userChrome.css code or hide the pop-up window.
Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

Write that VI PNG file will not replace the existing file
Hi all
I use VI file PNG write to store the graph in a png file. I am able to save the file with a specific file name, which includes the date, model number, serial number etc.. Once the chart is saved as a png file, if I make changes in the graph (as autoscale, turn captions etc.) and try again to save the file with the same file name, write PNG leader VI does not save the changes I made on the chart. I'm looking at the timestamp on the windows Explorer, but it is not updated. I opened the VI itself (which is write protected) to see if it generates an error if I provided the same file name, but it does not generate an error.
I don't know if I am missing anything.
Can you people please help me find a way to replace the existing PNG file?
I'm using LabVIEW 2013 on Win 7 machine.
p.s. I use the second method mentioned in this article:
http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/5AE4ADCBB65A6D8F86256FBF007A1AC1
(Programmatically with the Get Image method).
Thanks for your help

Explorer Windows cannot update the timestamp in the display immediately, or you might be looking at creation time, which doesn't seem to change when you replace a file.
I can say that I saw a similar question very recently (he was also PNG, even if it's not really relevant), and here it certainly crushes - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LAVA-snippet-overwrite-keeps-old-date-time-of-png-file/m-p/3257059#M...

Support to the Structure of the event!
Hello
I am trying to structure of the event a config in the way, I could change the range of graph of sample to analyze.
I have 3 graphics. The upper part is the input signal. In the middle is the signal with some calculations and the bottom is the graph where I fixed the width of the sample to be analyzed with other values.
I put the structure of the event in the way that I read from the file and later update the data table to force execution of cases "table 2".
Its only example, but I would change the value 'start' and 'length' of the signal from the sample, but I can't get the data to show it again. I tried different options, like putting another source of the event within the event "together 2.
I could join cases 1 and 2, but the problem is with the command 'start and length', I can't get its display when I change the values.
I created an example since its part of my program, in order to simulate the same way I need.
I thank in advance, Fred.
You need over the value of table 2 for the tunnel exit of the case of the event. Currently, this tunnel of output is set to 'Use default if Unwired'. So, since you have no wire to the top of this tunnel, the value in the shift register will become an empty array.

The table or the data in a table is of type string, he got the date, time, and data from all 16 channels at that time. My requirement is to draw date hour n of all folders on the x-axis and its corresponding value in the chain on

Highlight and annotation of Focus/Center view
In an attempt to reproduce the features that existed in Adobe 9, I'm doing of the buttons which will go to the next/previous annotation regarding the selected annotation. I have all the labour code to view precisely the location of annotation and centering on this comment.
Workspace: Adobe Acrobat Professional of XI running Windows 7 64 bit. Open Adobe Acrobat MultiPage file, with annotations (comments) dispersed. An annotation is selected/focus in the user interface.
Problem: My issue seems to be with the doc.scroll () method. I can access the page where the life of the previous annotation, but before calling. scroll() on coordinates turned derived from the annotation.rect user space don't Center the view as NO says description of method in the documentation. This method is somewhat dependent on the schema level or doc zoom I don't know? Code in question is below:
// nextComment is the annotation object I want to center on myDoc.pageNum = nextComment.page // Convert from Default User Space to Rotated User Spaec var m = (new Matrix2D).fromRotated(myDoc,0); m = m.invert(); var nextCommentRect = m.transform(nextComment.rect); // Scroll the center of the view to the comment's top left corner myDoc.scroll(nextCommentRect[2], nextCommentRect[1]); // Open the comment popup nextComment.setProps({popupOpen: true});
When you run this code on a test of PDF, the document's scroll but never to the right place. What's not here? Is there a better way to implement this feature as my attempt here?
I appreciate any help you can provide.
2. sorry, I meant the fourth point. This will cause the annotation is visible on the page. If you want, add a fixed margin, so it looks better.

Holy Mexican mole sauce! That's a lot of CSS code.
All you really need is this:
{body
Background: #2 c 2825 url(images/topBg-repeat.jpg) no repeat center top fixed;
}

I have created two pages which are prototypes for a web project to come n and I put these two pages for the customer to see. They indicated that they are unable to scroll to the bottom of the page because there's no showing... scroll bar and actually if I look at the pages he has no scroll bars. For me, this isn't a problem because I use a large screen, but for them, it's a problem.
I didn't build this somehow differently that I used to do, and I don't know why, I would get no scroll bar if I close my browser window. If this should not be automatic? Can someone tell me what is the problem?
You can see the pages here:

Thanks in advance,

I am still blocked content in the div was impossible!
OK, I got the third column in place, but still not get the contained table that I put in to remain where it belongs or even:
I put a table in the way of the code, the other that I couls see the insertion point in the correct div, but neither table remains for the width that I specify, they expand to the right beyond the content div, and who put the first table on the top of the second.
Here's what I like the HTML code:

Upgrade from CF7 CF 8, now dynamic pdf page-layout is all messed up
Over the weekend, we went from CF 7 to CF8, hotfix 3, and now, dynamic .pdf that we used to generate the content database feature is all messed up. The right margin changes from 1 to something like 2.5 inches, italics words now have the spaces before and after the words in italics. Any idea what's going on?Updated to 8.01. fixed... Italic fixed margin.

Graph waveform control - limit lower and upper limit Autoscale
The graph is a waveform their a way to define the lower limit of the graph Y to zero and then have it autoscale the Y maximum limit as a percentage of the maximum value of the graph (150% for example)?
Direction of examples or read about a starting point would be great!
Thank you
