• The graph refresh is very slow with large data sets

  When the graphics of large sets of data in tiara, the construction of the graph is slow (3 pts M takes 30 sec). Fair enough-, the problem is, however, some little change do you later to the curve, it will refresh all over again, and during this time you can't do anything else with DIAdem.

  Any way to relieve it?

  Problem seems to be solved - restart of DIAdem restored time to update to an acceptable level, or at least it seems that restarting is the only change.

  I tried later with the two parameters of charge mentioned by AndreasK and both just as powerful.

  I tried remote desktop access and it works all too well - also go remote DIAdem (to see if it's a graphics driver issue)

  I feel kind of silly not being able to identify what was wrong and I thank you for your help.

• Move data directly from inside the loop

  Is it possible to move data directly from inside a loop outside the structure of matter in real time? I would like a chart of the data in a structure of matter in real time outside the structure of the case. Ideally, it would include information of the real deal and then the waiting period as a '0' for false case. Attached is a version simplified VI I'm working. I tried the local variables, but they only read the first item for loop puts each cycle T/F. One idea is welcome including a complete change in the structure of the VI.

• QUESTION: SE 2012 data display returns to the time graph each time

  I have SigExp 2012.

  If I try to add a data view and make a pledge of graphic style, thermometer, etc., as soon as I have the right up until it clicks, add my TC chain, the data view returns immediately to a graph time.

  This occurs when you try to change the display of a signal in its raw format "waveform".
  You must convert your signals in scalar format. To do this simply add an amplitude and levels step (under: analysis > measures Time-Domain). Drag this DC signal newly converted to a new chart and right click on the graph to change the display.

  Honestly, I'm not sure why raw waveform signals are inherently limiting viewing functionality, but in such cases, it is.

  You can also; According to the devices on which you use and the order in which you add to your DAQmx Acquire, some default signals step to scalar signals without having to convert.

  See the attached screenshot and you'll see how the icons are different between the waveforms and scalar signals.

• How to ensure that the graph xy plots are present?

  Since the update to LabVIEW 2014 this week, I have a problem with the code that worked (or didn't, but the problem was unnoticable).

  As example the llb I created to present the question, I'm graphic xy filling with quiete some data and then color programmatically plots.

  The problem is that if there are too many plots then the property nodes that are to color the mistakes of Mr. thow plots as if the corresponding plots were not present in the graph still - even if I used a single flat sequence structure to try to ensure that the data is written in the plot before trying their color.

  Maybe this wouldn't be in LabVIEW 2013 too - but the threshold for the number of plots was higher. All I can say is that I have observed this with data sets that worked well in 2013 of LabVIEW.

  To reproduce simply run 'color of the graphs.vi' with values high enough to 'numerisch' and ' numerisch 2 "(50 on my machine can be more about yours).» I left the terminal nodes property unwired error so you get caught up in the right position when the error occurs.

  Somehow check if all parcels are in the charts again? This way I could introduce a delay that ensures that I don't have the color of the graphics that do not exist yet - regardless of the speed of the target computer.

  Xy graph behavior has changed in 2014 of LabVIEW? Or maybe his performance?

  HM, your addendum somehow answered my question. We are indeed an against the user interface thread race condition.

  Unfortunately, I do not know a method to wait than the UI thread to have access to all plots. In addition, the waiting time that you need depends on the ability of the system, which is dynamic, you know not all processes background or in parallel, running applications.

  That being said, I recommend a work around:

  1. create the data for the plots

  2. how many plots you have in query data

  3 write short dummy data in the terminal, and not the data of the whole plot

  4 Recolor plots

  5. write the correct field data

  I try to plot the graph of origin using Labview. In Labview I connect and create the new model of origin for instance. Template file (.) OPJ) was created before. End of data in the worksheet then I plot the graph of origin. But I can't use OA_NewEmptyGraph.vi because it is to create a new chart. I'm trying to graph in graph model.

  In labview that I found for OA_FindWorksheet.vi sheets, it's journal to find, but a cant find, a few "OA_FindGraph.vi" is - it is or made elsewhere?

• Trace the signal with little data

  I have the problem of tracking. I would draw a signal I have greated. I store the profile of signals in a table and this table I want to give with "draw the waveform. The problem now is that my signal may have a minimum of 4 values. The function of "Draw the waveform" plots each position of the table in the graph. With 4 values, the result is a triangle signal but it is false, that the signal should be like a rectangle (signal Wave Drive). There is no action between that. I have the oscilloscope the correct signal with only values in the table.

  In the 1 following you can see the result. The signal has an offset of 5 V, just FYI. The signal should be the signal in the following 2 (orange).

  Probably a trace type thin step in PlotWaveform will do what you want.

  You can experiment with styles of different path for example native of race graphs.prj: you can locate with finder example or simply search in the \userint folder.

  How reference to the ListView object with the name "listView" in different parts of the MyApp.cpp file? Is there anything else I should add to the header file to make the accessible listView?

  I was able to clear the listview with the following code, if anyone is interested.

• Graph waveform repeats with each iteration of the loop

  Hi guys,.

  I got some great responses from you many already, so I hope you can help me once more!

  I try now to simply take a voltage that is measured by a sensor, I tied to AI1, and I built a graph of very simple waveform using a DAQ assistant. I have the setup terminal to CSR, the acquisition value continuous sample mode and read samples and rate game to a control on the Panel before which I can control myself. All this is a while loop that is needed to collect data over time.

  However, the problem I have is that for each loop of the loop, it seems, to reset the graph, so my x-axis never increases over time, ideally I want it to do is to show results through from 0 to 100 on the x-axis to say, and then, when it comes to 101, he will start again on the extreme left of the graphic to the right to a crossing another 100 points given) (there's a term for this, but I forgot, sorry!). To be honest, this kind of logic like everything in the loop will be restarted, but after trying to chart the loop it does not work, so I'm fresh out of ideas.

  I think I might have to do is to manually build segments of data acquisition (DAQ mx) and have only certain parts of them in the loop, although I can't be sure. I tried various examples and online on the database of NOR (including tension-int acq & graphic clk which works well in the examples, but not at my request) but no luck for now

  If anyone can think of what could be the problem, then please let me know. FYI the sensor is optical fiber if it makes a difference. I have attached the file VI that I did does not really...

  Since you use a chart there is no way to fix it. If you choose to go to a XY chart you could solve this problem. See the example below.

  If the problem I encounter is here for loading data in the link table that I check if DHCP is present in the subntwk table, then continue to another mistake of the newspaper. If CMTS then left create link to another error in the newspaper.
