    I bought my laptop the year last of Turkey;

First of all, I have very important problem of graphics keyboard (problem of delay) abd.

My graphics card, supposed to be an ATI RADEON HD 5145.
I'm trying to download toshiba drom website, there is also no suitable driver for my laptop.

Then I tried to recognize my phone with the pc download - recognition program so maybe I just took bad laptop model. The PROGRAM I have installed RECOGNIZED my phone!

    * This means, Toshiba has not identified, it is own laptop template! *

I updated my driver from Windows Update and windows update just recognized my HD 4500 graphics card? and it still gives me blue screen now. !

If Toshiba won't support my laptop why they do not make announcement for this problem?

    Hello

As far as I know this laptop is equipped with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145.

    Here are the details:
    [Satellite L500-1UU part number: PSLS9E-01N00DG3 | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=EU&com.broadvis ion.session.new = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = 1081162]

Don't know why your Win 7 recognizes the card as HD 4500, but I recommend that you check this in DirectX
In RUN (or search) type DXDIAG and check what information would be available to the GPU.

The graphics driver's ini file contains more graphics model numbers smart card so the same driver is compatible with the different graphics chips!

Do not forget that you have downloaded the right version of display driver v 8.653 (32-bit or 64-bit)

So I got a new (TG 640) graphics card for my pc. I tested it on another computer the day before. Worked well. I plugged my HP Pavilion 500-130DE and started. I changed my slot onboard DVI cable to the GT 640 and cable says no signal. While the pc was still on I switched the cable back to the integrated graphical location motherboard and got the windows login screen. • Where can I download the latest driver for Satellite A200-1KZ graphics card?

    Hello

I bought a game a few days ago, I installed it without problems here, but when I started the game it work to its graphic card the lowest "sweet mode". I spoke with a few of my friends and they told me it was a problem with the graphics card.

I can't find my graphics card on my computer and I don't know where to download the latest graphics card on the Toshiba site.

Can someone help me with this situation? See you soon

According to the specifications of the laptop, your laptop Intel shared graphics card. To be honest this laptop is not one that is suitable for the games. I A200 with Intel graphics card and can not play game 4 older years as on my laptop.

Do you use WXP or Vista on your A200? This game is designed for Vista or Windows XP Home edition?

Is it possible to upgrade both the power supply and graphics card?

There will be no problem of compatibility (PSU Corsair CX 500 questioned?.)

I heard a lot of chatter on hp restricting the upgrade of their pc.

    The new card will work?

    Any help will be apppreciated.

    @Jeffrin98, welcome to the forum.

I cannot find the specs of the product to the computer.  So, here's what you need to do.  Press Start + R from the view of the office.  This will open a run dialog box.  In the box labeled type msinfo32 opened.  In the page that opens, check the option titled Mode BIOS.  If he says UEFI motherboard is supported by the video card.  If this isn't the case, you will not be able to move forward.

The next step is to measure the space where the card will be installed to ensure that it fits.  Measure from the back i/o port to the front of the case.  This will allow you to see if other ingredients will limit the installation.

The CX500 Corsair power supply (PSU) should work.  However, check how much power requires the video card.  It may be better to buy a PSU with 600W.  High power will be used during peak power needs.  In addition, the card may require additional power connectors.  Also, I recommend a modular power supply.  It allows you to use only the cables that are absolutely necessary, create better air circulation.  It is very important with more powerful graphics cards.  The heat can be much larger.

    Hello

Graphics (most of them) in the notebooks are soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded. You will need to replace the whole motherboard and also only use compatible system cards. Check out this guide for maintenance and services:

    Hello:

Unfortunately, the video card is unable to be upgraded in your model specifications, or most any other laptop by the way.

The integrated video chip is soldered on the motherboard and it uses system memory. Video chips even discreet are normally part of the motherboard and cannot be changed.

  • HP Envy 750-114: replacing a graphics card and opening upward

Ok. I'm already sorely regretting the purchase of any computer with a graphics card intel. I wish never to see another computer of graphics cards intel. I've got people who can advise me (somewhat) about how we replace these things. But still, in my ignorance, know that the first requirement is to open the machine. They wanted me to take a picture of the inside to give a sense of my options.

Only I can't the infernal thing open. I see what looks like should be an easy thing of twisty open, but no other screws that look like they open on one side. However, the twisty thing is totally impossible to twist. Nothing I have is able to open it.

Someone please tell me how to open this thing! There must be a way that does not require a hammer. What I want is a graphics card that works - I can't even this one to play older games (and it is for most everything I play, except star wars the old Republic.) And the last driver update that has even beaten!) The graphics card intel cheap is literally the only thing stopping me. It meets all the other requirements. But I can't yet figure out how to get the thing open so that people can give me advice on what I can replace it with.

    Help, please.

I think that there is a hole in the nut as you try to turn.  In fact, you can insert the right Torx screwdriver and turn it to the left side.  This should allow you to open the case.  At least what I had to do to open the suitcase on my new HP Phoenix.  I have to admit that it was not easy to do, however.

  • Portege R700 - Autocad 2011 does not recognize the graphics card

    Hello

I have toshiba Portege R700 with 64-bit win 7 installed.
I need the computer for use with autocad 2011.

For some reason any auocad does not recognize the graphics card installed on the computer.
I suspect it because very little memory is allocated for the graphics card.

How can I change with the memory allocated for the graphics card, or perhaps, can someone show me where can I find a driver that supports autocad.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

What Portege R700-xxx you have exactly?
As far as I know the graphics memory cannot be assigned manually.
Everything is controlled by the graphics driver and you have no influence on this

You can try updating the graphics card driver maybe it would help.
The most recent driver found on the page of the European driver Toshiba
If not, you should check the manufacturer of the graphics chip driver

    Good luck

    I have a Satellite L350.
I installed a game (EVE online) and it works as it should; However when I use alt - tab, the game crashes.
It is not supposed to do this, and on the other PC it does not crash.

I contacted the technical support for the game itself, and after reading my dxdiag, they concluded that it was because my drivers are up to date.

They said specifically the graphics and audio drivers are the cause of the problem.
I have a Mobile Intel (r) 4 series express chipset family graphics card, and the driver is dated 06/12/2008.
my sound card is realtek audio and is dated 11/02/2006.
I tried to update the graphics card on the site of intel, but the program tells me the installation was not validated for this computer and I had to contact the manufacturer.

Anyone know where to find the updates compatible with computers laptop toshiba?

    Yours sincerely,

    Hello trouble

Please remember you have laptop and not of office. What you have done is just and it will help with the office, but on laptops, the situation is very different.
Graphics card is suitable for the use of the laptop by Toshiba and downloaded driver from the manufacturer of the graphics card can not be installed.

As you know probably common problem with laptops is heat and temperature of the material must be controlled. Graphics card too high temperature can ends with overheating and book cut or damage the equipment. Toshiba laptop to protect material must ensure on the pilots and don t allow to run on the limit.

I must also say that your laptop is not game machine.
