Graphic with several plots, a cursor jumps by programming of intrigue to tlot

Hello

I use MS 2013 with Vstudio 2010

I have a graph with 3 plots, and a slider that at design time is attached to trace 0.

I need to attach this cursor on plots of 1 or 2, according to the index of my choice.

I guess that a solution would be to remove the existing gursor and re - create a new, attached to a different field.

But can it be done using the existing slider?  I couldn't find a way to do it.

I need something like:

' private void comboBoxCursor_SelectedIndexChanged (object sender, EventArgs e)
{
var selected_plot = comboBoxCursor.SelectedIndex;
var cur_indx = waveformGraphScope.Cursors.IndexOf (xyCursorScope);
waveformGraphScope.Cursors.?. Plot [selected_plot]
}

Thank you

Igor

In fact, it's simple:

If "selected_ch" is a parcel number, then he focus cursor to a particular field:

waveformGraph.Cursors [0]. Plot = waveformGraph.Plots [selected_ch];

  • Best way to disable several plots on XY-graph?

    Hi all

    I need to hear here. I have an XY Chart with several plots.

    Here's how the VI would work.

    1. start of program, no parcels or scale is shown.

    2. several buttons are available to select who are plotting to TURN (corresponding scale is also ON / OFF).

    What I have now is to transmit the data to the first graph with all plots and invisible scale.

    I did it using the graphics property ActPlot, ActYscl and PlotVisble nodes, but I had to for this

    through each ActPlot/ActYscl. There are therefore several knots of property in all directions as

    in the figure below.

    My questions are the following:

    1. a lot of knots of property would require more memory or CPU resources?

    I do a lot of similar manipulation on the graphics property (cursors, scale, color, etc.). I'm worried

    the end result is a program that really doesn't do much, but a lot of memory/CPU hog resources.

    2. is there a better way to do it? Perhaps a property node that turns off all

    visible at once?

    I read in another post that suggests to use a loop to turn off one by one. I can

    certainly do it, but it would be a better way?

    Any suggestion or the part of the thought is appreciated!

    Thank you

    CC

    Certainly you must change the data that you pass to the chart, especially when working with lots of data. Simple reason: memory usage.

    Visibility of switching does not reduce the amount of data that you pass to the curve (that copy for display) as a result, you'll probably lose a lot of memory.

    But if you want to display all data at once and only give the possibility to hide the small amounts of data, the approach with the 'visible' property node is OK, but...

    hope this helps,

    Norbert

    EDIT: If you want to change multiple properties at the same time, you must include a control panel (Control Panel-property) defer updates.

  • I have a problem with the cursor jumps on the computer.

    Original title: cursor jumps

    This seems to be a common problem...

    I have a new Windows 7, but the cursor has a mind of your own.  He clicks on things when I move the cursor.  It will change the view zomming to 200% or 75% - he won't stay at 100%.  It also captures the scroll button IE on IE - a small book in the edge of the slider and the window jumps to the top of the scroll key, and then down.  He won't hold still.

    I tried several fixes, and nothing seems to work.   I really hope that Microsoft will fix this problem.

    With touchpad?

    Cover the touchpad with thick cardboard OR connect a real mouse to the laptop computer and disable the touchpad via the control panel.  Use the system for some time, and if the problem no longer - it's just you touching the touchpad with various parts of the hand/arm yout while using the system.

  • How to make graphic XY interpret several plots of a While loop

    I am a student of Georgia Tech researching prefabricated FETs, relatively new to LabVIEW, and I write a LabVIEW vi for the characteristics of output. Basically, a curve of Ids vs Vds with Vgs (curve tracer) evolution. I'm controlling a power supply via GPIB to bias the door while using another supply/power meter via GPIB to vary Vds while obtaining the IDs. My program is working as needed with one exception. After that I built my data table, my XY Graph interprets the data in the form of a plot and during the interpolation will connect all points of data together, as shown in the attached picture. I would like the chart to interpret the data in several plots in this way I can position the sliders along each plot for other parameters. I have also attached my vi if necessary. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

    ~ jdamato3

    Because you know from the start how much data will be in the plots, you can initialize the structure of final data once before beginning to loops. Now, the size of the data in the shift register structure is invariable for the duration of the race. It's a good thing!

    In the previous implementation, each table grows with each added item, and given that the tables must be contiguous in memory, each culture operation is likely to require a new copy of the structure of the whole of the data in memory. The program will be spent most of his time to allocations of memory instead of actual work. (no much here since the tables are short, but imagine MB of data and it will become all very expensive and slow).

    Here is a modification of the example. (remember that the data containing NaN show on graphs, thus giving the desired effect).

  • I have problems with the cursor jumping around when I type, especially on facebook.

    When I type, the cursor jumps around. Most of the time he'll be back in the part I typed before. And for some reason, he does it almost everytime I type in the word you. I have run virus scans and she always does. Any suggestions?

    By chance, your computer is a laptop or netbook?
    I found that when typing, my wrist is sometimes contact with the touchpad causing the cursor to jump on.  Something specific on how you type 'you' might make your wrist touch the touchpad.  If this is your case, there is a program called 'touchfreeze' which disables the touchpad while you type.

  • Is it possible to 'Load Up' the cursor with several elements of 'Place '?

    It happens quite often that I have a folder with several items that I want to place. I can go back individually and D command to the folder window to choose the order of the day and then place in the document. When there is page after page of items, it would be useful to be able to select multiple items that will go on a single page and then "spit their" so to speak, of the cursor by repeated clicks, machine gun style. Is this possible to do?

    TIA,

    Altogether. Select all. If they are not in the right order when you go to the place, use the arrows to scroll and the ESC key to cancel an object.

  • Equium A200 1 HR - cursor jumps in text unexpectedly every few minutes

    Immediately after the delivery of my Equium last summer, I noticed that the cursor jumped unexpectedly back sometimes. Does not seem to matter if it's a Word text or email. Contacted Toshiba support Northern and got after the answer:

    * According to our phone call I send you hereby the download link. Just click on the link and choose 'run '. Then reboot your PC and try again the function.
    http://support.toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/tpdrv-20070809141725.zip

    Nordic support *.

    But the problems persist. I'm a pretty fast typist, which may explain why more people are not a problem (?). And when I don't need to look at the keys as I type, the risk is, of course, my cursor jumps into my text without my noticing for several sentences... enough frustrating!

    Anyone experienced this? Other solutions?

    OK, I know what the problem is.

    The Synaptics touchpad does not include what is called a palm-control more. They abandoned their driver software. For some reason that I can't quite understand yet.

    I do the same thing as you. I plant away on my keyboard only to realize that the text is inserted to midway up.

    Palm control is basically a delay on the pavement, listening to your finger pressure. It is said to the computer when I type don't let my tap-click my cursor for a half second pad (or something like that). I got it on my other old computer manufacturer and it is very convenient for crash-away-typists like us.

    I learned to type by looking at the keyboard and likes it that way. This worsens the problem more by me not noticing for a long time the cursor jumped.

    Tonight, I am furious and went to Synaptics to know why they passed control of palm of new driver software. They do not treat Joe Public like me and you. Only the big boys.
    In short, we have Toshiba to return to Synaptics and solve this problem. Which brings me here, who found your post.

    The support guy who sent you this file I guess that did not really understand or put it down to a single driver (or other) corruption. We have already installed and reinstall it won't help.
    So I know your problem is the same as mine.

    Now, I went with the extras in the driver. Vista seems to hang bits of software. According to me, it's why the palm-check isn't there anymore. The software throws just an error indicating that you need a Synaptics touchpad to run this. A bit like a serial number of equipment to stop no Synaptics customers using their juicy software.

    I really don't see Synaptics file form of verification of the palm software. But this is only speculation. They can do what they want with their software.

    My best guess is the driver components running in the new Vista like they think that. Who stops at the palm working, check that gives us our little bug.

    I know that vista puts things in the registry at different locations and the additional bits are looking for Synaptics reg - key allow its use. Who are there, but in the wrong place.

    I'll send it to Toshiba Support now and lets hope they can get it fixed.
    I guess that if you went back and said, this does not solve what they would have degenerated until someone figured this out. If this isn't the support guys fault entirely.

  • Align WPF elements with the plot area

    Is there a recommended way to align WPF elements outside the graph with the plot area? I like my UI align the left edge of area of land. Another use case is lining up outside elements with a RangeCursor.

    The way we do now is to add a canvas as a child of the graph. The canvas contains a hidden Visual position ourselves with Canvas.SetLeft using values calculated from the graph margin and padding. Then, we call PointToScreen (new Point (0,0)) on the display. It works most of the time, but the position of the Visual sort of trolling the real edge graphic when the y-axis range changes (and a few other changes axis, that I've not completely nailed down). By calling UpdateLayout on the display when the range changes, I can make it work most of the time, but when I do that, I find that I spend a lot of time CPU in the user interface thread to this appeal.

    Currently, the graph does not directly expose the offset of the plot area in the border of the control. Your method of using a nested Visual to calculate the offset appears as a reasonable approach with the current API. I created a quick mock-up using this approach for certain forms of referring to the plot area and a range slider:

    XAML

    LayoutUpdated="OnGraphLayoutUpdated">

    Code
        public partial class MainWindow : Window {
            private static readonly Range RelativeRange = new Range( 0.0, 1.0 );

    public MainWindow( ) {
                InitializeComponent( );

    rangeCursor.HorizontalAxis = xAxis;
                rangeCursor.VerticalAxis = yAxis;
            }

    private void OnGraphLayoutUpdated( object sender, EventArgs e ) {
                UpdateAlignment( );
            }

    private void UpdateAlignment( ) {
                Size size = graph.RenderSize;
                if( size.Width <= 0.0 || size.Height <= 0.0 )
                    return;

    // Get reference point to canvas in bottom-left corner of graph.
                var referenceTransform = referenceVisual.TransformToVisual( graph );
                Point graphBottomLeft = referenceTransform.Transform( new Point( ) );

    // Apply margin to size and bottom-left reference point.
                Thickness margin = graph.Margin;
                size.Width += margin.Left + margin.Right;
                size.Height += margin.Top + margin.Bottom;
                graphBottomLeft.X += margin.Left;
                graphBottomLeft.Y += margin.Top;

    // Calculate top-right reference point.
                Size plotAreaSize = graph.GetPlotAreaSize( );
                Point graphTopRight = new Point(
                    graphBottomLeft.X + plotAreaSize.Width,
                    graphBottomLeft.Y - plotAreaSize.Height );

    // Get reference points for range cursor within plot area.
                var horizontalRange = rangeCursor.GetRelativeHorizontalRange( ) ?? RelativeRange;
                var verticalRange = rangeCursor.GetRelativeVerticalRange( ) ?? RelativeRange;
                Point cursorBottomLeft = graph.RelativeToScreen( new Point( horizontalRange.Minimum, verticalRange.Minimum ) );
                Point cursorTopRight = graph.RelativeToScreen( new Point( horizontalRange.Maximum, verticalRange.Maximum ) );
                cursorBottomLeft.X += graphBottomLeft.X;
                cursorBottomLeft.Y += graphTopRight.Y;
                cursorTopRight.X += graphBottomLeft.X;

  • Cursor jumping around while typing of text.

    Original title: why you (Microsoft) ignore the fact that the cursor jump around for text entry is a global problem that occurs on several platforms and applications?  It is not a problem of mouse and you know it.

    UH well?

    Hi Ony Parsons,

    1. What is the brand and model of your system?

    We met this problem and most of the time that this can happen on laptop and when you increase the sensitivity of the touchpad.

    You can try to reduce the sensitivity of the touchpad and see if it helps.

    Some options may vary depending on the touchpad software you are using.

    a. click on "Start" and click on "Control Panel."

    b. double-click "mouse". The "Mouse properties" window opens.

    c. go to the tab "device settings". Click on "settings".

    d. examine the left panel of the 'Properties' window and expand the "sensitivity". Click on "Sensitivity to touch."

    e. reduce tactile sensitivity in moving the slider to the right, to the label of "heavy touch. Experiment with different levels of sensitivity until find you one suited to your needs.

    f. click "OK" to close the "Properties" window Repeat the operation with the control panel "mouse". Your new touchpad sensitivity settings are now saved.

    Is there a resolution of Microsoft for this bug?  I had to modify this message 4 times during typing because the cursor jumped.

    Hello

    Looks like there could be some problems with the drivers.

    First of all I suggest you to reduce hardware acceleration and check if the problem occurs.

    To reduce the hardware acceleration follow the steps below:
    1. right click on desktop
    2. choose Customize
    3. Select display settings
    4. click on advanced settings
    5. Select the torubleshoot tab, then click on change settings
    6. in the window, you'll have a slider to reduce the cursor and check

    Also you can try to uninstall and reinstall the driver of the computer display

    You can also try to restore the computer to the previous working state by restoring the system
    Steps to complete the restore of the system:
    1. close and save documents that you have open.
    2. click on the Start button to open your Start Menu. The Start button looks like this:
    3. when the Start Menu open click the menu option all programs.
    4. click the Start Menu Accessories group once.
    5. click the System Tools Start Menu Group once.
    6. click once on the icon of the system restore. After you click the icon, if a user account control window opens, click on the button continue.
    You will now be on the System Restore screen. From this screen, you can specify the restore point that you want to restore.

    It may be useful
