  The A60 has an ATI Mobile Radeon 7000 IGP, and a file called ati2dvag.dll continues to spoil. He'll either on a blue error screen, or it changes the resolution of 640 x 480 and 4 bits. It has something to do with an infinite loop, or something. It happens randomly. Some days he can barely, and other days it always messes up. I googled the problem and it seems that many people also have the same problem. I read through many discussions and still have not found a solution.   Can you please tell us if there is no reason for that matter? You did what can be causing this problem? SP2 is installed on your device?

  I checked some forums and it seems that many users have the same problem, most of them with desktop computers. I also found the ati2dvag.dll download site. Check it on http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/A/ati2dvag.dll/6.14.10.6462/download.html. The most funny thing is that a user has the same problem and after changing the motherboard, everything was ok. I think you should also save up to your data and reinstall the OS using the recovery CD. If there is no contact of success ASP.

  In order to use switchable graphics, you will need to go to HP.com and download the driver for Windows 8 if it is available.

  If this isn't the case, you may need to go back to win7 to use switchable graphics.

  There is no man. I tried all the drivers that windows update provides the catalyst beta and nothing. I managed a successful bi using the drivers from the site hp for windows 7 and then run them in compatibility mode for windows 8, then right clicking on the maps in the Device Manager and choosing "let me search for the best driver" and then point it to C:\SWSetup\SP50640\Packages\Drivers\Display-ou whatever is the number of sp , and then they install with a typical brand, but always seem to work less the HDMI-cant get to project in my TV :-/

  Have you already looked at the Toshiba Site for graphics drivers? The graphics card you're talking about is a mobile version, so you have the correct driver. And if ATI is not suitable on their site then toshiba driver is there.

  Your video card is basic it is perfect for office 2D work which is what this laptop was designed for. It is not suitable for playing games and video chip does not respect the Sims 3 system requirements. There is nothing you can do about it.   Sorry, but the only suggestion is that you use the drivers from Toshiba, because they are designed to work with your model of laptop. All of these drivers are put to the test. There is no guarantee that it will work correctly if you install the driver downloaded from the download page of graphics card producer.

  You can try to contact support ATI and ask them what they think about it, but I'm sure they'll tell you that, for laptops, graphics cards are the producers of responsible books.

  to use only the graphics card Intel and not the ATI graphics card. The laptop is supposed to be able to do through switchable graphics of CCC settings (auto or man) that I did not and do not seem to be able to make it work.

  Plan B is to get rid of it!

  Question: How can I completely uninstall/disable/get rid of graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 so that the laptop uses only Intel graphics in the future?

  I'm not a gamer and do not require high-end graphics and is not compatible with some of my request for a sandwich that I need every day.

  First of all, make sure that your 5650 is active. You can tell that it is through small catalyst logo in the system tray, one that looks like a red atom.

  Bring up the Start Menu, type "Device Manager" in the search box and press ENTER.

  This should open the Device Manager. From here you will see a long list of devices, click the arrow next to 'display adapters '. Then right click "ATI Mobility Radeon 5650" and choose uninstall. Follow the dialog boxes to complete the installation

  This will remove the driver for the 5650, which should accomplish what you're looking for.

  The driver for laptop page also you a driver Intel graphics HD only, so it might be a good option to stability.

  It is not easy to find the drivers but I found one in the U.S. Toshiba download page. This is the model of laptop similar but with the same graphics inside.

  I put t know if this will help but check it out here.

  Choose Win8 (64-bit) and the display driver, so you should find it there.
