Graphics HD 530 Intel (r) card problem
Hello guys,.
I tried to contact Lenovo support team but cannot find all possible ways to contact them.
I am, however, having a hard time to solve my problem of Intel Graphics 530.
I have a laptop Lenovo Y700-15ISK, what is new and I got new band just a couple of days, but this is actually not a good start with Lenovo.
The problem is that my screen goes black sometimes, and I have to close my laptop and then turn it back on.
I tried to solve the problem with Lenovo Solution Center and I got this error code: WVC007002-UL7XPG below the video card: Intel(r) HD Graphics 530 (Test of mathematical operations).
I don't know really what I have to do in this case, and how I can communicate with Lenovo, because they have no possible way to receive customer emails which is a really bad sign.
Any help would be apperciated.

I had almost the same problems with my Y700 with the same hardware failure on the graphics card Intel 530 Mathmatical test chip. I just got the phone with support from Lenovo and they basically updated the Intel graphics driver with the latest beta drivers on the Intel Web site. The pilot, I had was the last that is displayed on the Lenovo for my Y700 page which was the 10.18.15.4271 version (http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-y-series-laptops/y700-15isk/do...). The driver downloaded the support person there is version 15.40.18.4380 (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25749/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-4...). She did some update to the solution Center and revived material analysis and my graphics Intel 530 now passes the test of mathematics. She said, the keyboard and the touchpad freeze and flickering of the screen could be linked to the old driver Intel VGA in order to update the drivers could solve the problem. There are things one additional support they can do to try to resolve these problems, but I thought I'd see what happens with the first Intel driver patch.
When it comes to communicate with Lenovo, there is a link on their support site to schedule a time for them to call you. I think you can do a live also chat session, but that option is not 24/7, as the hotline. See the page contact us. In my view, do not put your serial number to get all the options to connect with them and I had some problems with getting my serial number put in shape with Chrome. After that put it in the news, by clicking on submit this turn and never change the display of the page, it has been accepted. I tried to use IE and was able to get my serial number set. Their support site has some problems, but the technical support which helped me was quite helpful and was able to get everything updated pretty quickly.
I'll keep you posted if I still have problems with the new drivers.

Qosmio G40-10 s: graphics card problem
Hello.
I have a Toshiba Qosmio G40 laptop 10s with a Nvidea 8600 M GT grafixs card. I was playing a game when it locked up and pasted what I would describe as flashing red/green 'Matrixy' search screen.
He then a blue screen and trys to reeboot.
He tries to start windows, but once again the top matrix. If it loads to the top, it is in 16 bit color with red dots all over the screen.I am sure that the GPU is fried... and I was wondering what I can do? It's been 5 months out of warranty now.
I read on some forums that there have been a lot of problems with this Nvidea card... Is there anything I can do outside my warranty period with what there is a possibly faulty card in it from the beginning.
It will cost a lot of money to get it repaired, but its too good a laptop to let go to waste.
Any help is very appreciated.

If so, there seems to be a graphics card problem and it must be replaced.These overheating problems also occur if you use the nVidia display drivers directly. Toshiba drivers are pre-tested and don't overheat your system.
But I think you need professional help. You should contact an authorized service provider and talk to the technicians. They will help you! :)

Satellite M70-144: Linux monitor/graphics card problem
As the topic says I had problem with the starting x server on my linux partition on my laptop.
I tried several different distributions, but nobody seems to be better.I got Fedora Core 6 on it now and I at least get the Terminal so I can edit the Xorg.conf file and I download the latest drivers for my graphics a x 700 Radeon card. But nothing seems to be an improvement of the black screen when you try to start X.
Anyone else have the same problem and fixed or know any good HOWTO?
I don't have a M70. But a good tip is to get Knoppix. Knoppix is a bootable CD so you can run linux without installing anything. I had a few times where I couldn't have some hardware to work, but could Knoppix. Looking at what Knoppix used drivers, I could get it working in installation of Linux.
You can get Knoppix here: http://www.knopper.net/knoppix-mirrors/index-en.html burn it to a CD and boot from it.

You can disable the GPU manually by changing the preferences file to LR with a text editor such as notepad and change the line useAutoBahn = true to useAutoBahn = false. You do not want to do with LR does not.

OK have a problem with Windows Vista here. Its pc of my grandmothers, only a year or two. (office) My brother went in safe mode and came back with a restore point. He said it worked, but now, the screen goes black trying to open windows.

Card problems or video driver with a N200, please help!
I have a lenovo 3000 N200, that's really cool, works even at games very well, including the most recent.
But, is it normal that the pilot program display for freeze-out in Warcraft 3? He always does that when you access the list of cards in the game and after 3-5 minutes during a real game. It defines the resolution up to 640 X 480 (from 1280 X 800) and in 16 colors. I have to reset it to get it to work. Also, it does the same thing in Spore - if after seeing the pilot written for Spore installed, (that I downloaded from the lenovo site) I have not encountered this problem far. In addition, Second Life stops - Fortunately it does not freeze the drivers. I understand that the model I have is not designed for the game, but if it can run Warhammer 40 k: Soulstorm with graphics settings meduim (on the widescreen) without a lagg I do not understand why it would not be able to manage warcraft 3 - even a m200 express ATi can manage. I mean that a X 3100 to Intel must be much more powerful. (ATi said card lagg with older games like Unreal Tournament)
I have the latest version of the - official - driver and a Win Xp pro Sp2. I always keep my system updated - register for Essilor, but until this driver has not need sp3 - and cleaned viruses.

Ooh, it seems that I was right, my problems stems from the incompatibility of the software.
Namely the based opengl driver (this igfx something of the file that is in the rror reports I receive).
I solved the problem with Warcraft 3, you have to click with the right button on the icon of warcraft 3 and type the destination line (just after the second "")-opengl or - swtnl. (or - d3d, nota bene, who has not worked for me)
Although even now it's not as pretty as on my table top pc, it works fine and farily good graphics.
I think your problem is similar to mine and is amplified - sort of - by Vista somehow, it seems to cause a more severe software incompatibility.

Satellite P10: How to enable the WiFi of Intel 2200BG card

I have a psp10e Satellite that I recently installed a WiFi of Intel 2200BG card. After having problems to light up I put the Ribbon on the PIN 13 on the map to turn on the radio.
I have installed all the latest drivers / BIOS updates and spend hours searching the Internet I am still yet to find a cure for the hardware switch/fn + f8 and the WiFi led to work.
Is there something that everybody has understood to make the switch/led work material? There must be a better remedy than a piece of duct tape! It is the BIOS that has nothing to do with the hardware switch?

Edge 15 Intel - added memory problem

Mine is edge 15 i3 - 330 M, 2 GB, ATI HD5145, Win7 HP 64 (0301 - 48G). All drivers and BIOS are updated.
Originally, it carries 2 GB RAM PC3 - 8500 (Hynix) on board. I bought another key Hynix 2 GB. It is absolutely identical to the original but PC3-10600.
After I plug in the memory in the free location, system starts up, but the screen 800 x 600 pix, with "ATI drivers not found message, etc.", so it seems like there is no ATI card, and it works in emergency mode. In the video properties, ATI drivers is replaced by "VgaSafe", and the monitor is "standard".
Each module of memory works well separately, but I have a problem using two modules together. Is this some sort of IRQ problems, memory sharing with graphics card problem, or it can be caused by the disparity of frequency memory or...? Help, please.
Engineering mentioned this difficulty because it's BIOS 1.23/2.15 and above

You must use the driver from Toshiba's European driver page.
If you want to install the driver from the Intel page then you can do it at your own risk.
This driver can be installed in Device Manager. There, you have to point to the files in the driver downloaded from Intel page by using the Advanced installation procedure and have to force the operating system select this driver. -
TouchSmart HP Envy 15-j078ca - sound card problems

I have a HP Envy 15-j078ca running windows 8.1 touchsmart and, recently, I noticed that my audio is static/crackling noises. A test, I plugged my head phones to see if it was a speaker problem or a problem of sound card and audio in my headphones was also static noises.
Some of my audio programs tell me that it is a sound card problem.What I did: I followed the advice on another thread that had me uninstall the drivers and hand it to reset my bios settings can have my drivers to reinstall but I found that my audio worked perfectly! ... for about 2 hours then my cell phone was dead silent so I got this back a few days and the audio was fine again... for a few hours before he began to do staic noises again.
I'm not really sure what the question is here, or how I can correctly solve this so any help would be appreciated!

Satellite A300-2 TB-Ethernet network card problem

I have a laptop Satellite A300-2 CT with Windows XP SP3 for a year. There is a problem in the network ethernet card, I think.
If I connect my computer to a wireless network, all right. However, if I connect the computer to a wired network via the ethernet card, problems begin.
A little later after the connection. 'something' is happening and my windows theme changes to "classic", plus none of the applications that uses the beginning of the soundcard NOT working. In addition, the system slows down a lot for all the one or two minutes. When I check running applications during the"slow", I see that deferred procedure calls takes a lot of time processor.
Problem does not end with this, after that I disconnect the ethernet connection and restart my computer, the application of the wireless (Atheros) adapter takes control of wireless connections, so I can not connect wireless networks I wanted. I have to restart the computer to resolve this problem.
I've updated the network ethernet card driver, nothing changes.
In conclusion, I think the network ethernet card has a problem and maybe it is in conflict with other hardware (such as the sound card).

I have never heard of this issue, and I think all you can do is update the LAN and the audio driver. The two you can download from the official website of Toshiba:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download driversIf it doesn t work I think I think it is a software problem I would recommend reinstalling Windows Toshiba recovery disc. Who can restore the factory settings, and then you can test it again.

Yes to the M7, but I do not know what want Dv7. Usually any Intel based want Dv7-7000 series should support any Intel wireless card. It looks like Intel 1 x 1 3160. I suggest to get 7260AC from Intel instead...
