  Hey, guys!

  I'm new to the forum and I apologize in advance if there is another thread with the same problem. I wanted to just share some pictures and maybe get answers to my problems. As mentioned in the legend my macbook air that I bought last year has green and Red pixels flashing on the screen. It covers just a vertical strip of 3-4 cm on the left side. It does not affect the performance but it gets really annoying. Im guessing there is something faulty with the video card or the matrix of pixels.

  Anyone know what seems to be the problem? In addition, the 1 year warranty covers these dysfunctions of the material? And how long would it take for the apple service center to fix it?

  It looks like a bad graphics card. Bring any Apple store, it must be covered under AppleCare.

  I recently bought a Toshiba X 200-191.
  After a while, I noticed green and black points while playing video, view photos and sometimes the vista aero interface. When I use the vista Stephen 3d window flipping until the problem goes away for a while... but finally returns.

  (it is a pity that Toshiba is not released new drivers for awhile :(

  I got this Toshiba L450 for a few years now but suddenly will not display anything on the screen. The hard drive does not sound like its spinning, but the fans turn on and then off the coast from time to time. There is green a light orange, but nothing shows it.   To be honest, I don't think you can do something other than control of the RAM and the laptop for external monitor connection.
  RAM failure can cause issues as described in your ad, but it seems that you have already checked the modules of RAM and obviously, this isn't the reason for the question.

  OK so this problem started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to settings > General > Date and time.   So I have this laptop (dv5 1002nr) and of course just after the warranty goes out did the laptop. This original computer was one of my friends who took to Best Buy Geek Squad and they told him to fix this laptop it would cost $400 if not more.

  So to make a long story short, she got a new computer and I helped get parameter and everything and then I asked for this laptop (I have set now free) did not work if I could have. He was a useless piece of junk so she agreed.

  After about an hour of resistance tests, transistors, etc., I can verify that all energy through the computer is as it should. I spent maybe 30 minutes on Google without success, and finally I decided to try everything. I started with the new ram without success. I tried all the silly little "trouble shooting tips" HP has for this laptop.  I'm running a little more than 2 hours working on this seemingly useless task when I finally managed to make it work.

  I did about 3 - 5 times now and it works every time.

  First I remove all the ram and then turn it on. (of course it doesn't)

  Turn the power off.

  Then remove the processor and turn it on. (attention)

  Disable.

  Put the processer back in and turn it on. (still not working)

  Disable.

  Put the ram back in and turn on.

  That's what I did and it works every time for me.

  Since I was only 17 and a little short on money I can't go just around portable computers purchase like these with this problem and test this further.

  If anyone has this problem please try this and let me know.

  Oh and HP. thank you very much your 'support' really helped me... at the expense of my portfolio.

  I did the 'live chat' and they said that my laptop having is not a display might be due to my hard drive or the motherboard.
