Griffin PowerDock charger

Looks like output of this charger to a USB socket. Does anyone know if this can be plugged into a wall charger that can accept a USB (like one of these wall Chargers)? It is logical that it should work, I was wondering if Griffin has decided to do something special to prevent it. Thank you.

    1. car battery charger damage iPhone 6 is it?

    2. What is the best, fast and safe car charger?

Cheap car charger can damage the battery. Get one that is certified Made for iPhone. Griffin and InCase the two make reliable car chargers. The Apple online store sells several others.

On the thing to do as a precaution - do not start the car with the phone connected. Connect to the phone after starting the car, because the starter on some cars can generate a voltage surge which can cause problems. A good charger should filter out them, but it's still a good precaution. (BTW, hybrid and electric cars do not have this problem).

    Hello world

I bought a car charger Griffin Amp 2.4 (12 watts).

They told me that this charger gets 5v and 12v out inout.

In fact, I can't undrestand the difference between volts, amps and volt.

I just want to know if this charger is draining my battery or it is not so bad?

This is the overview of the charger if it helps.

This low-profile charger works at the catch 12 volts in your car and is optimized to provide fast, safe load levels for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

    • Works in the bycatch of DC 12 volt console or dashboard of your car
    • Includes Lightning removable connector cable for charging and syncing
    • Pull tab to remove easily
    • 12 watts of load power supply: 5 volt 2.4 amp.

  • Line out Griffin does not not with Fuze 4BG

I try to send Fuze MP3 output for external powered speakers via the dock Griffin Sansa line out jack... USB computer connection is on the dock and the "rocket" display of the loading screen, but no exit music will play, I can't get the loading screen. When I initially placed the "rocket" plays on the dock that I get only a few seconds of output MP3 (but enough to make sure that both the line-out socket of Griffin and the speakers work) and charging then screen cycle takes over...

I am using Windows XP SP3, 4 GB Fuze, firmware V 01.01.15A. I have gone through the posts on this forum re Fuze and dock Griffin and other users seem to be problem using the line out of the Griffin dock during loading of their rocket on the dock... any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?  My external speakers play fine through headphones rocket taking...

First of all, you really need to update your firmware now.

Then, you can use not on Griffin dock line out when to connect to the PC, use a USB adapter instead.

  • Charger for Sansa Fuze

My wife has a Sansa E260 and a wall charger and car Griffin Technologies. The connector that plugs into the E260 is identical to that on my rocket. Can I use these Chargers with my rocket? Thank you.

In my opinion, they are the same.  I use the same USB cable for my E280 and the rocket without any problem.

  • With direct supply through Griffin PowerBlock load LifeDrive. Can it be done?

I don't like having to recharge the LifeDrive via USB to the computer.  So, I got this usb Griffin powerblock that I use to power my Zune player.  The power plug match the power of the LifeDrive specs.  I was wondering if it would FRY my LifeDrive by connecting the side usb in usb - next to the power supply powerblock.  I ask because I see other sites that the connector end of the power (the LifeDrive) is small and NOT like that of the connector used for power and synchronization via usb only.

A bit simpler: the powerblock I plugs into the wall and the usb cable plugs into it.  I'm afraid that somehow power not only to feed the correct contacts (to load), but power also to other contacts that synchronize the device to the computer, effectively blowing my LifeDrive.

Someone at - it experience with this dilemma?

    Thanks again

If you connect the USB cable into another USB port then the device should be OK. USB standards means the function of each axis in the conector and tensions, they are universal for any cable USB/port.

You can do a search on Google for a power running to your lifedrive.

    I found one on ebay.

  • WHY APPLE DOESEN'T SEND AN EMAIL ABOUT A CHARGE PENDING TO DOUBLE-CHECK A CREDIT CARD

So I download an app from Wal-Mart, and I have not anything bought on iTunes in a while, if I have $17.07 to credit. I noticed a "pending" charge of $1.00 and think someone's trying to see if the account will accept the charge pending in order to come back and 'buy' something bigger. So, I call Discover and report any suspicious activity, and cancel us the credit card! I then called the phone number on the charge waiting to see if iTune can tell me who are the load, only to get a recording to go to the web site.  What I did.  Nothing on the web site indicates that Apple will send you from time to time pending charge to CHECK a credit card that has not been used! I got Apple Support call me and they told me it! WHY IS THERE NO EMAIL SENT TO THE ADDRESS ON FILE TO EXPLAIN THAT?

It's normal...  Apple places hold a $1 authorization, but you will be refunded within two to three business days.

It is simply a waiting for permission. Nothing more.

  • iPad no charging current

Two of my iPads suddenly started poster "do not load" in the upper right corner recently.  A mini iPad 2 that was barely 1 month began to do this two days after hanging to a charger for the afternoon, and just tonight, I opened my iPad Air until you find that is now doing the same thing.

Both of the iPads are plugged to wall Chargers using the charger and the cable supplied with the iPad.  We have several devices Apple here in the House, so I made sure that the iPad 12W charger is used.  I also tried to hang the iPads up to different Chargers with the same result.  Other iPad and iPhone load fine on all our Chargers.

I tried to do a full reset on the iPad mini and has no effect.  At the end of the day, I went back to Costco, thinking it was defective, only to now find my iPad Air which I had for about a year is the same thing.  This cannot be a coincidence.

We had no problem with these iPads until the upgrade to iOS 10.  I upgraded the iPad iOS 10 mini and the problem started occurring about a day later.  My iPad that air has fonctionnee iOS 10 for almost 2 weeks now, I think, and it just started tonight.

There seems to be a problem with iOS10. Just going by the threads on this forum, Apple seems to have changed the minimum acceptable input power.

It doesn't seem to be much users can do but wait for a fix.

Even though it says not charging, let it set out with the screen and see if it is supported.

  • MacBook Air 11 '' does not turn on or charge

So here's my problem, I was using the macbook and I decided to close it and then fell asleep. On the next day, I opened it and try to use it, but he never responded. I thought that the battery is dead so I plugged in the charger and discover that the light never went. I was scared so I watched some videos about it and found that I just need to disconnect the battery, turn on without the battery but the charger plugged in, and close it down and put the battery, but who did not work at all. I also discovered that the charger light would come if I just used the charger on another macbook, any ideas on what to do?

  • USB charger - 29W C - compatibility with 12.9 "iPad Pro

I'm looking for an answer as to if the USB - C 29W charger is compatible with the iPad to 12.9 "Pro. I know this question has been asked and answered by the communities in the past, but when I went to the Apple Store to buy the charger today, the staff told me that the charger could damage my battery over time. I then started a support chat session to confirm the answer and the representative said (and I quote) "If 2 people advised me not to do something, I would not even waste my time." We could care less if you want to damage your unit. »

First of all, I never got a rude responses to Apple, so it was a surprise. Secondly, I really just trying to get an answer to the question. Can anyone (especially Apple) help out me? Thank you!

If it is not in the specs of the iPad, you're crazy to use it. The Chargers are cheap, the iPad is not.

Is it dangerous if I charge my iphone 5s all night?

N ° actually, it has some advantages. If your phone is plugged in, connected to WiFi and the screen is locked, it will automatically save on iCloud. And it will be fully charged and ready to go in the morning.
