  Let's take a step back. What are the requirements and what do mean by the word "clone"?

  "Clone" usually involves a physical copy of the database, so the physical structures are identical on the source and the cloned systems. This would require RMAN, if this can be problematic, because you're on 10.2 and the endianness of a Solaris (not x 86 Solaris) and a box is, in my opinion, different Windows.

  You can make a logical copy using DataPump. This is a point (actually several points in time by default) copy of the data, but the physical structures will change (index will be built fresh, the data will be physically reorganized, etc.). A logical copy means that the destination database is completely separate from the source, so no hope of the application archive logs, etc.. And generating export requires some input/output relatively heavy on the production database server while it is up, which is also problematic.

• GANYMEDE did not windows database authentication in AD.

  I wait with Ganymede installation in our environment using windows database authentication. However, I do not understand what I have to do on the RADIUS server to pass authentication to windows on our domain database. I have already created the user account special for Ganymede advertising and chooses widows database on radius server authentication option.  Local RADIUS authentication works fine but I would use the windows database

  Basically, we need more information such as ACS you run and what version AD 2003, 2008 etc... bare in mind that version 4.0 - 4.2 AVS does not work with AD 2008 R2.

  Basically, we need a few more steps:

  1.) together until a computer account and the name of cisco

  2.) implemented local policies in your windows

  3.) are you installing ACS on your domain controller or on a member server?

  4.) ensure that GBA services run with the account that you have created in AD, you must specify the account appropriate rights...

  In ACS go to:

  Database of external user > database group mapping > Windows database

  and see if you can find area in it if so it will be just a matter of mapping of the security groups in AD with ACS groups...

  I have a question about the segragation of database access using authentication of the os (like sqlplus "/ as sysdba") in the windows environment. Let me briefly explain my requirement: -.

  Assume that you have two DBA viz DBA1 and DBA2 and 4 resideds of databases in a windows server say A, B, C and D.Now I want to configure it in a way if DBA1 opens a session on the server then it may connect to the database A and B using only OS and DBA2 authentication can connect to database C and D only use OS authentication.

  Please let me know how to configure for this requirement.

• Do not want multiple windows group in the task bar, I want two icons of TB

  2 questions:

  (1) how can I create several icons in the taskbar to launch firefox?
  I want two to open normal windows and a third to launch a private window. (I have a keyboard shortcut for the window private opening already, but I want in the taskbar)

  (2) I don't want Firefox to group several windows in the taskbar. I wish each window to be its own icon. (Not for each tab, but each window)

  On Win.8.1, it's as simple as:
  Right-click in the taskbar-->
  -> Properties
  -> The taskbar buttons: never combine.

  Is it possible to use the function "Move to the group" from the contextual menu to move a tab from one window in a group of existing tab to a different window?

• TAB GROUPS die after closing the window, restoration of session does not apply and neither is history! I do not think that I have been warned!

  On leaving firefox, update, then restart, I lost the ability to restore sessions. I restored the Group of tabs in the past; It's different. My tab groups are lost forever and I don't remember even be warned about losing when the window is closed (as often happens and then I avoid close it.)

• Operating system windows vista, cannot create contact groups after the export contacts from another computer, how can I solve the problem

  I had surgery with vista and Windows mail and setting up the contact email groups, however I had someone export my 'contacts' to another computer that has worked on xp, since which time it is so more ease to set up groups.

• How to get a handle to the window to screen using just group id and the id of the window?

  We are trying to develop a video application, and we use ForeignWindowControl to display the video on the screen.

  We have those ForeignWindowControl declared and defined in a QML file that appears as needed.

  Using the CameraAPI, we are able to get local video displayed correctly on the local video ForiegnWindowControl. For this we have just the window group id and the id of the window api camera and it automatically configures the window newly created by the camera to the position API and the size defined in the QML file.

  However, this is isn't the case with the video remotely. Since there is no method/function similar to the createViewFinder of the camera api, we need to create a new window of ourselves that goes under the Group shared by the ForeignWindowControl remotely, using screen_create_window_type and set all the required parameters.

  To view the video, hard-code manually the position and size of the newly created window so that it corresponds to the position and the size of ForeignWindowControl remote in QML file and is displayed correctly.

  My question is how to find the ForeignWindowControl using just the group id and the id of the window? the way in which the cameraAPi done in-house?

  Any help would be appreciated.

  There are 3 ways to associate a window with a ForeignWindowControl.

  1 tell the ForeignWindowControl to expect a window with a given windowId.  Then after that libscreen allows you to create your window with the same windowId, use screen_join_window_group() to adhere to the same group that uses the FWC.  The FWC should automatically capture this event and associate the window itself.  This is how the camera it.

  2. call the bindToWindow() of the ForeignWindowControl method to associate the FWC a particular windowId/groupId.  Similar to the #1, but doesn't seem more useful if you create the FWC after the window of the screen has been created.

  3. call the setWindowHandle() of the ForeignWindowControl method.  Similar to the #2, but instead of using windowId/groupId, you spend just the actual handle.

  If you have created the window, you can use one of the 3 approaches.  If the window has been created in a different process (eg. mm-engine rendering, or photo-service device), then generally #1 is the approach you would use.

  After you change the Sort by or Group by folder view settings in a library, you can restore the library in it's default Sort by or Group by folder view by clicking on the revamp by drop-down list on the toolbar (top-right) and clicking Cancel changes.

  If Undo changes don't is not on the list, the library is already set to be seen by its default view Sort by or Group by folder.

  OPTION ONE

  Change "sort by" and "group by" view by using the View Menu

  1. open the Windows Explorer folder or library window you want to change the size of icons in the view.

  2 click themenu bar displayitem and select options that arrangement either Sort By or Group by , then select a columnname and ascending or descending for how you want the window arranged by. (See screenshots below)

  Change "sort by" and "group by" view by using the column headers

  To change to "be represented by" view folders in the libraries

  Reorganize by is only available in the folders in the library . The Arrange by options vary according to the model of folder in the library folder. All the included files and subfolders in a library will always share the same point of view of folder.   Our old file server (WINDOWS NT) of death and been replaced by a WINDOWS 7 computer with networks of peer-to-peer simple to other laptops and PC Office who are all happily run a mix of VISTA and XP.

  Our database of professional records main office (addresses, dates, WHO, etc.) is a FOXPRO database, we have developed 12 to 15 years ago.

  Its solid fully confined, robust and will happily work straight off a USB drive in a VISTA, XP, 2000, 98,95 powered by computer etc etc.

  He always works with happiness on our peripheral computers but just won't run on the new principal.

  We are not trying to network... but would like to have work on the WINDOWS 7 computer that is my one my Secretary prefer.
