  My home button is broken and I have been using the helper touch function to return to the home screen but I do not know how to enable guided access with the button broken since you will need to click here to enable it to triple. Any ideas?

  You can triple press touch home to help, but there is an easier way. Settings > general > accessibility > Assistive Touch > customize the top level Menu > click on an icon you don't often use (or add a new). A list is displayed, and you can assign a new icon, including the triple-click. -AJ

  I'm trying to restrict the use of an application using guided access on a 5 IPhone running iOS 9.3.1.  To activate the phone in standby mode guided access instructions from Apple support. However, I don't see any option on the screen guided access to allow this, and the hardware buttons (volume and sleep/wake button) do not react in the guided access mode.  I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

  When you first enable guided access, and you see the screen that allows to select an area of the screen, press 'Options' at the bottom left and turn on the on/standby button. You can also do this after guiding access has been activated by three times by pressing the home button and selecting guided access, then go into the options.

• Why restrictions on iPhone always reset when turned on and off?

  I hoped to keep a configuration saved for the rare times where I let my child use my phone of the restrictions.  Whenever I change the restrictions to make is respectful of the child, when I turn off the restrictions that they reset to default values and I need to activate each restriction again next time, which is very time consuming.  Is it possible to save a setting of restriction?

  Parameters of restriction within the settings app is meant to be set only once and then used on an ongoing basis. There is no way to set to save the settings of the restrictions without leave it turned on.

  An element that can adapt to your usage scenario is guided access. This can be activate within accessibility and allows the phone to be locked into a single application, with various limitations on the use of the button and the screen.

  I disabled multitasking gestures on my ipad pro, but 4-5 finger pinching gesture is always enabled when I'm in an opening statement. If I don't want the bosses to leave the presentation, I use the ipad as an interactive kiosk. When the gesture is applied, the presentation ends and returns to Keynote slide editor screen.
  Thoughts? (Note: there are various buttons on multiple slides, so using the guided access function does not really help for this application)

  It is not possible to Keynote on an iPad.

• Can one App Mode prevent certain applications to run correctly?

  I am trying to execute reverse Remote https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/reverse-remote/id438057551?mt=8 app in App mode on the iPod touch. This application listens to other devices running the same application and should play music draws on its own which is selected from other devices (acting as a controller). So it's basically just allows other devices to remote turn on music over wi - fi. But it doesn't seem to work while being simple application mode. Music plays at all, and the app itself is very slow. Looks like only one App Mode prevents any communication between devices.

  It works perfectly in the guided access and application single mode being off.

  Anyone know if its possible to make it work with single-mode App?

  I think you answered your own question. It seems that you want two apps to work, the music and the application opposite to work in mode app monkey. My definition, you can have only a single application by working single app mode.

• someone has any idea how to get Apple to allow apps that EFFECTIVELY controls the use of the children?

  I'm just frustrated.

  I have a child of 12 years and a house full of i-products.   The problem arises because I want to allow him to use a planning application and some other apps education during school time, but not the games and the wifi and so on.     We got the House and I would continue to allow the use of the i-device to school, but it doesn't seem to be an app that will enough allow me to the things of the lock upwards.    I don't have the time to constantly monitor, it's ridiculous.

  Sometimes there are ideas as to the allow him to use educational applications and its music from itunes, but not anything about wifi, or any other games or Web sites.    There are other times where I'd like it to be allowed to use iMessage and not much else.

  The problem is that there is something out there that allows this level of control.    Apple has rolled out their "our Pact" that does not come close, but it's a start.     And no other control parental app or program allows control level "app." they will allow you to lock all applications (which are not integrated in the iOS) or not, but I can not choose.     Restrictions are unnecessary and won't allow me to lock the wifi or not to allow the addition of new locations of wifi.

  It's to the point that they I need to new devices, I'll phase out home iOS devices, unless I can get a control.

  Someone at - it a have a way around this?    Someone has any idea how to get Apple to listen to?

  I bought six air iPad (running iOS 9.2.1) for "iPad reference Bar." school library these iPads are in a public space in a kiosk of the enclosure. While I placed many restrictions on these iPads, some students keep by allowing an access code. Then the other students back to iPads and try to guess the password. As you know, after 10 attempts, the iPad becomes disabled and I need to restore it back to factory settings. It's very long because I have to re - download all the applications that are purchased for these six iPads.

  There seems to be no way to restrict access to the creation of the access code, unless I buy a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. I also considered using a guided access, but which limits me to one application. I want students to be able to access many applications (for example, Google Drive, Safari, Edmodo, etc..)

  Short of finding where the students do this, I am at a loss for a solution. Help, please!

  To check the setting of the password, you will need to step up to an MDM. [I'm sure an mdm can check the setting of the password to 95%].

  You have your devices purchased with active dep or use the configurator to apple 2.  These two approaches to supervise the ipad. Meraki is a free MDM.

  Alternatively, you can can configure an ipad in master.  Make a copy of it.  Then upload the copy on another ipad.  It is cloning. Might ask someone already supervises and cloning ipads you can tack on!  Apple Configurator 2 supports cloning.  See the last paragraph.

  I would see if you can find financial assistance to students to help out you. Regarding an experimental cheap iphone 4S runs the latest version of the ios software.  The iphone and ipad are functionally equivalent except for construction in the application phone on the iphone.

• Synchronization of phone applications

  Last week I then reset my old iphone 4 to work around a problem with guided access and after restoring a backup apps are not sync. I can see them in iTunes, and most show that they will be installed. The only applications on the phone are the default. Some of these applications have data in them then how do I get back them on my phone?

  Would it be possible for the APEX development team to look at the next SMALL bug - fix and improvement for a future version of APEX?
  
  In the tabular interactive reports, the tag < th > presentation for the column headers should be < scope = "col" th >. The scope attribute is used by a screen reader to specify header cells refer to columns of data below them. In doing so, it would allow the APEX to fall MORE in line with 508 compliance and allow companies that produce APEX applications for government agencies to be more compliant.
