    Hi Jim,.

What is the brnad and model of the PC, you cannot install the USB headphnes on?

What is the brand and model of the PC headset works on?

I suggest to remove all devices external and other devices in your computer, then restart and try installing the headset.

You could go in Device Manager, click the view tab at the top and select hidden devices.

You can remove all instances of the headphones and other devices which are not connected, and then restart the computer.

As stated in your second post, what chipset driver version you did install (version number in particular, not "the last" please)?

As all devices have same also have USB device associated drivers. Appropriate sometimes drivers not detected after initial installation so reinstalling the drivers can fix the problems.

    • Click system and Maintenance, click System, and then click Device Manager.

Note: If the control panel is in Classic view, double-click System and then click on Device Manager.

    • In Device Manager, double-click to expand the 'Bus USB controllers', right click on the controller host, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".

Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.

  • Why USB-6501 does not install on Win7?

We are in a process of migration of the old XP machine test system to the new system of Win7. All but got properly installed USB-6501. After you install LabView / DAQmx and connection USB-6501 windows could not find the drivers for this device (poster the exclamation sign on the icon of the device in devices and printers). MAX 4.7.4 detects either of the device. I looked for similar scenarios on the Forum OR and abroad and tried the solutions proposed. Nothing worked for me. I know the issue isn't with the USB-6501 material because it is functional on the old system. 4.7.4 MAXLE Win7 system detects a very well (GPIB-USB-HS) different USB device, but not for USB-6501.

I hope someone can help us identify the problem that we have struggled with for some time. Here are the differences between shipments of software on two systems:

    Old system:

    OS - XP SP3

    LabView - 7.0

    DAQmx - 8.0

    VISA - 4.4.1

MAX - 4.5 (detects the GPIB-USB-HS and USB-6501.) Status on 6501 LIGHT flashes continuously)

    New system:

    OS - Win 7 Enterprise

    LabView - 7.0

    DAQmx - 9.2.2

    VISA - 5.0.3

MAX - 4.7.4 (detects only GPIB-USB-HS. Status on 6501 LIGHT flashes 3 times and then road)

    Germano,

The device has been appear in Manager devices, but with the yellow exclamation mark for no drivers found/expenses. Update drivers on the property page does not help.

So yesterday I spent most of the day removing all facilities OR according to the instructions, I found in this forum. Then I reinstalled the software OR in the order following, restarting after each installed:

    (1) LabView 7.0

    (2) DAQ 8.0.1

    (3) NEITHER-488. 2 (v2.30)

    (4) connected USB-6501 first. The installation of the device has gone well and is now detected to the MAX!

    (5) connected GPIB-USB-HS. Scanned for changes on the hardware, peripheral GPIB presents itself to the MAX, but with a weird name announcement its INF file on his behalf. See the screenshots below:

    GPIB device incorrectly installed:

    GPIB device properly installed:

The strange thing is that this GPIB device was fully functional on my previous installation (see attachment max_report_3-23 - 11.pdf), now reinstall after its unusable (see attached max_report_3-24 - 11.pdf). Looking for GPIB instruments to help Max returns no result, but if I reconnect GPIB-USB-HS to the old system of PC all instruments are detected (for instrument scan error message see attached MAX after reinstall.jpg).

That my new problem is not related to USB-6501, maybe I should open a new forum thread.

  • Logitech clicsmart 310 does not install on Windows 7

    Original title: logitech clicsmart 310

I tried to install the required software for that camera, but I couldn't get the camera does not respond.

I recently installed win 7, but I couldn't install it

    Hello

    1. You receive a code error message when you try to install the software of Logitech camera 310 clicsmart?
    2. Exactly how you try to install the drivers (CD/DVD or download)?

From my research and the information provided on the site of the manufacturer (Logitech), the software available for the camera is not compatible with Windows 7.

The driver software is available for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows 98

I recommend to install the camera in Windows XP compatibility mode driver.

Follow the steps below to do the same.

    Step 1:

Download the drivers from the manufacturer website link provided below.

    http://www.Logitech.com/en-CA/support/3402?OSID=14&bit=32

Note: Select Windows XP from the operating system drop-down and download the drivers.

    Step 2:

Once download you the drivers, install them in compatibility mode.

Some older programs might run poorly or not at all. If a program written for an earlier version of Windows does not work, you can try changing the compatibility of the program settings, either manually or by using the program compatibility problems.

Refer to the provided article below for more information on how to run a program in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

  • Logitech USB Headset comfort micro works with XP, but not with Windows 7

Hello.  I recently got a new computer with Windows 7.  I also have one with XP Pro.  My Logitech Comfort USB headset works great with my XP computer, but the microphone on my headset does not work with my computer of W7.  The headphones work fine, I can hear loud and clear.  There is no problems appearing in Device Manager.  Windows installed all the drivers when I plugged it in, it recognizes my helmet and said that it works correctly.  I ran the function of problem solving and it's supposed to be working very well.  Plug into my XP computer and it works fine.

I tried several 'solutions' Troubleshooting over the few days without result, including the verification of all the sound levels (all 100%), ensuring that drivers is common (they are), to tweak the settings sound in various ways, (possibly reset to defaults), making sure Windows is up to date, blah blah blah.  The Compatibility Center Windows says that my helmet is compatible with W7.

I looked everywhere and, with the exception of when someone has their Mute microphone or set low volumes, there doesn't seem to be a response to this problem, but there are a lot of people who have this and not only with Logitech headsets.

Logitech forums say that it is a Microsoft problem, W7 has a compatibility problem.  I don't know what else to do to get my microphone to work.

I would really appreciate any suggestions beyond the ones I've tried.   Thanks in advance.

    Moki

    Hi Moki-mo,

The headphones came with the installation software? If so, install the software on the Windows 7 computer. If this does not resolve the problem, visit the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to make sure that the headset is compatible with Windows 7.

On my old XP computer, whenever I plugged my Logitech USB headset, they are automatically detected and enabled, the its path from the speakers to the headphones when the pc has detected the and back to speakers when headphones unplugged, without me having to enter anything. If everything is OK and right drivers all USB ports should work. You cannot install the drivers for each port separately and force one of them to work properly. On this machine, all three ports are the same USB2.0 ports.

    Try reinstalling the chipset utility.

By the way: two other ports work well, right?

  • Compaq cq20 205tu - headset does not work

I just bought this laptop 3 days ago.

the speakers are ok, but when I tried to listen to music using a headset, it doesn't! I went to the portion of sounds in the control panel to check if my headset does not work. He says he works. to check this further, I used the option "test" of the computer. I heard the beep on my left and right ears. but when I try to listen to music and watch videos, only the speakers are workin, NOT my headphones.

Please do help me. I don't really know what to do.

    Thank you!

I think that you have Vista.

Looks like your earphones must be defined for the playback device by default because your speakers are still to play the audio.

There is a white speaker icon in Vista right next to your clock, rightclick it choose the playback device and you will see the window come in the middle.

Normally the speakers to be on speakers with the green check mark.

If there is a category for headsets or USB headphones and told to work then you must right-click on your helmet and choose set as default playback device, then apply, ok and restart the computer.

    Try this.
