  I have to study why sometimes a backup process is stopped due to an error in the availability of the disc.

  For this I must produce a list of 'asleep' events 'awake' and stop to start the backup software (easeUS todo Backup station).

  I guess that this list can be produced by Event Viewer: custom view: Source... so I know more what to observe.

  For soft processes I don't see in the list of "sources of events.

  Really I can do to follow the complex process combining:

  You must identify each event ID. You can then filter on each event ID. You will get some event ID reports that have the same number you will have to throw so that the list has only those you want. To produce a list of identical reports of ID select the reports by holding the SHIFT key and by placing the cursor on the first and the last report. With all the reports highlighted, right-click and select copy, copy the table. You then have the data to your Clipboard, and you can then paste into Word or Excel. Excel can be the best if you want to interleave different lists.

  Select the check box next to "Sort all programs Menu by name" - OK - APPLY / OK.

  Hello! I know that this has been covered at the front (and I read these threads/documents/etc), but I still have questions. Forgive my ignorance!

  But virtual machines under 'Autostart' is still not auto-start. I then found that HA can be a factor (if it is enabled, you can not auto-start/stop VMs). However, it is currently in a State of N/A:

  Looks like you run ESXi 5.0 Update 1, and only in this version there was a bug that made the autostart VM does not...

  Upgrade to a later patch the 5.0 (or better to 6.0?) level to solve the problem.

• Word, Excel and Chrome all auto start to connect on my macbook pro.  I don't want these programs to autostart.  How to disable that?

  When I connect to my macbook pro, Word, Excel and Chrome all automatically load and the beginning and they are VERY slow and slow accessability to something else after I have connection.  I don't want one of these auto-start.  I'll start them if I need them.  I looked on the application's preferences, but also Apple settings and can not find any place to turn off this action.  I don't have this box controlled displays for office ("start connecting").  Any help to stop this would be appreciated.  Using the latest version of El Capitan.   Do not simply close their windows. Choose EXIT their menus. If they were all off at the stop, they should not re-launch at startup.

  But if you simply close they windows, they are still worn running. next time you start, it will be open again.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  The easy way in Windows Vista to display startup items, go to the Control Panel, programs and use Windows Defender to display under the Software Explorer startup items.
  Click change startup programs. This will display the list of programs, you can change and remove the starter.
  To determine if an item is needed or not, you can select the item, and then click on disable.

  You can also use msconfig to remove the startup items.
  ·       Click Start on your desktop
  ·       Type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
  Click the Startup tab, and you can uncheck the items you want to no longer start.

  Step 1: Search for the issue in the clean boot state.

  How to do a clean boot:

  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

  5. click on OK.

  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

  7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
