Hacked or not hacked
How will I know if a person can get into my computer?
Thanks much for me with the excellent Norton program. My system seems to be a lot better now.

Someone in the building uses Apple can 790-795 network this person hack me and who is? Berlin writes. Very often, I notice that my network does not work as it should. Thank you. I'm really not sure if it's true that Apple can´t be hackend? First because I use Google and Google mail on the same computer.
Someone in the building uses Apple can 790-795 network this person hack me and who is?
Wi - Fi networks will be displayed in the menu OS X Wi - Fi, including those created by other Apple routers. It's normal. It does not necessarily indicate that users connected to these networks can connect to yours. In particular, if you use a wireless password and change it often.

Best way to check my Mac has not been hacked?
Have an end 2012 27 "iMac, OS X 10.9.5, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHZ DDR3 & have no idea what that means I'm technically disadvantaged. I get e-mails, mainly from some places that I buy, like Sears, Best Buy, etc., that contain strange characters & symbols in the welcome message that I do not open. I talked to the Geek Squad at best buy and was informed that a person may have gotten in my computer. No no proposed solution. Last month, my credit card has been hacked. I'm trying to find out if there is a connection. What should I do to make sure that my computer has not been violated & is always so sure that Apple can do in these difficult times.
Thank you, Roger
As usual, the Geek Squad is incorrect. If you get suspicious emails then contact your provider of Internet Service (ISP) and ask for help. If you tend to use the same password for many of your accounts, including your email address and it is fairly easy to understand, then consider changing to a password is more enigmatic, something like * $Merp78@#. A good thing to do is to create separate passwords for each account, and then use a tool such as 1Password to manage all your passwords.
Whatever you do, NEVER install any antivirus, cleaning or any other third party on your Mac maintenance utility. Not only are they 100% worthless they can create havoc for OS X users. If you currently have one of these types of utilities installed please uninstall immediately in accordance with the instructions of developers.

Worry not that my account was hacked, or my stolen device found once more.
I received an email from auto to Heathrow Airport has sent to my email from Apple yesterday, account while at the point I was in Asia. It's either my hacked account, or a long lost ipad/iphone/computer laptop is turned on.
Do you know what email address to Apple I can contact to find the device that got connected and received the email from Heathrow Airport?
Thank you.
Hello, N.Dingo.
It seems that you are affected by a message about a stolen iOS device. The following Knowledge Base article provides information and additional links regarding the protection of your account and your tracking device:
If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is lost or stolen
If you lose your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch or think it might be stolen, these steps may help you to find and protect your data.
If find my iPhone is turned on, you can use it to find your device. If find my iPhone isn't on, change your passwords and the report of the missing device. If you find my iPhone turned on your missing device
You can use Find My iPhone to find your device and to take additional measures that can help you recover and protect your data.
- Login to icloud.com/find on a Mac or PC, or use the find my iPhone app on another iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
- Find your device. Open find my iPhone, and then select a device to see its location on a map. If the device is nearby, you can have it play a sound to help you or someone nearby to find.
- Activate the Mode lost. Use the lost Mode, you can lock your device with a four-digit coderemotely, display a personalized message with your phone number on the lock screen of your missing device and keep track of the location of your device. If you have added maps to pay Apple to debit or credit, the ability to make payments using Apple pay on the device is suspended when you put your device in Mode lost.
- Report your lost or stolen to the local police unit. Law enforcement could ask the serial number of your device. Find the serial number of your device.
- Erase your device. To prevent anyone to access data on your missing device, you can erase it remotely. When you wipe your device, all of your information (including credit or debit to pay Apple) will be removed from the device, and you won't be able to find it using find my iPhone. After you delete a device, you cannot follow him. If you remove the device from your account after you delete it, locking Activation will be switched off. This allows someone else to activate and use your device.
- Change your password on Apple ID. By changing your Apple ID password, you can prevent anyone to access your iCloud data or using other services (such as iMessage or iTunes) from your missing device.
- Change the passwords of other internet accounts on your device. This might include email, Facebook, or Twitter accounts.
- Report your lost or stolen to the local police unit. Law enforcement could ask the serial number of your device. Find the serial number of your device.
- Report your lost device to your mobile phone service provider. Your carrier can deactivate the account, preventing the use of data, texts and phone calls.

I clicked on see thinking I was enlarging document to read what it was. A folder of zip file immediately went to the download. I opened the case and he had several files listed, suspicious code. One who does not I opened. The person called and they said that their e-mail had been hacked. Someone had mentioned to them that it would be Zeus. Although I have downloaded zip file and open a folder which looked ok, and I did not open the file with the code of suspicion. I agree with you?

Hello
Which is called Spoofing and its pretty easy for a spammer to make.
Of course it makes it look like you or the other person who sent the
Messaging. Someone intercepted a mail and it may not have been
You causing him. Account of a friend could have been consulted
or even someone could have sent an email on your part for
someone else who has been compromised. Your friend can access to the
headers and block the real senders, although these will be changed

I wasn't there when my account has been hacked. How is it that compromised the accounts of those who have received the emails not authorized by me. Should I change to another email account/address e-mail so that they feel safe to receive future email from me?
If they do not follow all the links or software as a result of these messages, so there is no risk for them.
As for you, if you can still access your mailbox, log in using a web browser, change your password, update the security features, and you should be sure again.
If your mailbox provider allows it, be sure to enable always 'use HTTPS. That can go a long way towards ensuring you don't get hacked again.

a man called saying he was with microsoft and was told I was hacked and hit with a large amount of spam, he wanted me to sit down and go through my computor to check my problem. that it was all part of having microsoft and they would fix it. Microsoft makes such calls to its customers, and how this person found me and my phone #.
Fake phone calls to technical support
Such unsolicited telephone calls are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.
Please see:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/msname.aspx .
Microsoft does ever not requested for telephone calls of support or security.
(such persons may use names other than Microsoft as well)
They will have found your number in a phone book like everybody else.

[snipped](1) make sure that your e-mail account password is strong, don't share between multiple accounts and make sure your PC has good antivirus and a firewall. Scan frequently.
(2) it's strange looking (topic...), ask them if they sent before you open it. Be very suspicious to the links and attachments. And pls change the dangerous link out of your post. -

Hi CynH_Fort,
Since you are facing problems with your hotmail account, you can publish your application in the Windows Live forum to get help:
If you use the sharing of family, any family member can help locate the device missing by another Member. Check your member of the family connect you to iCloud with their Apple ID, and you can find any device associated with this family sharing account.
What to do if your iOS device is turned off or offline?
If your missing device is turned off or offline, you can still implement this Mode lost, lockor remote wipe. The next time your device is online, these measures will take effect. If you remove the device from your account while it is offline, pending actions for the device will be cancelled.
How to disable or cancel lost Mode?
You can disable lost Mode by entering the access code on your device. Alternatively, you can disable the Mode lost on iCloud.com or the find my iPhone app.
If find my iPhone is not activated on your missing device
If you do not enable find my iPhone before your device has been lost or stolen, you can not use it to locate your device. However, you can use the following steps to help protect your data:
Find my iPhone is the only way that you can follow or locate a lost device or missing. If find my iPhone is not activated on your device until missing, there is no other service from Apple that can find, follow or flag, otherwise your device for you.
Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.
Kind regards.
