Hi, Mike,.

Run the following in default mode first and then go back and run it in aggressive Mode.  Before running the tool, go to a clean boot state.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Run in default Mode by using the Fixit from the link below.  Restart and retry Windows Update.  If not effective, run the Fixit in aggressive Mode.  New attempt to update when finished

Don't forget to return to a normal startup when done.  Try searching for updates in normal mode.

I hope this helps.

    Hello

I saw the 0x0000007B BSOD caused by trying to install XP on a disk hard while the BIOS is designating the reader as AHCI instead of IDE. XP has no native AHCI drivers, resulting in a stop 7B. Unless the PC had originally Vista or Win 7, but it might be useful to check that it is not likely.

If the BIOS is set to AHCI, you could do one of three things (depending on whether your PC has a floppy drive)...

1 find the Setup F6 disk on AHCI support at installation time (start with the manufacturer's website if you do not already have such a thing). Watch the very hit F6 prompt early in the installation process.

    2. change the setting in BIOS on IDE / ATA

    3. create a new "slipstreaming" installation disc drivers AHCI in the existing installation disc, see http://www.nliteos.com/index.html

After the back if your BIOS is IDE / ATA

  • XPS M1330 error Code 2000 - 0141

    Hello

I use a Dell XPS M1330 like a laptop and main computer.  I turn off night but work on it fairly regularly throughout the day.  I was recently working on this subject, and he's locked.  CTRL Alt Delete did nothing, so I had to do a hard restart.  When it started, I got error code 2000-0141, does not not not my hard drive.  BIOS not found anything.  I off for maybe 15 minutes and then try again.

I can now boot windows... a little.  I can either start normally or repair mode (recommended).  I tried to fix the mode and he sat there on the screen for about 4 hours.  I tried in normal mode, and it loads in continuous (1: 00, still no start with microsoft windows bar continuously flashes).

So now I lead nowhere, but the computer does not recognize the hard drive now.  What is an overheating problem?  What can I do?  I'm working on my laptop, so I suffer serious withdrawl.

Screens with these codes of original blue title: can someone help after the reboot.

These accidents were caused by the corruption of memory (probably a driver).
Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

    * Don't forget to download any other DMP files (especially those running auditor)

    * If you are overclocking reset all default before running these tests.
    In other words STOP!
If you don't know what it means that you probably are not

    1 - Memtest.

    * Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. http://www.memtest.org

    * Boot from the CD and let it run at least 5 or 6 passes.

    * Don't forget, anytime Memtest reports errors, it can be bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

    * Test the sticks individually and if you find a good, test it in all slots.

Any error is indicative of a memory problem.

If a well-known stick fails in a slot of motherboard, it's probably the slot.

    2. Driver Verifier

Using Driver Verifier is a dubious proposition. Most of the time it will crash and it will tell you what is the driver.

    * But sometimes it will crash and will not tell you the driver.

    * At other times it will crash until you can connect to Windows. If you can't mode without failure, then you will have to resort to editing the registry offline to disable driver verifier.

    * I would suggest that you first back up your data and make sure that you have access to another computer so you can contact us in case of problems.

    * Then do a system restore point (so you can restore the system using the functionality of Vista/Win7 Startup Repair).

    * Under Windows 7, you can do a startup repair disk by clicking Start... All programs... Maintenance... Create a system - with Windows Vista repair disc, you need to use your drive installation or from the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu.

    So, here is the procedure:
-Go to start and type "auditor" (without the quotes) and press enter
-Select 'Create a custom settings (for code developers)' and click 'Next '.
-Select "Select individual settings from the list complete" and click "Next".
-Select all of the items EXCEPT FOR 'Low Resource Simulation' and click 'Next '.
-Select "Select driver names from a list", then click "next".
    * Select all drivers that are NOT supplied by Microsoft and click on "Next".
-On the next page, select "Finish".

    * Restart the system and wait as he crashed to blue screen.

    * Continue to use your system normally and if you know what are the causes of the crash, do it several times. The objective here is to get the system crash because Driver Verifier is stressing out the drivers. If it is not planted for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation.

    * If you are unable to Windows because it crashes too early, try safe mode.
    * If you can't mode without fail, try to use the system from the installation DVD restore to bring the system back to the previous point of restoration that you created.

  • Photosmart HP B210a more: HP Photosmart Plus B210a shows a blue screen with error B8145558 and restart.

For two weeks now my HP Photosmart Plus B210a was wrong to behave. Until that time, I was a happy user, but since it says there is an error in the printer and that I should turn it works again.

Putting out voltage is actually not possible using the button, as this will trigger a reboot, ending up on the same screen as before. During the start cycle, I have a brief moment where I can access the regular menu before it shows a blue screen with the B8145558 error code. 2 seconds after it is shown, a white screen appears with the title of printer error and the message to reboot.

So far, I have cleaned the print head and the connections of all dirt and residues. I even managed to start and finish in a copy process, before it gives me the error. However, the error will come, and then it's over.

Someone has encountered this problem before? Currently, I find only 1 reference to this error in Google and not on this site. Any suggestions that I could try?

    Hi @kootstra,

From your description, I suspect there is a problem with the firmware that may be irreparable. We can try a reset, but because the printer will not stay on very long main screen until the error appears that we are not able to access the menu of support, we need to reset.

I'll send you a PM (private Message), but before I do, please see the HP Privacy Statement.

This privacy statement informs you of our privacy practices and the choices you can make about the way information about you and your online activity is collected and how that information is used. This statement is available on our homepage at the bottom of each web page of HP and HP.com.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!

  • Computer stops with a blue screen with error fatal when the iPhone is connected

I know it may not related to windows but I have tried other sites on this issue. My computer stops and a blue screen appears with the message saying fatal error when the iPhone is connected. I tried with or without iTunes installed.

First without iTunes installed, windows will be asked to USB drivers for the iPhone, but I couldn't find anything on the Apple Web sites if I click No., a message appeared, saying that it might not work properly because he could not recognize my device. Second, I have the latest version of iTunes installed, windows began to recognize my iPhone but stop immediately after that with a blue screen fatal error and messeage saying updating the BIOS. Updated the BIOS of the computer, but nothing helped.

My computer runs on Windows XP Home Edition SP3, processor Intel Core Duo 1'66 GHz, 2 GB Ram, Intel GMA 950, Intel 945 GM chipset.

I thought that it requires no USB driver for iPhone on Windows or same iTunes unless I wanted to use it for synchronization or characteristics. Please forgive me if I'm wrong, because I tried it on other computers and it had no problem with the USB drivers and Windows can install by itself.

    Thank you.

    1. have you tried to connect the iPhone to a different USB port?

  • Crash blue screen with error 1gdpmd64.sys

I have a Pavilion dv7-6b78us laptop.  He started to crash to a blue screen with an error 1gdpmd64.sys.  I tried just reboot and it hangs just still a little later after use.  I searched the web and found a site that recommended upgrading the graphics drivers and chipset.  I did and it still broke to blue screen after a short use.

I decided to do a system restore then after performing a backup.  The restoration went well past (disk formatted and reinstalled to restore a minimum of software.)  I then reinstalled all the upgrades of Microsoft (with the exception of IE 11) and then installed Norton Security Suite.  I then installed Microsoft Office & Student 2007.

I fell for the same system error blue screen again.  Is it time to tight teeth and get a new hard drive?

    Thank you.

Finally, I did a restore to the factory settings that formats the c: / partition and reinstall the PC to factory settings and original software.  I then reinstalling all other software.  So far so good.  I did most of the upgrade of Microsoft (there are more than 130 of them) and that is brought back up to 10.  However, I see there are updates more that need to be installed, so maybe I have have not yet hit bad.  I think I'll install the rest one at a time and see what happens.  Perhaps in this way I know that we're causing problems.

Have you tried upgrading your graphics and chipset drivers?
