What would my monitor show that HALF my desktop background, no matter what it is?
What would my monitor show that HALF my desktop background, no matter what it is? All the icons are there, and I can change the display area (800 X 600, 1024 X 768, etc.) as always, but regardless of the chart I use as my "wallpaper" or even if I have the choice between none, 1/2 the office is white and the background color or wallpaper is 1/2. Web pages and application pages appear as usual, which is 1 reason that I do not understand the view of the office. I have already installed the updated drivers for my monitor (17 '' Dell E171FPb) as well as my graphics (Nvidia GeForce fx 5200).
Something to try... right click on your desktop and choose...
Properties / Desktop tab / button to customize / Web tab...Uncheck "my homepage" current / OK / apply / OK
If there are other entries... uncheck also... or delete them.

According to the issue description slide show on your desktop (in the background) is blurry and bigger. The question could be if there is some corruption settings or drivers either get corrupt / needing an update.
Then, I suggest you to try the steps in the following methods and see if it helps.
Method 1
Follow the steps below to set the desktop background and select the photo to fit the display.
1. open the wallpaper by clicking on the Start button , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, personalization, and then clicking desktop wallpaper.

When you find the image of your choice, double-click it. It will become your desktop wallpaper and appear in the list of desktop backgrounds.
3. under how the image must be positioned, choose to have the picture fit the screen, tile, or be centered on the screen and then click OK, you can choose here to adapt to the screen.
Method 2
If the problem persists you can try the steps provided by Zeyou responded on February 11, 2011 in the following thread and see if it helps.

My desktop background is set to cover about 10 pictures of our grandson, but quite often it is up to the showing only on two of them. Any ideas?
TRY selecting all the wallpaper images
Wallpaper, also called wallpaper, is a picture, color, or design on the desktop. It provides a backdrop to your open windows. You can choose an image for your wallpaper, or you can display a slide show of photos. For more information, see create a desktop background slide show and change your wallpaper (wallpaper).
The substantive choices of screen in Windows
Wallpaper a lot more is available in the personalization Gallery on the Windows website.
Have your favorite photos in a desktop background slide show
You have a great photo of your family that you love to do every day? Or a bunch of holiday photos that make you smile? In Windows 7, you can show all your favorite photos of your children, pets and the TRIPS agreement in a desktop background slide show. You can choose which images will be included in the slide show, how many times the slide show changes pictures, if you want to mix your photos in a random order, and how the images will be placed on your desktop.
Choose the pictures to include in your slide show.

Background is white in the Simulator version 10.1.0.1483's system Z10
Hi all
I found a problem. My application is white when running in the simulator of Z10 10.1.x.1483's.
It is OK in the simulator of Q10. Why the background is white?
Thank you.
brad_qqq
Dark theme is used by default for Q10 because it has OLED that consumes more energy with bright display theme.
You can force the same pattern for both devices in bar - descriptor.xml, but this is not recommended.
