Hate 4, System Restore tried to get version 3 back, now firefox will not open
After the upgrade to ver. 4, I had to start using for example to use the Court report sites and county tax sites and had other problems if I need to return ver.3
I did a system restore and now Firefox does not open. (Edition Vista Home premium)
No problem.
Click on "programs and features" in your control panel. You will see your old version of 3.6 it and NOT version 4.
Uninstall the version 3.6 DO NOT click the check box to delete your stuff.
Go here and reinstall the version 3.6.17: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
It undertakes to repair your version 3 and you will be operational with your old favorites, etc.
I got calls from a dozen people with this problem, and it's the solution.

Until very recently, when I want to download a pdf file, it will open automatically, and recently, for some reason, it stopped automatically opening and just downloaded on my desktop where I wanted. Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

I constantly get messages that say that I do not use the latest version of Firefox and then do not display properly. I use v3.6.3 and get this message on many sites I visit.
Just noticed that in the assumptions below - even if it thinks I'm using the version of Firefox v2.0, which is not correct.

I just updated my Adobe Premiere 2015.3. He says now that all my projects were made in an earlier version. When I hit ok to update to convert to the new version. I have hot ok. Then just a project convert box and not going anywhere after that. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is the cause.

CC 2015.3 is not an update until 2015 for CC (as it seems). It's actually a separate installation. So you can have it installed next to the CC 2014 and 2015 CC versions of Premiere Pro, if you wish.
Default cloud creative app to remove older versions when you install new ones as shown here. (Which is a really stupid idea, in my opinion, but nobody asked me).
If nothing else, you can reinstall any old version that you like. Your subscription to the CC includes all versions of Premiere Pro including CS6, CC, CC 2014, 2015 CC and CC 2015.3. Details to install older versions are here.

These links continued to work from Internet Explorer, and works again after the demotion of 29,0 to 28.0. By clicking on the link results in no action from the browser to open the link.

I saw that error and even if it says access denied it will actually save your changes. After you disable all move forward and apply then restart and see if it kept the changes.
