Original title: Remove KB3035583

I deleted the update, but while they were inspecting it, I think it's still in my system in my history how to find the files to remove it completely?

I am running Windows 7

Microsoft have now updated the status of GWX, whenever changes to update is downloaded as a new update re. It is not beyond their intrigues to GWX ineffective as well. Unfortunately we have to be patient until 29 July when, according to the assurances of Microsoft this mess will be disabled. I don't know if there is code to turn it off or we wanted yet another update to do.

    Hello

    I recently haven't been able to burn a CD with Windows Media Player (he worked last week, but not now). I get an error message "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. There is a web help option which says that to fix a link, you click on the blue icon next to the item, then click "Browse this article. But the only icon I see is a little blue triangle next to individual songs in the library pane or list, there is no icon next to the name of the playlist. Although the click with the right button on the blue triangle gives me a few options, "Browse this point" is not one of them. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong and how can I sort it please!

  • Error: "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed or deleted'

    Original title: laptop won't read the music files stored on external hard drive

    I have an old Compaq laptop Windows XP, so it was out of memory I transferred everything on a Portable Seagate (500 GB) hard drive and started to access it. It's worked well for over a year, but lately, began to stop playing my music files. Absolutely everything on the hard drive opens, however, images, files and folders, but when I go into Windows Media Player, it pops up with this error message:

    Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to read, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.
    I have not modified parameters or anything that moved. I used to be just able to restart the laptop, or disconnect and reconnect the hard drive and it works again, but now it or not will be not at all, or it will cut off half way through a song and then not to play anything more.
    I can't find any support for this problem because the phone reads that the hard drive is there, and everything else works. Only the music doesn't. I tried to play music on a connected USB and it works fine. I'm so confused!

  • How to move the FILE from one place to another and keep "Indexing" have to move to the unknown location so you can't discover its full file path? Windows instructions provide information wrong re: how to do this!

    Make a bunch of audio files, placed in a folder on my desktop. Files initially sent to RealPlayer to burn, but when finished burning CD and went to read a CD, folder got seized by Media Player, 'Indexed' and disappeared from the office. I'm a relatively new computer user, and I need to learn more about file paths, how to view the path FULL of a file on my computer and how to type (create) full path when I need to. The "Indexing" feature seems to erase this lesson for me, and after having spent four hours trying to find Vista instructions on "How to move the file from one place to another", I gave up! Windows 'Help and Support' on my computer gives wrong directions. It states that if I right click on a folder > properties, a dialog box opens with a tab by which I can move my account. There is no tab location here. I found locations tab when right click on the "Mobile" folder, but still no option to "move file". No idea what is the folder "Roaming" or why it's on my computer. I want my audio files in the My Music folder, but this place is "access denied." Don't know how to get the audio file it in any case, but if anyone has any advice, I would be very happy! Thank you. PS - I had no problem moving folders in XP. I don't like the idea that a computer is to decide where to put my files. I want to control where I put my files. I don't like the way search works under Vista. I liked the XP search companion better because, for a computer fool like me, it was really easy to organize and find files and folders and had an option specific to find audio and video file TYPES.

    Here is an article on how to move your personal folders in Vista: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/moving-your-personal-data-folders-in-windows-vista-the-easy-way/.  If you're talking about the special folders (such as photos, Documents, office...), then here is an article on how to move: http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/95/1/How-to-move-the-special-folders-in-Windows-Vista.html.

    If you have trouble with the search after you move the files, then rebuild the index: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2103/vista_rebuilding_the_search_index/.  Here is an article on how to use Indexing Options in Vista that may be useful for you: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/69581-indexing-options.html.

    If the above does not help, your problem seems to relate to the image of the files/folders and their interactions with Media Center (which operate on different other folders).  Please repost your question in images and video Forum at: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistapictures/threads where the people who specialize in issues of the image will be more than happy to help you with your quesitons.

    c. Select Windows turn on or off features in the left column of the window programs and features.
    d. click on the plus sign next to multimedia functions.
    e. uncheck Windows Media player and then click OK. (You may receive a warning message. Click on the Yes button.)
    f. restart your computer.
    g. to reactivate the Media center follow the same steps and place a checkmark for Windows Media player.
    h. click on the Ok button.

  • Can not find the file of exported data

    I have exported databases using EAS and cannot find the files.

    Have you tried to name the file without an extension, as well as including a .txt extension in the name of the export file. In each case, the le panneau panel message confirms that the 'export data... succeeded. "

    Yet, when I try to perform an import, the file I created is not anywhere in the server, directories of application or database appear in the dialog box for EAS.

    I'm sure I'm forgetting something obvious, but documentation did not help, either.

    Advice woud greatly appreciated.

    What version are you on anway file must be where essbase is installed, it will be in \app
    If you want to import then move from the to \app \app\appname\dbname

  • How to find the number of data items in a file written with the ArryToFile function?

    I wrote a table of number in 2 groups of columns in a file using LabWindows/CVI ArrayToFile... Now, if I want to read the file with the FileToArray function so how do I know the number of items in the file. during the time of writing, I know how many elements array to write. But assume that I want the file to be read at a later time, then how to find the number of items in the file, so that I can read the exact number and present it. Thank you all

    Hello

    I start with the second question:

    bytes_read = ReadLine (file_handle, line_buffer, maximum_bytes);

    the second argument is the buffer to store the characters read, so it's an array of characters; It must be large enough to hold maximum_bytes the value NULL, if char [maximum_butes + 1]

    So, obviously the number of lines in your text tiles can be determined in a loop:

    Open the file

    lines = 0;

    While (ReadLine () > 0)

    {

    lines ++;

    }

    Close the file
