  Have you changed some settings or perhaps updated driver WLAN? I mean, I can't imagine that problems start without reason.
  It is not easy to say what may be the problem. Perhaps, you must reinstall the recovery image and test the feature with the factory settings.

• Having problems connecting to the Internet

  Hello, one and all!

  So, as of late I had problems connecting to Internet.  I can connect to the connection itself very well, although it shows as "Limited".  The thing that bothers me the most is that this problem is intermittent: some days, it appears, some days I have no problem with the connection to the Internet.
  I have tried all the following:
  -Reset the wireless network adapter
  -Contact network administrator (the link in question is a WiFi connection library; I'm the only one to have this problem, is not the connection itself)
  -Enabled Windows Update for updates and install them
  -Reset my computer
  At one point, I was getting an error message that says "Windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server).  I took measures to fix that (checked the option 'DNS server automatically get an address' under the screen properties V.4 IP (TCP/IPv4)), and now it's just going back to tell me that the error is with the network (which is not the case) or the wireless adapter (which I find more likely).
  I was wondering if anyone had any advice.  I have not yet checked to see if my computer can connect to the Internet via another connection, but I imagine that if it is a wireless network card problem, I have this same problem also.
  My computer is an HP laptop that I bought in January 2013, and it came with Windows 8 is installed.  I had previous problems with the Internet, but in the end, these problems have been resolved with a driver update through Windows Update.  There is no such update now, however.
  EDIT: I just tried another diagnosis with the troubleshooting tool, and it gives me the "Windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server)' once more.  I still have the "DNS server automatically get an address" option checked.

  This problem can occur because of corrupted network, TCP\IP drivers, or due to the damaged network card.

  I suggest you to check if the problem occurs with a connection cable or not.

  I just got an Officejet 4500, and I am unable to connect it to my current wireless network.  I'm AT & T U-Verse so I use 2Wire equipment.  I have a Mac Book Pro, and I'm on Mac OS X operating system 10.5.8.  When I try to connect, I get an error message saying something like "Failed to connect."

  In the past, I had problems connecting my Airport Express to 2Wire.  In order to make it work, I connected the router 2Wire and changed the WPA - PSK (TKIP) security settings and WPA2 - PSK (AES) to just WPA2 - PSK (AES).  My Airport Express was able to connect without any problems.

  Please help me to connect my Officejet 4500 to my 2Wire router.  I note also that I'm not really tech savvy so I need instructions are written in simple terms.

  I was not able to connect outside of the network.

  I sprung several days trying to solve this problem by myself, then on the phone with Microsoft productivity, and some of them aren't yet familiar with Surface RT.   I have an iPhone 6s and a mid-2011 iMac that is still running on OS Lion. When I connect my iPhone, I get the message "the iPhone is useless because it requires a newer version of iTunes." So I checked that, and I am running the latest version. When I open iTunes, I do not see my camera, and all the menu options of synchronization are gray.

  We were reluctant to upgrade to El Capitan because of negative comments about iPhoto (specifically, how the upgrade removes all events that we named so laboriously since we bought the iMac). We just bought more RAM for our machine (which can contain 16; we currently have 4 and we'll be adding more 8) due to the frequent occurrence of the rotation color wheel.

  Any ideas on the cause of the iTunes/iPhone/iMac problem or how to fix it?

  You are running the latest version of iTunes that your Mac can run on your current OS X, however, is not the latest version of iTunes. 12.2.x is required for synchronization with any device running iOS 9. It is iOS that requires the latest version of iTunes, not the type of device.

  Hey Prashant.

  I see at least two things that can give you problems.

  First, the fact that you have no IP address either and that some fields (IP address and the subnet mask) seems to point to some kind of breach of your NETWORK adapter driver or the Windows settings.  If you go to control panel > network and sharing > advanced settings of the adapter (names may be a little different since I have listed memory), you should be able to adjust the settings for your adapter IPv4 TCP/IP.  Set to automatically acquire an address and restart to see if things improve.  If not, you may need to resolve more as to why this interface seems to be non-functional.  If plug you it into a router, switch or LAN modem, you are able to login and see better results?

  The other thing I noticed is that you have VMWare adapters configured tunneling.  I think that the first paragraph in my post is more important, because those issues will be insurmountable if your network interface is not functional, but once you have passed this point, you could have problems of routing/confusion on your system with these adapters in VMWare.  If you do not need these cards, you should consider turning off to avoid any problems.  This NEITHER KB has a few other useful troubleshooting suggestions, as well.

  I don't know when it started, or how, but sometimes when I search the web using Google and I click on a link to a Web site I get the following error in firefox:

  Another annoying example is Windows Live Messenger games page. Window opens with a conversation, and after that I click on the 'games' button I get:

  The most likely causes:

  * You are not connected to the internet.

  * The Web site encounters problems.

  * There could be a typing error in the address.

  Or when I'm trying to update the Windows Security Essentials program, the download bar rests almost to halfway, then after a short wait happens with:

  Virus & spyware definitions update failed.

  Microsoft Security Essentials was unable to check the updates virus & spyware definition.

  Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet, and then try again.

  I know for a fact that my computer is connected to the internet as my Windows Live Messenger works, as well as update the definitions of AVG without any problem or surfing the internet (apart from the already mentioned problems).

  I don't know what could be wrong, none of my Ethernet cables are loose and ran several anti-virus and anti-malware checks without virus or malware found...

  I fixed the problem by returning to a week old restore point. Despite her failed all other attempts suggested, just to report.

  I had a problem with my Dell Inspiron 15, wireless connection to the internet for some time now. Almost daily, some time ago when I can't connect to the internet, no matter how many times I try to connect, and if I do connect, it remains only connected for a minute or two, and then I'm back to the tent to connect several times. I know it is not my router or my modem, because none of the other computers or devices in my House have the same problem. I'm the only one with these connectivity issues. I reset my router and modem regularly, thinking this may help, but it doesn't. I changed the channel on my router and which has in fact nothing, either.

• When I connect, I seem to have lost a file. They seem to be hiddeen or deleted in the reverse order Alpha. What can I do?

  Since 28 March when I finally backed up my c drive, I noticed twice more that a file will not everytime I connect.  Don't know if it has been hidden or deleted.

  I use ESET professional and scanned my system, but nothing has shown up. I also Secunia who reported something every day on commissioning a file called Python 27 is patched and deleted every day again the possibility since March 28. I have looked for this file in programs but do not see it.

  Does anyone know what I might have bug and how to get rid of.
