Having trouble finding ongoing Discussions

How to write a good question? Hmmmm

(1) I searched the forum for "Mac Mail keeps asking for password"

* seems simple enough, because I spent most of my day trying to beat the machine *.

IMAP, POP, Keychain, smtp, outgoing, user, server, mailbox store, cunning, repair permissions, start safe mode

I've never been invited for a password in my Mac Mail, today, the two accounts that I use on a daily basis.

the two jumped to the top with windows asking for passwords. I went to my keychain, check later

Passwords and account (gmail) has begun to receive mail.

My Yahoo account, no matter what I do, it won't get in the mail.

I know that I can go to Yahoo.com and check my mail here, but you know what a drag

It is.

Yahoo offer also so "send your message in one place, like AOL, Google Mail, etc...

I doubt that I would never do.

I also have to be humble... I own a MacBook Pro with version 10.6.8 - 4 GB

In June, if the new models are unveiled, I'm first in line.

ISP told me "uuhh, can't fight CCMA nottin ' 'Yu should call Apple.

I noticed that this has been discussed for the last time in 2013... and I hope that some smarty

knows how it happened, and if there is a quick fix.

Looks like that more often, I was asked to make password changes.

I don't have a word document in a box that is resistant to fire, in case my house burns down,

I'll have my password.

Because I can't even, I hope that nobody will feel the need to copy any personal information-

We invite you to know my email address because they are Bordier.

Also, understand if this is a newbie question, and no one wants to waste their time.

Thanks in advance

Linda

When you go to Yahoo to check your mail via the Web site, you are using the same password via Apple's Mail program?

No Powerbook can run 10.6.8.  You don't mention that you have a MacBook Pro on your post, so I suggest to change your signature accordingly.  They are different computers.  MacBook Pro come new almost every year, but a lot has changed since 10.6.8 came out, and I'd be too nervous to get to a new operating system, unless you have the latest Java, or Apple iCloud.  If you do, this tip is important to read before:

http://discussions.Apple.com/docs/doc-6271

And you really need to fix your e-mail before trying to buy a new computer.

Because your email has several different accounts put in place, I suggest simplify.

Write yourself each account and each account setting you need on a piece of paper and just try to have an open both definition.  Since they are all IMAP, I hope you have stored all your e-mail on the server and not on any "on my Mac folders."  Let us know if you did before deleting all accounts?
