  Problem solved through technical support. Host file was writing code to block the Web site.

  Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately none of this worked because of this error to the host.

  Once the software is installed, it will not be removed under normal circumstances.

  I do not know if your computer is still infected and it is removed or the problem is that you can't 'see' photoshop' but it is always installed.

  to verify this, check the installation directory and check its size on your hard drive.

  You won't be able to re - install using the discs and the number of series that you used initially, but we have a solution.

  The activation for more server CS2 is no longer in service. For this reason, we did a version of these titles of software available that doesn't require activation.   I downloaded and installed Photoshop elements 12 and it works well. However, it is still a floder on my desktop called Adobe Photoshop elements 12 that contains 307 files and 144 foldes and takes 1.35 GB of space. On my drive C the Program folder files, there are 2 records related to Photoshop elements 12: is called items 12 and it contains 3960 files and 200 records; the other is called Photoshop elements 12 and contains files of 2611 and 232 cases. I guess it's these 2 folders under Program Files which contain all the necessary work files for Photoshop elements 12.

  Delete the folder on the desktop to retrieve the 1.35 GB of space?

  Hi Tom,

  Yes, you can remove the folder on the desktop as I guess this is the configuration file. I would say that to remove folder keep somewhere safe in the future if you want to reinstall so you don't have to re-download the entire product.
