  In order to take a picture of your PDF document, you may have selected "Edit > take a snapshot.

  Click anywhere on the page, then drag a rectangle around the entire contents (including text and images) showing a dialog box:

  

  Once you click OK, your selection is automatically copied to the Clipboard when you release the mouse button.

  You can then paste it into another application (i.e. MS Paint) or target any other document.

  I found several related articles, but none of them could solve my problem. I got a new computer with Windows 8 and I was going to install Photoshop CS6 on it, but then I had this dialogue.

I was able to install Photoshop with success, but there are features that don't behave the way they were supposed to.   I can't get Flash Player for Firefox (Windows 8.1).  Works fine in IE but when I try to add as an add-on for Firefox it goes to the installation manual and then fails with the message that it is already running in another application.  I disabled it in Internet Explorer in the case where the problem was, but using the control function shows that this is not on my computer.  I tried things on the help page but my menu of Firefox (latest version) does not have all the options shown as enable Java.  I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.  I already have Shockwave for Director as an add-on, but before even as I put that in it happened.
