  my audio receiver has an hdmi output. the driver idt can be used to control the output of the receiver?  I am currently connected to speakers & headset jack, and the only purpose that is to serve the receiver is to amplify the output of the laptop. is it possible to stream the audio output of the receiver through the audio driver of the laptop?

  You don't need a monitor driver. You need a video card driver.

  Go to the support page for this system and download the video driver for your video card and your version of Windows.

  But before you do this, right click on an empty area of the desktop, then select the resolution. Make sure it is set to the native screen resolution so that it fills the entire screen.

  I wish I could connect my laptop Satellite A100-062 to LCD TV.
  The TV has a HDMI input. I understand that I could get a cable to connect DVI to HDMI, but I'm not sure I'd be able to output/DVI laptop computer.

  Is it possible to connect the laptop to a TV LCD with HDMI? If so, how would that be better achieved? Do I need a series of cables converters?

  Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

  As much as I know this laptop can't stand out DVI, or HDMI port.
  It supports only s-video and RGB (monitor) output port.

  My Satellite phone supports a HDMI port output. The external monitor supports DVI and HDMI.
  I connected my laptop via a DVI-HDMI laptop/DVI HDMI cable on my monitor.

  I don't know if there is a RGB to HDMI adapter I doubt m
  But I found another solution;
  You can use a cable S-video to SCART and was able to connect the converter as Lindy - SCART to HDMI between laptop and TV or LCD display.
  This converter is not cheap, but it s about 120Euros

  Now, I saw that there is a driver for Vista called output HDMI Toshiba.
  Anyone know a driver called like this for Windows XP?
  Or does anyone have the same problem with XP but the HDMI does not work?

  My only problem is the annoying icon on the upper right of my screen. It seems that it is a characteristic of the pilot. it disappears when I step outside, but whenever I start my computer it comes back on. (closing is basically software closure of the driver, so he starts each time I restart my computer)

  My Display software allows to choose preferences for optimal viewing. You can choose the settings for games, movies, photo editing or just work on documents and spreadsheets. You can also easily adjust settings such as brightness, color and contrast with my display software.   I do not know what VGA to HDMI Cable you speak but VGA does not carry sound and your machine can judge use HDMI audio so it stops sound with HDMI, if you want to use the sound on your computer, you should disable the HDMI sound:

  Right click on speaker icon > devices back select Play

  Select use internal sound and turn off the HDMI sound (if it is there)

  You will need to enable when using pure HDMI (IE HDMI to HDMI TV for example)

  It sounds as if there is a problem with the TV\Monitor. I see that you have not specified which other inputs has the device. This would help. Call you a monitor. The rest of us use LCD screens. It is only 20 inches by your description. I wouldn't use it if it would not accept a video signal with a resolution higher than 1024 x 768.

  I am installing a driver update for HP w1907 widescreen LCD on my Vista 64-bit system.  But get the message "access denied."  Chances are it has an of these darn questions "administrative rights", but I don't know the file name and Windows search does not find it.

  So I need to download the driver for it to work. It's just an old monitor that I received from my office storage area, so all I have is the series #-CN - 0 G 8432-64180-1RCL. I also use a Sony Vaio computer. Don't know not what model this model is no longer. By the way I tried auto detect with support and it did not work. So if someone could tell me the model or just show me where the driver I need to download it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
