Five of the six updates have been installed correctly, KB2698365 failed with error code 80070570. What should I do to install this important update successfully. I'm not a pc expert and don't have no knowledge will take it the word of experts from the pc. KB2698365 is 'important', so I tried to install it several times, but always failing with error code 80070570. I've been on a boring treasure hunt for to install this 'important' update, it seems to find no will to give helpful advice anywhere. I would appreciate help installation of this major update, and talk about normal advice, how to install it successfully without failure of the error code 80070570. What is the error code 80070570.? This morning at about 07:45, 10 February 2010 my wife turned on his computer and went to the internet to perform a quick job on his site related House. She turned off the computer, he started automiatically installation downloaded 12 recently updated Windows. Immediately after, I turned on his computer and I found myself on a blue bright background that started "a problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer" after a three paragraphs of suggestions about what to do, including trying to are safe mode and try turning off (1) or remove any newly installed software , diasble (2) any BIOS options for example implementing caching or shading (which none worked, I kept being on the same page when I tried to boot in safe MODE).
At the end of the warning page, there has been:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0 X 80098004, 0 X 00000000, 0X00000001, 0 X 80515103)I tried to get someone on the phone at Microsoft. I connect with the man who took my information and transmitted to a tech person. I stressed the need for a response from phone to help you, because the computer has been totally disabled. I have an email response direcing got to a page of FAQ or on this forum. The FAQ in NO HELP. (DID SOMEONE AT MICROSOFT LISTENING?)
Does anyone else have any help to offer?
Given that my computer was NSB turned a few minutes ago, the updates were automatically install themselves. I'm afraid to shut down this computer; Then I can totally disabled unless I get a phone call from Microsoft with the definitive help.
My wife and I are each running Windows XP Home edition. She is from 2003 (SP 1? or 2?), mine is Service Pack 3.
While typing this, my computer has already finished installing updates. He stops at a certain point undefined in the future, like it or not, unless I can sit here and never stop that does not stop every time he asks, until I get an answer that works on my wife's computer.

This is a temporary solution, which removes the offending Windows Update; has worked for me.
1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console (press R when prompted to press R for recovery console or return to the Installer). You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.
2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)
3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt
4. type: exit

How can I get rid of the coding that adds more than one page to print email?
I now get more than just the sender, date, and issue information in emails. What information from "source"? Is it possible that I can print the email without printing the part "source"? I tried to copy what I would get if I printed the e-mail, but it's beyond my skill level. I hope that there is a switch somewhere that I can change to fix this problem.

Original title: KB 2393802 will not install and keeps back__
The windows above update keep coming back and will not be installed. If I check the update of victory it will tell me the update is available (no download, already installed on the machine), I so go ahead and install the update. About 2 or 3 minutes later the yellow flag appears indicating that KB2393802 is available. After the installation it tells me that it has been correctly installed. The event viewer also tells me it installed correctly. So far, in my history of editing, I have 32 incident KB2393802 cela being installed correctly.
Any suggestions please?
(the only thing I've done is to rename the Catroot2 folder and restart the system according to the instructions in MS for about 2 years for another machine)

Let me take you, you are under Windows XP SP3. If true, and only if it is true, the following might help you resolve the issue (which is common for all updates kernel on Windows XP computers):
KB2393802 (MS11-011) is an update of the kernel, and since these are released for Windows XP, MS is not those to install properly for years as soon as it is an OEM System (with OEM drivers) installed on which these kind of updates must be installed on.
To get these updates for Windows XP is installed correctly on these systems, you will need to download the update from download area:
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=a511d33a-9ae0-46EE-A225-9d97390de7d1
* Save * the file in a folder and run the EXE file with the parameter "/ o" (like "/ overwriteOEM"-seehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/262841/en-us for more details on that and other parameters) subsequently.Suppose you downloaded the English version of KB2393802 in a "Downloads" folder that is located on your C: drive. In this case, please restart Windows Mode safe mode (hit the [F8] key after the BIOS screen occurred while starting your machine). Then enter the following information * including * all blanks and the signs of the quote in "Run" in the start menu and press [Enter] or click OK, then:
'C:\Downloads\WindowsXP-KB2393802-x86-ENU.exe' / o
After restarting Windows, the update should not be reaffirmed by WU/AU once again - at least after you visited Windows Update via IE and looked for new updates once more.

Computer Vista will not complete start up once the updates have been installed
Office worked well on 20 January, until the update when you restart it should start going to black screen with cursor. I tried to fix it, but it does not work. I tried the system restore to an earlier date but gives the error. Does anyone have ideas, which is false.
Thank you
Lisa,
At this point if you have a way to back up your data, I suggest that do you so as soon as possible. Start the XP that you have installed. Then copy all your data from the original Windows folder to an external drive or a DVD.Then, to try to make this repair, boot from the XP disc and select the recovery option. This will start you in the recovery console prompt. From there, you can then run the commands to replace the sam file. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

I have everything, if records of installation/uninstallation and newspapers since I installed XP.
I'm sure that the last set of Windows updates work.
Is there a problem with the removal of old files/flies and connects using CCleaner?
If not all, can I at least remove those older files that the SP2 install date?
What problems can I hire after cleaned?
I guess that the answer to MS Office updates also apply.
Thank you

If your PC behaves properly, you can remove the hidden Windows hotfix backup files that start with $NTUninstallKB to the WINDOWS folder. There are two ways to do:
A. manually, but copy files on a CD/DVD first to enable their restoration has a fix must be removed thereafter. Now delete the folder \WINDOWS, but leaves the orphan entries to add / remove programs intact. Remove only the $NTUninstallKB files that relate to corrections, not those for applications such as Word, WMP, etc.. In addition, DO NOT DELETE THE folder$ $hf_mig.
B. my preference goes to run a script that also removes the corresponding entries in Add / Remove programs. Once they are deleted by the script, they cannot be restored. Download, extract and run this little scripthttp://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_hotfix_backup.htm creating a system restore point first just in case something goes wrong when the update of the register.

I keep getting guests for the same updates, even if the history of the update show updated - KB2538242 Microsoft Visual C++ +, KB2478660 SPI of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and KB2478663 .NET Framework 4. I had an error message whenever I tried to update. For example, after continuing get guests for several days, KB2538242 Microsoft Visual C++ + has been presumably updated 18 times different of June 6 / 17-6/23/11. I had just clicked on update guests without checking exactly what specific updates have been involved. How to prevent update messages for updates that have probably been installed successfully?
