  I've seen several threads, discussing how to get names on the column headers in the data output dynamic in a file and thought I'd give a simple example of how to do it.

  The example generates a Y = 2 X 2 data flow and sends them to a XY Chart and an output text file.

  It is necessary to convert the dynamic data to a waveform and waveform VI attribute allows you to add the attribute named NI_ChannelName.

  The waveform is then converted into dynamic data.

  It's the solution, I developed and confirmation of more experienced users would appreciate it if this is the best way.

• SQL Developer: How to copy the data with the output grid column headers?

  I use the 2.1.1.64 Version.
  
  I run a SQL query, down the results grid in the "Query result" window below. Say that I get 10 rows returned, with 5 columns.
  
  I want to copy this whole grid, as well as the names/column headers to the Clipboard. If I can stick under the original query to document the results of this query.
  
  I can't find any way to do this. I can copy/paste the results grid, but it does not copy the headers.
  
  The only way I think to do is to go through many steps to export in a TXT file, then paste that. Unfortunately, that's a lot of steps wasted if I need to do it again and again, and more, the output is pasted in an ugly format with double quotes, etc..
  
  It seems that the easiest feature is copy and paste the entire grid of the results, and of course, you could the headers. Why is it so difficult/impossible to do?
  
  (I think that the toad has the same problem. DBArtisan lets you copy and paste the results together, as well as headers, however.)

  Shift-Ctrl-C will copy the headers of columns as well as the selected data.

  This is probably because you have more than 1 WWN, and therefore the variable $out will be an array.

  The decimal separator of your OS comma an EST. So either you replace it with a point or you replace the %f in your code by %; % f:.

  I'm running 4.0.0.12 on Mac OS X 10.8.4, and I can't copy in the window "output of the Script.  What I do on a regular basis, it's generating some SQL code by using a SQL query, so I want to copy the output and paste it into the spreadsheet so I can run.  For example:

  I'm running a particular piece of SQL with bind variables. The goal is to get the execution
  plan using DBMX_XPLAN. DISPLAY_CURSOR.
  
  To get the variables and bind the values of the variables in make them work, I found that I have to select
  instructions in the worksheet, and then press F5.
  
  It's working very well, but the question I have, is that this SQL data returns more 60 000 rows.
  
  I don't want to see the lines, and in addition there are limits on the number of rows can be displayed
  in SQL developer.
  
  Is there a way I can delete the results of the SQL query that appears in the output window of the Script?
  
  I tried:

  But nothing makes no difference. Surely I can stop behaving this way? Any suggestions?

  Hi Paul,.

  I don't believe it. Same queue the result of a query (whether inline or embedded via @.sql) does not output to the spreadsheet results pane. And internally, to explain the Plan and auto-trace, Developer SQL uses dbms_xplan.display instead of display_cursor.

  Probably your best bet is to reduce total output via Tools | Preferences | Database | Worksheet | Max lines to print in a script. That the setting does not affect the SQL sent to the database, it just limits how the SQL Developer result set that bothers to display when you run Script. Any information you get from display_cursor should be affected. Of course, the worksheet sends many other SQL to the database, that you don't see, so based on the default behavior of 'Look the last cursor' will not work. I assume that you have already taken into account for this.

  This is probably an easy question... Below is an example of the query, that I am running. It generates output in a standard grid similar to this:

• Does anyone have a work around for the design on PowerMac G5 2005 flaw that causes noise interference on the outputs? (Audiophile, sound engineer)

  OK, here's my problem - I have a set of audio interface Protools Digi 002 via Firewire 400 on a PowerMac G5 I was lucky enough to be given last year. I finally managed to connect my home recording studio system, he wire of mixer etc, but when I listen to the music coming from the outputs of the Digi 002 there in a great cacophony of audio interference, so much and so well, when I mount the system I can move my pointer between two monitors and it plays a different frequency of buzz. Everytime I open a window, Soft etc it is more electronic noise.

  He took a while to limit, but after reading this excerpt from wikipedia, it seems that it was a fault common to this particular model until Apple released the revised version of the B of the G5 (?);

  Well, that's no euphemism - in fact it makes the mac completely useless for my needs, I need the outputs clean digital noise to send for outboard effects/EQ/etc.

  As it was a common fault, I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on a workaround solution, as I can't imagine recording ground studios just stop until this has been fixed by releasing a new G5?

  The only idea that I came up with so far is to buy a transformer of isolation, but I'm not entirely convinced that will solve the problem?

  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

  The first versions of the dual processor G5 have problems of noise . The first is ground loop- based interference,^[5] , which causes sometimes analog audio output sound leaks. This bug has been fixed in Rev. B G5.

  The second problem of noise came from his "tweets", which can be triggered by power fluctuations. For example, display or hide the Dock makes a short beep. Many blamed the power supply used in the G5 as the cause, but this theory has never been confirmed. A very effective workaround is to disable microprocessors 'siesta' using Apple CHUD Tools, but this was not recommended by Apple. This noise problem has not set until the generation of dual-core G5s was produced, but it does not affect the model of "Late 2004" (at least there have never been reports). Draw of power fluctuation has been later attributed to the lack of power management features in processors simple heart. ^[6] Apple eventually posted information bug tweets on its support site. ^[7]

  Just one last note on the use of CHUD tools to disable the 'Nap' on the G5 Dual functionality: restart your machine reactive 'Nap '. You may have already seen this on the Apple forums. Kind of a bummer - although I rarely shut down my machine. In any case, running with 'Nap' off today seems to have resulted in a significant increase in general speed/responsiveness for me (I'm still running the stock 512 MB RAM, with another 1 GB on the way).

  In recent weeks the sound driver of my A660 behaves strangely. The built-in speakers are fine, the problem appears when I plug a cable jack, either if it's a listener or a 2.1 speakers. The system realizes I have something connected, the built-in speakers remain silent (as well as the unit on the output jack), and when I take off the cable jack built-in speakers running again. The problem is clearly with the software/driver, as it appears only in the windows, everything works fine under Ubuntu.

The audio output suddenly disappeared and when I went to the 'exit' sound in 'sound preferences' the only thing that would show was the headphones.  After that I tried a couple of things suggest that 'Helping Apple', sometimes in digital form & everything that happens you can't change for something else.  Things I've tried suggested by Apple press help were the "Shift control option buttons & button / stop at the same time."  or press the Option, the command, the P & R key as soon as possible after you have pressed the button On.  Hold down until after the second gong during a manoeuvre.   This did cause the digital option, but none of these 2 is the one I need.  Help

  Perhaps, it would be useful to know what that is exactly the one you need. Are get you an external speaker output or anything like that. Also, it would be useful to know the operating system you are using.
