  I upgraded to El Capitan (10.11.3) and now the calendar and Contact applications are missing. I was not iCloud used for backup or restore.

  Before the upgrade, I was running 10.6.8. I had a Time Machine backup on an external USB drive.

  I went to Time Machine to restore the applications, but they are missing in the Applications folder. Strangely, the address book more older (v9.0) and iCal (v5.0.3) apps are here. I copied them to the computer and I can run them. My contacts reappear in somehow, but not my calendars.

  I had the calendar and Contacts before the backup, and they worked normally.

  I can't find a way to download the latest calendar and contacts applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I would like to reinstall OS X from your recovery disk. I do not know what effect (if any) installation of older applications will have...

  Hi all

  I got this Satellite M55 quite a few years and until now it works really not too bad for me apart from a few minor errors here and there...
  Just recently, I sometimes have some hard to connect to wireless internet.
  It could always be connected only after hitting plugged in at least 2 or 3 times, and the connection is not persistent in time.
  When I look on the computer management, it seems the Ethernet controller and PCI Modem are missing. I tried to search and re - install drivers associated with wireless local area network and so forth, but stops the error.
  This advice would be really appreciated!

  Bassically I want to add text to a chain control / indicator without losing the formatting of the previous text.

  For a part of a program that I create, data will be transmitted to and from a serial device. I want to display this data in a chain control / indicator and change the color of the text of certain strings depending on data type (sent, received). Basically as a nice log window.

  

  At the moment, I update the chain control / indicator by reading the text and concatenated with the new string. However, this method removes the colors of previous text :-(

  Is it possible to add data to the control of the chain / indicator without losing the text previous formatting?

  I started to create a sub vi who reads a text both character and adds a new element in an array (offset color and text), if the color is distinguished by the previous character. Only problem is it seems to be quite time CPU.

  Actually, no. This means that you will have to use workarounds. Your workaround solution seems a bit involved. Basically, all you need to do is just to keep track of the pairs of end start/selection selection that must be colored in a table. Then just you loop in this table to color the text marked by the power positions.

  An alternative is to use a different indicator. Rather than an indicator of the string, you can use a table with a column. You can then set the foreground color on a cell by cell basis, and add a new line (row) will not affect the coloration of the previous lines.

  Waveform table almost it!  It is so close, it has a buffer, it will update in real time and it can manage more than 1 field... but whenever I scroll to see previous data, once I have let go of the mouse button, the cursor changes beforehand... can not to analyze my data like this (and stopping the graph is not an option).

  I was able to set up graphic waveform with a buffer, the credit goes to chilly charly from this forum for this solution... which was also so close, but I was not able to chart more than a plot with this stamp...

  I enclose the waveform graphic solution that works almost... except no multiple locations.  There are also under screw function... which is fine if that's what it takes, I thought that there could be a simpler solution... the waveform is so close.

The every thing must have himself installed in the first place. I took my mom (she died in June) and my brother on this PC as users so even if they do not use this PC supports multiple users.     OK I tried everything and nothing works! Only added beginners are updated browser Opera 10.63; IE9 (Beta); Firefox 3.6.12 and Google Chrome 7.0.517.41 and Java 22. Of course like everyone else in the world, I had to uninstall/enable and disable/download again and reinstall new Adobe Flash 10 and 11 of the shock wave and they keep crashing too! Hello 4 keep screwing browsers and now I get connection network problems. I run Comcast doctor and did everything it said to do, but nothing works. Oh and I added 7-Zip and WinZip also.   My computer crashed so I had to use my recovery disks that are about 8-10 years. When I reinstalled Windows service pack 2, the system recovery tools and several other microsoft tools not have installed on my system. Is it possible to recover these tools? The command prompt tells me that they are not on my system and get help from the Server Manager in the service (Net HelpMSG 2185) option. Can you tell me what that means and if/how I can do this?  I can't find a tab from the system restore on my computer. I guess that's because I have more access to these tools. My messages when I try to update things like Windows Media Player tells me that I can't set a date of restoration and that if I lose my installed programs that they can not be recovered. Guess that means I have to use my recovery again disks?
