Headphones Sennheiser / Volume (help?)

Hi people,

I bought a set of Sennheiser phones/mic on Amazon recently for use with my Dell Inspiron 3737 on Skype, You Tube, etc.

http://www.Amazon.co.UK/GP/product/B006ICUU0O/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&PSC=1

I'm not quite sure here, but in my opinion I don't think that the volume is quite strong enough.  I would have thought that with the cursor on the complete snub helmet as well as the output on my Dell PC to 100% level would be extremely strong.  But this isn't the case.

Is there something else I need to put in the Audio section of my PC?

Thanks in advance!

TA,

Paul

Paul, when you watch the playback of the sound properties (like the capture screen below, but your should have a usb device), do a right-click on the helmet or a usb device and select Properties, then the levels tab and adjust the volume.

Do the same on the recording tab to adjust the level of the microphone.

Make sure that your music player application volume is all the way to the top. In Skype, go to tools > options > audio settings.

The Communication of the sound Properties tab. You can see the "status quo" here unless you want to audio levels lowered during communication.

That's all you can do on the computer. A usb headset has a "sound card" edge and the amp so its own equipment is primarily responsible for its volume.

Open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select Properties.  Click the driver tab and then click on "update driver".  Select "Browse my computer for driver software", then "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.  "High definition Audio Device" left click once to highlight, then click the next button to install it.

  • {A} N5110 INSPIRON internal speakers/headphones crackle. Help, please.

I bought my DELL laptop just a week ago and I noticed that whenever I play music or any audio speakers sounded funny and crunches. I tried to put on the helmet, but always the same. I think it has to do with the sound card, because I tried all troubleshooting and audio settings but the problem still exists. I even tried a couple of headphones but there is no change, it still crackles. It's really annoying and at the same time frustrating.

OK, I tried to install "Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology" as advised in the forum, but I can still hear the sound of Choppy/jump.

    (5) uncheck the box next to 'turn on Net Guard

Disable power management systems. There may be several diagrams on a laptop, that is for the operating system, for the graphics card, audio, etc... I don't know where they are on your model.

Check if there is one for IDT audio. Go to start > Control Panel > IDT Audio Control Panel > advanced power setting, etc.

On some models, you can disable 'Enable Dell Extended battery dead' in the battery meter window.

You may or may not be those that I mentioned, and there are probably others that I don't know.

In addition, go to the properties of sound and under the control of tab "Improvements" "disable all sound effects.

Well, you must make sure that the speakers are set as the default audio device. Try the following.

    1. Click Start, type 'Sound' and press ENTER. This will open the sound preferences window.
    2. Click on the speakers and the "set as default" button down.
    3. After you click OK, restart your computer.
    4. Display the result.
  • Unable to connect to headphones Sennheiser MM 100 bluetooth on x 230

I have a x 230 laptop with bluetooth. I activated the bluetooth radio and tried to add my bluetooth headset. Whenever I add a bluetooth device, my helmet is not discovered. My bluetooth on my laptop found other bluetooth devices, so I know it works. I connected my bluetooth for my iphone Bluetooth headset and it works. So I think there is a problem of compatibility between the two. My friend has tried using its windows phone to discover that the helmet and that also didn't work.

  • iPhone 6 variations of volume when using headphones

I set the volume on my phone less than half for the ringtone, but when I use a headset (bluetooth or wired) I increase the volume to listen to my music, and when I disconnect the headphones, the volume remains at the top level.

I thought that the iPhone would detect this change and restore the volume accordingly, in the same way that I can adjust the volume for each device speaker/headphone on my iMac.

Is it me being a bit max, or I missed something?

    Thank you.

    On your iPhone, go to:

    Settings > sounds

In the Middle, there is a section "RINGER AND ALERTS.  You can adjust the ring volume and disable the option "change with the buttons".  This should keep your ringtones at the level of the whole but allow you to adjust the level of the music with the buttons on the side.

  • two profiles/levels of audio volume for headphones vs built-in speakers like Macbookpro

    Hi all

As in my macbook pro, can I make the computer don't forget the volume for headphones and speakers integrated levels?

Headphones: 10 volume, volume integrated speakers 25 etc. If I remove the headphones, the volume is expected to increase to 25 and when I put headphones, it should decrease by 10 new... ! is not necessarily 10 and 25, it's just to get an idea... !

Nevermind, it works like that already, cannot remove this question well.. !

    Hello

It may be worth trying the following to see if that helps the issue at all.  Do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "playback devices".  Left click the device once to highlight default (it is usually 'speakers and headphones') and then click the properties button.  Click the enhancements tab and put a check mark in the box "Loudness equalization.  Click on apply to save the changes and then click OK in all other windows and see if that helped.

  • Notebook Compaq CQ50 - 107NR PC-not to sound of the laptop without headphones

No sound from the laptop without headphones... help?

Until today, I was perfectly able to hear the sound in my Compaq CQ50-107NR notebook PC with or without headphones plugged. I have not upgraded or anything and I don't know how to fix it. It shows everything works well, but is not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi rajiv puri,.

Because that did not fix the issue, I suggest delete and then install the sound card and check.

It may also be that the sound card may be disabled in the BIOS, probably only the edge can work.

This problem has already appeared once when I bought this laptop - about 4 months ago but then it dissapped unexpectedly and worked well.

Also searced this forum - seen people have similar unsolved problems with desire - for one the problem disappear also the 'magical '.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

    Try the following.

First of all, disconnect all external devices.

Then download IDT Audio Setup on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56900.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop and unplug the power adapter.  Keep the beats and the button / stop for 10 seconds.  Plug the power adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click set as default.

Check if your headset is working.

    Kind regards
