Heat source connected to power supply continuous

I am currently trying to simulate a circuit with different op amps connected together. Input voltage, that I use to start amplifier is a low voltage supply. My problem arises when I want to induce noise in the input voltage. I tried to use the source of THERMAL_NOISE connected to the DC supply, similar to two different power supplies in parallel. However, when I try to run the simulation I get an error of convergence. The circuit works quite well with just the DC source or just the source of thermal noise. When connected together, something goes wrong. Someone at - it never had a similar situation or know a good work-around? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you have two sources n parallel, it can cause the error of convergence is a SPICE.  To correct the problem add a little resistance at between sources.

I do not think that the noise source will make a difference in this case, most of the SPICE models model noise.

  • connect the power supply to the doors

    Hello

I don't use logic (74HC and other HCT... CMOS) gates that often, but when I use it connects not always the same pattern and provision.

When put doors on my diagram, there is no visible electrical connection, so I can not connect myself.

for example, I have a Council with two parts divided by optocouplers, allows appeal an entry and part of the output.

The input part has its own power supply 5V, and the fact the part output.

When I place a HC138 on the entrance and the other on the output, how to hit their supplies (in a simple way)?

    Johan

Right click on any door, the properties, the pines, you see the VCC and GND in the layouts of the cell, click the cell and type the name of net as + 5V or whether your power nets are there.  It will then connect them as you wish.  Its a bad system, but it works.  There should be a door of indicated power, but for some reason, OR don't come this way and it is very annoying and in the land of PCB, can be a vital mistake if care is not taken to this 'small' detail.  Kind regards

  • Connect the power supply for NI UMI 7772

    Hi friends,

I'm trying to connect a UMI-7772 on P70530 drive to control a stepper motor

It is written in the manual that came with UMI - 7772, that: after connection + 24V terminal lead and ve - V to Terminal C, V terminal must be connected on V_iso C connector for terminal C_iso.   I was wondering if that means I have really physically connect terminal V V_iso and C_iso terminal C on the NI UMI-7772 map?

The question arose because it seems unnecessary to make the external connection, it could have been easily connected internally to the plant itself?

    Thank you

    With respect,

    Partha

    Partha,

Viso and CISO are used to power external systems such as switches and sensor detection and fault (I highly recommend the use of an emergency stop switch). The 24 v supply is used to power the UMI himself. If the external circuit uses a different voltage of 24V, you can define Viso to this voltage (in the range of 5V to 30V). If you do not switch/sensor external, you must connect as you said in your post, you can always power external devices, but they are not isolated from the internal circuits UMI you can meet ground loop problems. The connection is not made in-House have isolated the available power source.

I have a T630 I need to connect a K1 of grid. The condition for this came after that the server has already been delivered, so my sales representative has also ordered a power kit to go with the GPU. • Satellite L300 booted on battery but not on power supply

I have a problem that has developed with a computer for daily use about 3 months ago.

When the computer is connected to power at startup, the computer starts at halfway in Windows XP with the first XP screen and then it sounds like the disk hard knocking and stops and then the screen stops and shakes with a lot of lines and bands in the screen and the distortion and the machine hangs.

I must then hold down the power button and restart.
I can then start it in safe mode.

If I have the computer on the starter battery, it always starts normally and all is well.
Once the computer all them booted up, I can then connect the power supply and run it all day.

Any ideas why the machine hangs at startup when it is started on the power and no battery?
I had plugged on many energy sources and even changed the power supply with another machine, and it still has the problem.

I have loaded all drivers and the latest bios driver and display driver.

Don't you think that it is a hardware or software problem?
    Thank you!!

    > Ideas why machine freezes on boot to the top when it is started on the power and no battery?

In my opinion its definitely a hardware problem. The question is what part is affected.
I think you should test another adapter.
Abnormal power supply may cause these problems.
Otherwise if the AC adapter isn't the troublemaker, I think that this failure of the only motherboard may cause this problem.

  • Remove the battery during fixed power supply

    Hello

I was told that the best practice to extend the life of the battery is to delete during fixed power supply (most of the day I'm stationary and near a power source).

My question is, can I do this while the machine is running? Is it safe to just plug in the power and then remove the battery?

    Thank you

    Roee.

    (1) best practices to prolong battery for extended storage should be kept charged between 40 and 60%. If you want to store the battery away or leave it in the laptop will not really affect the longevity of the battery. Also, the battery can act as an inverter, which is desirable in many situations.

You can set the threshold of support under the thinkvantage power manager-> battery-> battery care.

    (2) If you want to remove the battery, you can do in the when the machine is running or you start the laptop without the battery inserted (as long as you have connected the power supply ).

    (3) If you will be running the laptop without the battery with an adapter 65 watts your CPU running at reduced speed to ensure that it has enough power going to the laptop is another system. Only the 90-Watt adapter can provide enough power to run the processor at full speed, without the battery installed.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 850-065se: HP ENVY Phoenix 850-065se Power Supply replacement Question

On point to start using my new 850se and, like others, have long-term supply concerns with the unit from 500W to come with this model. Finally the PSU will have to be dealt with during the upgrade or this power will die quickly.  I thought I could just install a Modular 750W Cool Master PSU I have to just to fix the problem from the outset for the life of the platform. I jumped open the case and power supply cables was moving to look at and check the PSU is actually 500W (it is).

At first glance, everything in the 850se looks compact and compatible with a new PSU standard - then something cought my eye. Someone else saw the connector connecting the power supply that connects in the CD player? I'm not some tech pro by any means, but I'm not completely new at this stuff, and for the life of me I can't understand what is the connector. I am confused where I am fearful that it's some exclusive HP nonsense. I have never seen him and can not find maps while rummaging around looking. My only thought was there must be an adapter for the FDD or the 4 pin connector. I hope it is something simple that, for some reason, I just never saw.

If it's something completely owner, then I guess I can go along without the cd player. It's not like I need for what these days - but would of course I would powered it so it is an option.

Help at all or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Specs below:

    Kupchr36, welcome to the forum.

The PSU is ATX standard.  You should be able to update without any problem.  However, until you decide to upgrade the video card, it should work fine.  There is a lot of power for OEM components.  Personally, I love the Corsair products.  They are lovers of quality at a reasonable price.

I just got the HP Deskjet 1510 all in one.  Is there something I need to do before you connect the power?  In the past with certain printers, which was a problem - some things you had to do before connecting the power supply or by using the installation CD. The instructions that came with it are not very clear or complete.

    Hello trainerjim22,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are looking for the installation of the new 1510 Deksjet and wonder if the thing needs to be done before connecting the power supply. You do not want to remove any packaging, adhesive tape, etc.

You would be able to consult this guide to support to ensure you are not missing anything: printer (Hardware) setting.

    I hope this has helped.

  • Area51 R2 modular power supply

    Howdy!

I need to add a Firewire/1394 card has in my new Alienware Area51 R2 machine.  I was really surprised that he does not understand this (or E-SATA) - should have looked more carefully.  I will also add a 7 port USB-3 cards from my old machine I received several complaints about not enough system resources to support all my USB devices.

However, it does not resemble any connections of power supply type Molex 4-pin cables are available in the machine.  I have power 850W and it is modular (something I wasn't expecting) and it has two free 6-pin ports.  Alienware is not seen fit to provide additional cables (unless they are hidden somewhere), so I found an appropriate aspect 6 pin to 4 pin in a cable tray.

Before I attach to it, can someone please tell me if this is appropriate?  This is the cable:

There is a connector 6 pin (with 4 of those who actually connections and two draws) on one end, four connectors from Molex Garland along the cable (two visible in the photo) and a small connector 4 pin (perhaps for diskettes) at the end.

Before I risk this connection to the machine, can someone confirm that Dell now uses the standard power supplies?  I know that in the past Dell used pinout owners who would fry a motherboard not Dell.

Is what I have above duly standard now?  Thanks for your advice.

Because it is a 3rd party device, we are unable to confirm its full functionality. However, I can confirm that we use standard power supplies.

  • Satellite L755-M1CU restarts as soon as the power supply connected

I have an old L755 of 3 years.
4 months, one day, the laptop just completely turns off and restarts as if nothing had happened.

I was puzzled, but I thought that I must have accidentally hit a button that caused his restart.
As the days have begun to spend to buy, the number of reboots has started up.

At first it would occur once a week, then twice, until 2 months ago, when it started to happen almost every 5 or 6 hours, I used the computer. Initially, I thought that this was due to the death of laptop battery.

So I got rid of it and started using it only on the sector without the battery shows but found that it was not feasible since there are frequent power outages in my area.

Then I go back to work on the laptop with a trendy new inserted battery and ac, but the frequency of reboots continued until it was happening every 15 minutes.

So I tried to boot into safe mode and everything works absolutely fine. Zero restart little matter how many time I use it. Since last week, I can no longer turn on windows normally with the power source is connected. Windows works fine if I'm on battery only.

Even when windows is running on battery, as soon as I plug in the charger, the phone restarts. What could be the reason?

I did some research online and found that some models of satellite have a defective capacitor installed called the NEC/Catherine causing similar problems.

    Thanks in advance guys.
    All reviews are much appreciated

These issues are still problematic, and they should be considered. For me, this looks like electronic power supply.
It could be that electronic power make certain thresholds for some reason any.
To be honest, I can't imagine that you can do something. All you can do is check the usual stuff like RAM, HARD or OS disc, but it will not help you issue described.

If everything works OK with battery power, it would be interesting to test it with the new adapter.
It's really not easy to say what the problem is here.

Try to contact Toshiba service nearest, to explain the situation and ask for help.

  • Re: Satellite P850 full face feels 'sparkling' when it is connected to the power supply

    Hello

    I recently bought a P850 138.
Whenever the power supply is connected and turned on the laptop case computer feels strange to the touch, and if you move your hand through it, as you often eventually do during the strike, etc., you get this weird 'static' y feeling.

When you are disconnected from the power grid the sensation continues for a short while, but soon after the case feels just like normal metal again.

I guess that something happens which is originally the case become statically charged, but does anyone have any ideas as to why what is happening? Is this a common problem?

    Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance for your answers

    Hi neh23

It's the first time I read on this subject and in my opinion its definitely not a portable common behavior I think you should get in touch with a Toshiba service provider in your country to check the laptop.
