  OK, so maybe it's not the best place but being BB10 stunts I thought that this is the best place to ask...

  Anyone know if worn apps (like the playbook or other blackberry devices) who already have ratings and downloads... Will they HOLD these ratings and download numbers once BB10 goes live?

  I ask because when I look on App World (on the alpha device) all I see is litters apps at the top of the list. Now, some of them are major ports but most do not.

  So I wonder how this will work...

  1. Apps with event will keep their side and download numbers
  2. Do you think this helps or hurts native/cascades apps (since more likely apps do not have the same 'look and feel' as BB10 app)-more on BB10 is ideal for users and BlackBerry, but what new developers of cascades?
  3. How will this affect the Built for BlackBerry program (are transferred apps really build to BB10?)

  Just curious to know your opinion.

  I want to move my old 8900 MyCast Weather on my new 9550 but App World will not produce a new license code and continues to fed the former.  I followed the procedure below has been proposed by Garmin several times and installed, reinstalled, deleted, battery pulls and everything I can think of and nothing works.    Sure would appreciate any suggestions.

  I would like to know why App World is not available in Lithuania.

  I'm a BB official client to "Bite" mobile operators in Lithuania.

  Before signing the contract to become a user of Blackberry services, person to bite no has not informed me that App World is not available in my country.

  However, eventually after I became user BB and felt that the App world is not available, I contacted my operator "Bite" with this issue. "Bite," officially said that is not their fault, and the problem is the company of Blackberry. And bite doesn't even know when the Blackberry App world uses us. Thus, they can not help me.

  Unfortunately, I am really disappointed at this point with my Blackberry, it is not 100% usable as it should. And return to my previous carrier that works with an Iphone just thinking where is none like some sort of these problems.

  First - these forums are not a conduit for advanced studies or to have discussions with RIM on any formal basis. These forums are rather a community of support to users. All official support from RIM is only available (for free) escalation of your provider.

  Second - verse forward looking for information is forbidden by the team of specialists on this site. To actually answer your question would require 1) having such information (which here nobody) and 2) revealing (which would be in violation of the terms of USE).

  However, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

  Finally, understand that RIM has no unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. On the contrary, a triad of entities must agree - RIM, wireless service provider, and Government. As the main entity to profit in this triad, I've always suspected that the RIM is not one that could hinder the process.

  I had the BB 9300 today and I've updated the BB App but now it is said that it requires the latest version of Blackberry Id and gives me the opportunity to update but it says whenever I press the update software update server is not available and try again later? is anyway to solve this pls?

• Signed App will not load simulator

  I follow along with the steps to compile my application using the command line airpackager (provided in * excellent * detail in this thread ... http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-AIR/Useful-Tip-Package-Images-Via-Com ) and got the bar file signed (correctly according to the output).  However, when I try to deploy this application in my Simulator to test it, I get a nice icon I made, it tries to open (shows the loading screen app), screen goes white, then goes back to the main screen of icons (and makes the navigation bar top with the white top clock?).

  However, when I did a build export via Flash Builder Burrito version and created my file bar (which, certainly, is missing several files because it only contains the MANIFEST.) Directory MF and air), it installs and launches and opens from the command-line correctly.  It shows that it is called "com.mycompany.myapp.test * alphnums *" for the actual_dname so I think it's always the debug version of this one.

  Someone has an idea of what is happening or what I can fix it?  Is this something to do with it being a signed application and try to run it in the Simulator?  I just submit the signed application and hope it works?  Or maybe submit it Burrito built?

  Just found the solution and it works...

  BlackBerry App World has been updated 4.0.0.63 on a BlackBerry 6 smartphone with BlackBerry Device Software more.

  On BlackBerry OS versions prior to 6.0.0.706 and the AppWorld icon is not visible, please download and install the BlackBerry AppWorld 4.0.0.55.

  Today, I upgraded my Sprint 8830 of OS v4.5.0.135 to v4.5.0.175 of the OS.  Everything seems fine, except that none of my archived apps that I got from BB App World are appearing in my world, even if the files are still on the SD card.  In fact even the apps that I've installed and running do not appear in my world!  I turned off my BB, pulled the battery and rebooted but that did not help.  Also tried to uninstall and re-install App World - still nothing.  Any ideas?
