Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. And I see that you just got a new iPhone 7 more, congratulations! Always exciting when you get a new iPhone.

I see that your Jaybird bluetooth headphones are having difficulties if the pairing on your iPhone. I definitely want to make sure that I can pair my headset to my iPhone, I use mine a lot. Let's see how I can help.

Please see the article get help to connect a Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch device, specifically these sections:

First try these steps

  1. Make sure that your device iOS and Bluetooth Accessory are close together.
  2. Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If it uses batteries, test them to see if they need to be replaced.
  3. Restart your Bluetooth accessory.
  4. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
  5. On your iOS device, go to settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on. If you cannot turn on Bluetooth or you see a spinning gear, restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
  6. Pairing the Bluetooth accessory, replace the accessory in detection mode, then pair and connect again.

If you still cannot match or connect your Bluetooth accessory

Check with the manufacturer of Bluetooth to make sure that your accessory works with your iOS device.

Contact the Apple Support if you have any of these problems:

  • You can't turn on Bluetooth or the setting is gray.

  • Inspiron 15R 5537 helmet is not recognized.

So I bought 5537 yesterday with win8. When I plug my headphones, it is not recognized. Audio continues to play through speakers. I've seen people with the question the other way where speakers did not work for them but because of helmet. The helmet is not a microphone (this is the problem?) I have tried many headphones, none of them have been recognized. I was on the last commands of Realtech, I uninstalled to try if it works. But still not a go. :(

The helmet is not a microphone (this is the problem?)

This should not be a problem. The headphone jack ("combo") will work with a smart phone earphones headphones or with ordinary headphones. The problem with taking the combo, it's that it will work only with smartphone headset microphones, not ordinary microphones.

If you had a problem caused by the wrong configuration, then re - install the audio driver would fix it. Try to reinstall the Realtek driver and if it does not then you probably have a hardware failure. Contact the technical support. You also have the option to return the laptop in the short period of return.

  • Win 7 Install - helmet does not

I just finished installing Win7. Everything seems to work fine EXCEPT the helmet. Already with Vista I just plugged the headphones into the Jack of the computer and it could intercept the audio and play in the headset.

Now when I plug the headphones into the Jack, nothing changes, I still get sound through the normal speakers. When I go in the Audio Mixer Panel and select device headphones, properties and run the test of the headset works fine.

I'm trying to use the headset while you watch a movie from Netflix. With Vista, it wasn't a problem. In addition, the headphones do not work with CD and or any other audio support.

Additional information: when I switch off the speakers, Realtek Digital Output all sound is achieved through the headphones and they work fine. Looks like a lot of extra clicking but just to use the headset.

    Hope this info helps.

    Thanks again Jason.
    Roy

Realteck has published new drivers Win 7 lately. There are settings in a driver for Win 7, that allow you to choose between speakers and its independent and mutual for headphones.

  • UZ2315Hf helmet does not

    Dear team,

Since I bought the UZ2315H monitor that I have not found a simple way to make the headphone jack works. Specifically, the headphone jack does not sound to any helmet or meets any microphone a headset/microphone combination, I tried.

The rest of the screen works perfectly in all combinations - camera, speakers and microphone - in HDMI and USB 3 connection. When I insert a headphone jack, that nothing is happening, just monitor continues to put sound on the speakers and meets the microphone monitor only. No sound headphones any device I assign as audio device and microphone device make up the operating system.

I called the customer service of Greece on the phone once, a few days after purchase, but received no usable information. They just asked me to send them my written request.

  • Dell inspiron 17r helmet does not connect

Pretty much what title says. I plug in my headset on the laptop, and they do not work. I reinstalled the drivers from the dell site. Problem remains. Anyone know what else to do? It will help if I uninstall the drivers from dell (thing audio dell) and install the realtek drivers?

I had the same problem with my Inspiron 5520 a few days after I bought the laptop, I do not know, I had installed the drivers but no audio headphones, connected several headphones, not worked, dell has made Diagnostics at the start several times, opened the page of the bios and looked around different options, redemarrees and voila , I got audio through the headphone jack. don't know really, maybe all this reminded the laptop that he has a helmet too :))

  • Helmet could not hear his chrome suddenly

    Hi guys,.

I use a Logitech G35 Gaming Headset and all of a sudden, I can't hear any sound of google chrome, it happened today, it worked perfectly fine earlier. \
The main problem is I don't see same chrome in the volume mixer for my helmet, it works very well with the speakers, and I also could hear noise else explore such as IE in my helmet.
I tried a lot of solutions, like reinstalling chrome, reinstall the driver/software of logitech, deactivation and again, to verify what is cut, defined as device by default, not those who worked.
The only thing that gave me a little hope was when I put my speakers to default and open a sound site say youtube, it starts to play normally in my speakers, and when the video is in playback mode, I've changed the source of reading for helmet and who seems to be able to solve this problem, BUT only for that specific tab , and once I close it, this problem still exists.
    Any help is welcome
    Thank you!

Everything that can be done to solve this problem?

    Hello!

It's strange and I can't say at the moment what is the reason for this problem.

First of all, you should try to update the BIOS and audio drivers. The two you can find on the Toshiba site:

  • Y700-15isk helmet does not properly

It just started last night, but when I plug headphones into the headphone jack, audio is mostly just through the left ear, with the right ear is barely audible. If I turn the volume way upward, it seems normal to the ear right, but obviously much too strong, from left to right. I tested with several different pairs of headphones that all work properly in other devices, but not in the Y700.

Anyone have any ideas on what is happening and how to fix it?

I uninstalled the driver, rebooted, and it worked again. Weird that I didn't have to reinstall but. (It still appears in the device under "Realtek HD Audio" Manager)

    Thank you!

  • Latitude E6400 taken helmet does not

I have a Dell Latitude E6400 with Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit Edition. I installed the chipset drivers, then the rest drivers until there is no bangs in Device Manager. When I plug in external speakers to the headphone jack, however, there is no sound. Test the speakers on another system, and they work.

I worked on it for a few weeks and I'm out of ideas.

Dell service manual does not (or I couldn't find) information on how to fix an audio input jack broken.

Hello. The plugs are on a track called ' I/o card' in the maintenance manual. You need to replace the circuit board, but it there are 2 different according to the graphics in the computer. See here.

  • BlackBerry Z30 taken helmet does not

I bought my direct Z30 from blackberry.com on August 12, 2014. The audio Jack has recently stopped working. Clearly, this is a mechanical problem. Headphones and audio cable for radio show the same failure, and I can feel that the cable is not connected with a nice "click" as they did originally. Is it possible to get it repaired, or do I just use Bluetooth?

Use canned air to clean the lint on the headphone jack. I saw fluff compacted down to the bottom of the plug which will prevent the headset to connect properly. If you turn off the device you can carefully dig out the lint with a paper clip or similar, but be very careful that you do not damage.

  • Helmet appear not on the playback devices.

Hi, I understand so many people had this problem, but I could still not solved the problem even after looking through all of the above.

Basically, when my headphones or earphones are connected, it does not appear in devices playback, even after that I made sure that they were connected at bottom.

Two of these listening devices work fine on my phone, but they do not appear on my reading even devices look once I plugged in my headphones.

I tried both headphones on other devices and they work very well, but whenever I'm watching a video or listening to music, the sound comes out just of speakers in the system. The same goes for the electronic speakers. When I plug in, no sound comes out of them. only on my laptop itself. A week or so, there's the sound came out as well as my laptop speakers my headphones, but now no sound from my headset at all. I tried enabling a stereo mix on my recording devices after showing disabled devices, but nothing seems to happen. The sound continues to come out of my laptop. Help, please!

If a driver update for your sound card is not the thing it is quite possible that the port where you plug the headphones no longer works. Maybe it's because the port is non-functional, or because the thread that connects your sound card to this socket has become loose.

I guess that your speakers are plugged into the back and you plug your headphones into the front.

  • v5-131 Acer helmet does not

Headset does not work with my new Acer v5-131.  What I need to adjust a setting somewhere or it could be a problem of harrdware?

    Thank you!

Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help

  • Why only a helmet does not work when plugged into my macbook pro?

I have a macbook pro 2012 middle and when plug my headphones in the headphone plug-in, and only the left earpiece works. Ive tried several types of headphones, all with the same result and then tried in my iPhone and they work fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The sound balance is set in the sound preferences, right (in the Middle, I mean).

  • Why does sound come out of the helmet, but not from the computer?

Yesterday I moved something in the audio, and now I can't hear the computer without having a wired headset. And now, when I listen to the videos on youtube, I control the volume of the video from the buttons on the computer instead.

    Hi Andriita,

-What is the brand and model of the computer?

-What changes do you have on the computer before the show?

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Run the Audio troubleshooter and check if it works.

Open the troubleshooting of Audio playback

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-playing-audio-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

Make the computer speakers as default audio output device.

    (a) click Start and then click on Panel.

    (b) click on material and audio.

    (c) click on its icon.

    d) under playback devices tab, right-click on the empty space, and then select the show disabled devices and show disconnected devices.

    (e) right click on the computer speaker device and select set as default device .

    (f) after saving the configuration, close the window and check if the speakers work.
