  I am trying to connect to Simple external storage drive and once I followed all the steps (only 2) Windows XP gave me a message that the USB device is not recognized or it malfunctioned. I disconnected everything and tried again in another USB port and still had the same error. I know that is not the usb port of my computer because I have it plugged into a port that just worked. I have Windowx XP SP2. Any help on this would be appreciated.

• WiFi radio adapter off, the USB ports does not and the Bluetooth adapter is no longer visible... Please help!

  I had my laptop Dell Vostro repaired under insurance in January 2013 after a spill of liquid.  HAAC Ltd. has replaced most of the laptop - but the return, the SD card did not work.  This seems to be due to the engineer he connects not properly and the company recommended it and returned it to me again.  A couple of months, I found my USB was temperamental - so is my built in Bluetooth adapter.   Last month - the wifi does not work for most of the time either so I have to connect to my router by wire.

  This could be a problem in windows 7 - all my problems seem to be related to network adapters.  If it's a hardware problem - does anyone know if it could be another loose connection?  HAAC Ltd. only give a 3 month warranty on parts that seems just a little.  But if this anomaly is due to the production of poor quality - that is not properly connect the laptop then I'll go back their again if they are responsible.

  By the way – there's a switch wifi on the front of the laptop - but is not currently be recognized.

  If anyone has settings that I could check that can help - especially if some inhibit the use of wifi.

  Your wifi switch not recognized is probably a hardware problem. The rest could be a hardware or software problem.

  Method 1:

  Lets start by doing a reset to coercive. Follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the notebook (remove power cord), then remove the battery.
  2. Disconnect all USB devices and the connections between the USB ports.
  3. Let the laptop only for several minutes.
  4. Then plug the power cord without connecting the USB devices. Then replace the battery.
  5. Plug each device in turn, allowing them to load the drivers of devices one at a time (plug in the appliance and wait its loading all its drivers before installing the next USB).

  The computer recognizes the USB ports? All of them or none of them?

  Method 2:

  Open Control Panel, Manager of design. Click the view tab, and then click Show all devices. From there, you can remove all instances of USB devices and restart the computer to see if the problem resolves. Repeat this procedure with the wireless adapter (uninstall and reinstall, ensuring that there is only one instance of the wireless adapter).

  Method 3:

  Create a new user account by following the instructions in this article:   http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/Windows7/Create-a-user-account . Does this solve the problem?  If the problem is resolved in a new user account, this means that the old user profile is damaged. • BlackBerry Torch Smartphone 9860 all the funcation key does not

  Dear all, I have my torch 9860 and facing a serious issue that all track pad and keys, including the menu key, the escape key, call key, lock screen and volume keys keys do not work. However, its touch screen works very well and you can write words by using the keyboard. You can also scroll by using the touch pad, but when you press keypad enter the command, it does not work. Kindly help on this issue.  I also reinstalled OS 7.1 but not sucecess.

  Please note that once push the ESC key to enter secure mode the handset run in safe mode. It measn if the leak is defective then why does device to the SafeMode pressing escape key.

  I recommend reloading your operating system.  To do this, connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  The first thing you need to do is a backup of the data.  When your phone has been recognized, click device at the top, and then click Backup.  Once the backup is complete, restore your phone by clicking on the device and then restore.  Choose the most recent retore point and load.  Because your 'back' button works for your phone Safe Mode, we know that this is not a hardware problem, in order to restore your phone should solve the problem.

  Help, please! I have a Dell Inspiron N7110 with Windows 7 Home prem oa that I try to install an epson stylus nx420 printer via a wireless router.  The computer detects the printer, but then gives me the error under Troubleshooting in devices and printers that the WSD print device does not pilot and therefore will not be installed.  .  Unfortunately, my mother lost the printer installation cd so I downloaded the drivers on the internet and still get the above message. I tried even to connect the printer directly to the laptop and the laptop does not show even a usb connection.  I completely rebooted (with assistance from HP Support) the new operating system for laptop to factory settings and still exp the same problems... What should I do?

  (2) have you installed the driver from the manufacturer's website?

  (3) your computer is capable of detecting other connected USB devices?

  Suddenly, my keyboard doesn't work. Fn keys as reduce brightness works, but turn off the sound button doesn't work at all. In ubuntu, everything works fine and if I connect to my computer it works too, but if the computer connects to it stops working. In safe mode it does not as well. A usb keyboard does not work in windows as well.

  Does anyone have the same problem or solution?

  You are right, that the view Client 4.0 does not install USB drivers on 64-bit computers.  64-bit is coming.

  I do not understand your post. Your use the FC300 to control logic - how is it connected?   Is it plugged into the keyboard via middle or did you connect to logic directly via a midi interface?  (sense are the keyboard and the FC300 connected independently.

  When you say midi notes reached illogical (those transmitted by the FC300 or those via the USB keyboard do you mean?).

  First thing to do is to circumvent the control surfaces to exclude...

  Then, the control screen the custom value and see if data midi reached logical... If his hitting the midi monitor 99.9% sure it is hitting logic.

  I use a mobile Intel (R) Celeron (R) M with Microsoft WindowsXP Professional version 2002.

  I suggest to follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.
   
  (a) click Start and select Control Panel, click on "Classic view" in the menu on the left.
  (b) double click on the "Device Manager"
  (c) expand "Sound, video and game controllers"
  (d) in the Properties dialog box of the device, on the driver tab, click set to update driver to start the Upgrade Wizard to update the material.
  Alternatively, you can uninstall the driver and then click Scan for hardware changes to reload the drivers.

  I was wondering if someone could help me on this issue. For some reason, some usb ports do not work on my computer.  The model I have is a HP m9077c with the Windows Vista 32-bit operating system.  the m9077c model has usb ports, four in the back and two up front. The four in the back work well, but the two front won't work.  There are also three other usb ports on my monitor, HP w2408, but these do not work either.   Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community. This problem can occur because of incorrect settings of Internet Explorer.   Research I found that this problem can be solved by resetting the Internet Explorer settings. Try the following steps:

  1. Press the logo Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.

  2. Type inetcpl.cpl in the Run dialog box, press enter.

  3. Now click on the Advanced tab , and then click reset.

  4. Click apply , then ok.

   

  Note: Resetting Internet Explorer settings is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings are lost and cannot be recovered.

  Hi, I had this problem for a while, when the automatic updates try and do updates and they always fail. It of as if he's trying to access some parts of my computer and not private if it fails. Also, when I put a USB ports, you can hear the noise as if they register, but now nothing comes up to open the file. It's like something in my computer is blocking. I don't really know much about this side of computers, and I don't have an antivirus running either at the present time. I can't do a backup or recovery or my computer. But if I could, can't because I need to transfer my files to an external hard drive so I don't lose my business.
