Help blackBerry software Blackberry link = blank screen

What should I see?  All I have is a blank page when I click the icon 'help '.

I use version 1.0.0.76 BBLink;  I'm on a Windows 7 PC, all date etc. removed Java and reloaded - tests, OK.

Anyone?  Thanks, Jim

HI, VF. I don't see this file in the directory at all and a search = nothing found... Yes I use Chrome. RIM is in my programs (x 86) folder and I see all the installed LINK stuff, but the help file you mention isn't here. Or BlackBerryLink.HTML (not in the programs, or programs (x 86)

Tried to run the BlackberryLink.Helper.exe file, but it won't work, even as an administrator. I'm feeling yet another 'remove program' and re - download?

Just tried to 'fix' download and received error Java 1723, DLL failed to load, contact your provider. ARGH! So it seems to be a Java problem, I'll try to fix this error, if I can.

Completely removed from Java, did a restart, is a download/repair for BBLink and the same rickety error code. Maybe it's a thing of Windows Installer?  Argh x 2.

«RimUsbDriverNT.0D7232B6_7904_4970_8B22 to repair...» "whatever that means.

I saw your post about the same here error report: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Link/Link-problem-installing/td-p/2134673/page/2

I'm going to my service provider. Spent too much time on this annoying problem, thank you very much, Jim

3 hours later: FIXED IT.

a 1723 MS forum solution:

Unregister Windows Installer and then reregister Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps:

1. in the menu 'Start', click on ' execute:.»

2. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.

3. in the menu 'Start', click 'run '.

4. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec/regserver", and then press ENTER.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • BlackBerry software I need help to recover after link uninstalled during the attempt to download the updated drivers

I bought a new unlocked classic.  I planned to spend my Q10 classic using the option of switch device in link.  I think I got the link c. 1.2.3.56 (or perhaps 58?) installed on my PC Pro Windows 8.1.

Using the link I saved my Q10 and then connected the classic with the USB cable.  The classic said she needed new drivers.  Soon, I had the opportunity to download BB Blend, link, and drivers.  I chose the option install the mixture and update link and drivers.  Installation/update failed.  I remember exactly the message error, but according to me, says he will have to try again.

I was stunned to see that the shortcut on the liaison office had disappeared!  The list of programs in the control panel Windows only shows BlackBerry Device Software updater installed.  Only \BlackBerry Link\en\help_files in the folder of the RIM on the hard drive.  I can't find an executable anywhere.

I downloaded the link and tried to install it, but after that I got the message that a newer version is already installed on my PC, I cancelled it.

How can I recover?  I would get the back link, the new software of mix and current Windows drivers required for the classic.  Fortunately, my last backup of the Q10 is there in the \users\username\documents\BlackBerry\backup folder.

Finally, I considered using the app of the switch of the device on both devices, but I could not download it.  On both devices, I got the error message: "year error has occurred and BlackBerry World will be closed."  Try to wait a few minutes and reopening BlackBerry World. "That was hours ago.  I'll search the forum hardware for more information about BB world.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • BlackBerry 10 Help! Software update 10.3.1.1565 ruined my phone

    Hello

I just updated my Z10 software at 10.3.1.1565. This update came with the Amazon appstore app, which I can not uninstall, remove, or change permissions for.

Now, whenever I try to access appstore from amazon and other applications like Skype, Viber or Tango, I get an error message saying unfortunately, "the com.android.systemapps process has stopped." It forces me to click 'ok' to get rid of the messege, only to make it appear new 2 seconds later.

I can see the apps running in the background, behind the error message, but I can't use them because the error messge keeps popping up and there is nothing to do but click on 'ok '.

Since I installed this software update, warms up my phone and the battery is drained like crazy. It would be 100% charged and an hour later, it falls to 20%

Can someone please help me solve this?

OK, so here's what I did

I followed your steps and downloaded the auto charger and I have everything I could using Blackberry link (full backup), then I slept on it to see what would happen to the phone if I just leave everything as it is saved.

All hell broke loose from there, I woke up to a phone battery drained. I loaded and it works, then it starts to give me all kinds of errors on certificates of google and others that I could not read because they just kept popping up so fast.

I decided to delete my phone. He began to wipe, then power off and on again showing the screen wipe and it kept this loop.

And I went to base and connected the phone to my laptop and open blackberry link used the software device reload from there. It took time, like 8 hours.

Needless to say that everything was gone. The phone was as it had never been used, but at least there is no error message.

Then, I used the restore custom blackberry connection option to restore what I can without the application of the system. Relationship of Blackberry had a long list of applications that could not be restored. So, I took a note to download them later.

    It worked

I always have the latest version of the software that works fine now. I checked all my accounts and I downloaded all the apps that I need and they work now too my contacts, media and documents are all there.

I didn't even need to use the auto-loader or wheel with Knowyou.

Thank you very much for your help, you've inspired this solution

  • Software BlackBerry Blackberry Link will not install on Windows 8 (64-bit) portable

    Hello

I try to install Blackberry Link on my laptop that is running Windows 8 (64-bit), but without success.

On the Blackberry.com website I download the file "100_b075_multilanguage" (have tried both hit "run" and save it and then hit "run").

After a context menu titled "Configuring installshield" that contains a progress bar (which does not progress) another contextual menu titled "Windows Installer" appears.

The first line of this new pop-up says "Windows Installer V 5.0.9200 16384.

The second line says ' msiexec/option [optional parameter] '.

There is then a load of text showing install Options / Display Options but no way to select one of these options.

Downstairs is an OK button and when I press this process stops and returns me to the windows of the laptop screen.

Things I've tried without success: -.

    • Disable the antivirus
    • Change the User Account Control (UAC) to "never notify".
    • Restart the portable computer in "safe mode".
    • Reinstall Windows 8 for the built-in recovery partition

Would appreciate any help / suggestions on how to solve this problem and get Blackberry installed link.

    Thank you, Dave.

I had the same problem trying to install BlackBerry Desktop, and I Luckily (finally!) been able to remedy.

Going around with rename the .exe to .zip and unzip it into a folder somewhere.
Open that folder, and then edit the file "Setup.ini" by following the instructions posted by user "iramjm24" in this topic: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/PROBLEM-WITH-DESKTOP-SOFTWARE-WINDOWS...

  • BlackBerry software Can can't Reload (restoration) my Q10 with Blackberry link!

    Hello

Yesterday, I tried to use the security wipe feature to clean my unit, but it took too long, and then I took out the battery. Then, the device showed a message on the screen to connect to the Pc.
I used these steps below to recharge my camera

    1. connect my camera to the computer
    2. run the software link to blackberry
    3. go to settings and reload
    4. the blackberry link found my Q10 and asked me to restore it to its factory settings
5.a message indicates "check for blackberry device software update... "and the LED on the unit turned to the Green
    6. last message indicates "There is no update of the Blackberry device software" with nearly the only option!
    7. when I press on the fence, he rises again and show the message that means that I need to connect it to the PC

So this means that I can't replicate my camera if it is noted to date!

  • Software BlackBerry Blackberry Link fails to communicate with the device

I hope that there could be some additional elements that could help with a problem I've seen with BlackBerry link. We have a user who has three computers he uses to back up his passport for Blackberry (depending on its location at the time). A laptop has started to display the communication error, it is stated in the subject line. BlackBerry connection on two other devices have no problem of communication with the phone.

The device works on OS 10.3.2.2474, although the issue does not appear to be tied to a software update. We confirmed that the user was able to save his device to the affected machine after it has updated to this OS level.

Initially, when it connects the device to the computer, the BlackBerry Device Manager does not detect a connected device. After change of the cable USB and the realization of step 2 below, the Device Manager and link show the connected device. However, the link always displays the communication error. The user is a local administrator on the system.

    I tried the things:

    1. update to the latest version of link.

    2. retrograde to Blackberry link 1.2.3.56, which is the version installed on two systems of work.

3 uninstalled link 1.2.3.56 and performed a manual cleanup of old files, such as noted in Blackberry KB35666 http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?articleNumber=000035666&language=English, to delete the files from the driver to the previously installed version.

4 reinstalled link 1.2.3.56, which gave me a perfect match for all the drivers on the affected system and two systems of work.

    5. manually created firewall rules that appear on work mDNSResponder.exe, nginx.exe and tunmgr.exe systems. The application for peermanager.exe rule created on an affected system.

6a played with .NET. The system was originally installed 4.51. I uninstalled and installed 4.0 (which is the version required by the 1.2.3.56 link). Later, I've upgraded to .NET 4.52.

7 off completely Windows Firewall and antivirus on the system. Neither touched the issue.

8 connectivity test using another profile of Windows user on this system and later another device Blackberry OS 10. Reproduce the issue with the two tests.

9 Ran through all the other suggested steps in the article noted in step 3. An oddity I noticed during these controls: under the Windows user profile, I am unable to ping the IP assigned to the device. This prompted the tests with the Windows Firewall and AV out. However, when we tested with a different user on the same system (with Firewall and AV) on profile, we are able to ping IP assigned to the device. This allows however for us to communicate with the device via link, however.

Not to mention that the redefinition of the system (which, in my opinion, is far too radical to get this software to work), I hit a brick wall with items to check then. Has anyone else experienced this problem and it is resolved through a different way? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I guess everything he needed, it had happened to a point where I thought I was out of options. We finally got this device communicating by link.

I had run across this article during my first troubleshooting http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000035829 and it is a problem, because we already had 4.51 .NET on the system and tried to reinstall it think.

I went down the .NET 4.5 system, and of course link works again.

  • BlackBerry software not able to download Blackberry link

    Hello

Last week I bought my Q10 (from Orange/Romania) and downloaded Blackberry Link (for Mac OS)

I installed and used with my phone just fine.

Yesterday, I had some problems with my phone and reinstall the OS. After that, she refused to connect to Link of BB somehow.

After several attempts to get it working, I uninstalled Blackberry link and remove the software in order to download again.

But surprise, when I press the button to download the BB link again, I received the following message (that I had last week when I downloaded the BB link for the first time):

    We're sorry...

This software download is not yet available in your country for regulatory reasons. Please check for future availability.

Please let me know what I did wrong. It is odd that the link is not available in a country where BB phones are available from the mobile operators.

    Thank you

    Cosmin

    Hey cosminium_10.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

There was an investigation into intermittent problems with the software download link from BlackBerry.com BlackBerry which took place yesterday.

This problem has been reported as being solved by our internal teams and should now be available for download again. If you still receive the error message that it is not available in your country, please try to reload BlackBerry.com in your browser by pressing Command + Shift + R on Mac, or CTRL + F5 on Windows. You can also try clear all the cache of your browser, and then restart the application.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you still have problems to download the BlackBerry.com link BlackBerry software.

    See you soon.

  • Software BlackBerry Blackberry Link cannot communicate with device

Does anybody know a solution for this?  I'm in Windows 8.

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/49672/tom1359418099212.jsp

System requirements: BlackBerry link for Windows

    Software

    • Windows XP SP3 or later, Windows Vista, Windows 7
    • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or a connection Internet active
    • iTunes 10.1 or later or Windows Media Player 11 or higher for synchronization of music
  • BlackBerry software after security wipe, BlackBerry link does not identify my backup file as valid for the device

I had trouble with my Z10, then I backed up with BlackBerry link (which seemed to work creating a file close to 1 gigabyte) then I did a cleanup of security: when I rebooted, I went through the installer until the end, then the element 'Restore' has been enabled from the context menu of the device.

When I click on 'Restore' after few seconds the bed message "no backup is available for this device.

Is there a function "no, really, RESTORE THIS FILE ' emergency can I call it? I don't want to have to redownload all my apps and reconfigure the whole device.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply... I did some additional checking and I confess that sometimes Windows file permissions are strange and mysterious to me... for some reason, Windows Home Server share where I write my backups to was ' write only ' BlackBerry-link point-of-view... when I searched and had difficulties, just pick it up and copy the file, I added my user login to the official list of the users 'Total control' on this file. , and then BlackBerry link found the file very well... now is restoration.

Sorry for the false alarm, but maybe this will help someone else in the future :-)

  • BlackBerry software expire when you try to update Q5 via a USB on Blackberry link cable

I have a problem similar to the one published in February this year and I wonder if this bug has been fixed ever? I use Blackberry link on Mac.

I can't update my BB to OS 10.3.2.2474 via on the method of air; He says that I don't have enough space, when I do - and I can't remove enough apps to free up space. Instead, I tried to update using Blackberry link, as had been suggested in a number of online articles. However, once the update is downloaded, it times out. The only way I could get to 5% is by organizing my finger on the screen. Finally, I forgot to keep the touch screen and it times out.

I tried to change the settings on my phone so that it would expire after 5 minutes, but it doesn't matter.

Is there a solution for this? Or should I just give up trying to update my OS?

Finally figured this out: do you have a security wipe, then used Wifi update and it worked fine! It seems that the security wipe fixed the problems that prevented me from using a Wifi update.
