  This is mainly my shot "Dreamscape" effect of the book - except that I show you how to blend the edges rather than darken them. But I show you step by step in the book.

  Basically, you create a track matte, using a graph of size screen is white in the middle and gradiating to the darker or black on the sides. When you apply the matte effect follow your clip and then use this graphic on a track above to set the matte effect to follow, you will get exactly what you are looking for. Just as in the book! (I even discuss the use of caches in the chapter sample displayed on this page.)

  The text I believe is a simple style using bevel and Emboss. A sample of what I think they did is attached. I used black Ariel for the police.

  Hello. I have a model that consists of a large number of small irregular dots in a diagonal pattern that I have repeated it. I need to make some sort of Warp effect so that the points at the top of the image are crushed together making them more "dense" and low points are tight and more spaced making it "less dense". This effect must be gradually from top to bottom. Essentially points to the environment will be like in the original, in the upper part that they will be crushed and down spread.

  I'm new to Illustrator and have tried envelope distort, but can't seem to find an effect that will give me the progressive change. Can someone help me please?

  If you try to reproduce the effect of the menu at the bottom that move upward and stays there for the rest of the scroll to the bottom of the site, then it is possible. This effect is possible by using the effect of Parallax of Muse.   I'm curious to know if there is a fairly simple to create the effect seen in this image. I want to talk about the pixelation effect composed of many small red boxes of different shades to the upper part of the image.

  I was thinking of real-time zoom close to an image in photoshop and make a screenshot, but I'd rather have a vector image which can easily spend in size and easy to change the color of different colors.

  Something like this can be done in illustrator without building a box at a time?

  My gradient must have powerful white with a soft fade at the base of each triangle.

  There is no way to determine from your drawing which side is "the base" of three arbitrary triangles. If you call the outsides - people not involved in the inner corner trying to make - the basics, then for all three gradients you must ensure that:

  • The direction of the gradient is perpendicular to the outer edge (not at the angle of a line between the center of that side and the corner opposite). Otherwise, on the side outside of the rectangle of the gradient will not be the same angle as the edge, I think what you call the "base".
  • The white end of the gradient should be at or to the inside of the outer edge, not beyond. It is fine if the dark end of the grad extends beyond the centre; Here's how you can get different on the three triangles of shading using a definition of Grad.

  first of all it has been done in photoshop? If so what techniques? I tried to use colors indexed image > mode, with palette > uniform dither, > model but when even does not have the high quality that these guys here got. I tried to save as a gif/png with pattern option selected in photoshop and illustrator, still no success. Was - this fact using pixelbender? or some type of plugin? in any case, really need to understand that. appreciate any help you guys can provide. Thank you.

  It took a few tries but I was able to emulate this look by working at 400% of the final size, and using the filter halftone color filter - Pixelate - applied on a layer to grayscale, inverse and mixed with the underlying layers using overlay.

  First, shoot at a higher level than the normal rate. At least 60 (59.94) fps. Then, import your images in AE or Premiere Pro. Finally, adjust the speed of playback.

  For example, if you put the clip in After Effects you would go to the interpretation of the file and change the interpretation of the images of 60 (59.94) FPS to 29.97. This will make the images read at half speed. One second of real time will take two seconds of screen time. Then you start a new publication which is 29.97 FPS. Then you could time-remapping. You will see two keyframes, one at the head and the other at the tail of the shooting. These keyframes represent time. Now, rub through the shooting and choose the points where you want the speed to change and add additional keyframes. Here's the tricky part. Let's say you want the first two seconds of the shot to play in real time, so you want the next 2 seconds to play in slow motion, then the next second 1 in real time then the last segment of the shot to play in slow motion (half speed). You would set keyframe at 2 seconds, keyframe to Keyframe three to five seconds and 4 seconds, and 6 of the keyframe at the end of the clip. Now, you position the CTI (current time marker) to 1 second, take all the keys except the first images and make them slide to ICT with the SHIFT key to make the keyframe 1 aligns with the ICT. You have now accelerated the first two seconds of the sequence so that it plays in real time. You now have keyframes at 0, 1, 3, and 4 seconds and the last one second before the end of the clip.  Then, you move the CTI to mark 03:15 (three and a half seconds), select the two last keyframes and do the shift drag turn again to compress the time between Keyframe 4 and 5 for the half a second key frame. Who's going to do.

  An easier way to do may be to split the clip whenever you want to do a speed change.

  You can also do this in Premiere Pro simply clip cut into pieces and adjusting the speed of playback of each segment. It's not difficult, but it is very difficult to make it really good look unless you shoot at a higher rate that you use for your project.

  I found this image on the internet, and I'm trying to reproduce the effect of dissolved/dispersed edge what do you see in the shadows.

  I tried all the filters/combination of filters on photoshop, but none of them work. Was the closest I've gotten using brushes custom (with a spacing and scatter XY), but it is not very effective and is not as clean as you see in the example.

  There must be a method to instantly dissolve the edges of a shape (sounds simple enough), but I can not just know how to do. Please can someone help me?
