Help me! My internet keeps screwing me.

I can't watch the videos on full screen and google chrome repeat myself "the identity of this Web site has not been verified" and that my connection to a Web site is not encrypted. What is - this and what it means?

Hi, DML_22,

It seems to be specific to Google Chrome

http://productforums.Google.com/Forum/#! topic/chrome/iAtJq-cSEnw%5B1-25%5D

The messages you read simply say you the page is not encrypted and does not have a security certificate.  Only pages where you provide or read sensitive personal information usually have the encryption and security certificates. When the page is SSL encrypted https, green padlock icon should show, and you can read about the security certificate for the site.

Slide up the center of control and make sure that a wireless connection is enabled.

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

    Updated answer:

    Try this:

The reason may be spyware or adware or... If it is unexpected, if not, there is a problem with a Microsoft program.

So try scan your pc using:

    http://www.Malwarebytes.org/ very good Anti malware

http://www.SUPERAntiSpyware.com/ very good Anti Spyware (for scanning)

    http://www.Safer-Networking.org/en/SpybotSD/index.html (for scanning)

    Hitman Pro! http://www.SurfRight.nl/en

    use for protection:

    http://www.JavaCoolSoftware.com/SpywareBlaster.html (very good for protection)

Try using another antivirus that could do! Not sure! Avast (recommended)
or scan online like Trend Micro, we're pretty good!

  • Need help solving any internet connection. This happened to me several months ago and the supplier

Need help solving any internet connection. This just started today, but it's happened to me several months ago and at that time the provider thought it was software related and suggested that I have to contact HP. I have a HP 2006 m7674n, Windows XP. For several days, I worked with HardBeatZ on a different issue that has been resolved today. However, for several days, I had been working msconfig to track down the cause of the problem; This resulted in several reboots the computer - this would have something to do with it? Also, I just started getting a RUNAS box popping up. HardBeatZ has provided a link to a possible solution to this, but since I can't do internet connection I can't get the fix. Right now I'm on a laptop with Wi - Fi for the same service internet/modem as my PC. I changed nothing onmy PC in the last days of several for the internet connection or services.  I always use eithernet connection from the router to the computer. I tried Wi - Fi today with my PC but not connect. I tried to unplug the router and reconnect but it does not solve the problem. I did a Network Diagnostic and printed the report; Here are the warnings and error messages in this report:

    1. under the terms of the bridge diagnosis; Warning: "www.microsoft.comcould hostname not be resolved (0x2afc error code). Could be the gateway or DNS problem.

    2. under diagnosis of layer IP; Corrupted IP routing table. Default route, road closures, route host itinerary local subnet and local are all valid; Invalid entries in the ARP cache. ACTION: the ARP cache has been emptied. »

    3. UNDER HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic; all three had this warning: ' 12007 connection error at www.microsoft.com: the server name or address cannot be resolved. " and the error was unable to establish a connection.

Still under network adapter diagnosis; It shows the connection status of network as "connected."

Also, I have an older computer that I connected with eithernet and was able to connect to the internet but has been disconnected because the version of Windows is too old to support the connection. But I could briefly connecting on HP website before you log out. The point being I think it's a computer problem and not an internet router or provider problem.

I read a few entries on this site and it seemed that the recovery of the system was the only solution. I hope that there are other things to try before I resort to that.

I would appreciate any advice on the steps to diagnose the problem and insight as to what may have caused this to happen. Thank you. dt2012

    Sorry... still with you... OK, we know that your network card is good and we know that your first post;

    1. under the terms of the bridge diagnosis; Warning: 'host www.microsoft.com name could not be resolved (0x2afc error code). Could be the gateway or DNS problem.

    2. under diagnosis of layer IP; Corrupted IP routing table. Default route, road closures, route host itinerary local subnet and local are all valid; Invalid entries in the ARP cache. ACTION: the ARP cache has been emptied. »

    3. UNDER HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic; all three had this warning: "error 12007 connecting to www.microsoft.com: the server name or address cannot be resolved." and the error was unable to establish a connection.

    4. still under network adapter diagnosis; It shows the connection status of network as "connected."

  • Connection/W-Fi Internet keeps dropping out

    Hello

my internet connection keeps dropping out, about once every hour / half-hour. It is not connect again by itself. It is not the router itself, because my previous laptop and other familymembers laptops do not have this problem.
The connection comes back when I remove the plug and put it again (to the router), but it is still frustrating to keep seeing your connection go without any reason.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

Can you please tell us what model of laptop do you have?

    > The connection returns when I pull out the plug and put it again (to the router)

How to understand this? What are you doing exactly?

  • Connection Internet keeps falling at random

My WRT310N (Firmware Version: v1.0.07 - LS - HND) decreased connection randomly as of late. I have not changed the settings on the router before it started doing this. I have everything configured and working properly for my small home network (2 computers, PS3, XBOX360) now my internet connection for each of them keeps stalling at random times especially just for a few seconds. My router is configured for DHCP reservations for all systems on the network so that they don't have new or different intellectual property

I checked the knowledge base and is the only help I can get with the MTU (which is set to auto)

I currently use internet to Telus (Alberta)

The router is only as maybe a year if that if I do not think it would be material go on it.

Can anyone offer any explanation for this? If need more information please do not hesitate to request additional information.

Reduce size MTU to 1365, click on save settings and cycle power to the router... Now... check!
