HELP me: Windows Deployment Services

Hello. I'm a new Builder (new system in the area of imaging systems software) and try to get a facility to take correctly.  I am using this guide: deployment guide and it tells how to install and configure the server and get you your main system (station queen) for capture. I use the same motherboard. I have PXE on press F12 to PXE.  I can't very well capture no errors, but when I installed win 7 pro I get an error "Windows is unable to complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, run the Setup again. "This is the process of events:

When I install the image that I can connect to my server, install win 7 pro and go down to the Office of the new pc. At this point I check to make sure that all devices in Device Manager are correct and that the updates of windows are updated. Miss me 1 driver and there are a few new updates to do and finish this pc for a customized version. No matter if I run updates (like 17 of them) and fix the missing driver or do nothing, when I reboot with sysprep, oobe, the restart options or a stop I still get the same error. I used the start menu to stop / restart and the same problem. In the error box I click on the 'ok' or 'X' box to close and it says 'windows needs to reboot to continue the installation', and it restarts and comes up with the same error. What I have to disable the PXE once I get into windows for the first time, because we cannot have active PXE when we move on to the customer? What is the process here or PXE has nothing to do with the error I m get? Help, please!

    Hello.

I wanted to ask you for example in Windows Server 2008 32-bit when there are Windows Deployment Service. From there you can add images and then you can install windows on the network. So I wanted to try to do it with the cd Windows 8 Pro where I but I couldn't do that because in the catalog of Sources, I find "install.esd" not "install.wim" how the server or service request, with the cd of Windows 7 you can do, but you can't do that with windows 8 Pro I have buyed haved. I want to try to do this with Windows 8 Pro cd on the network because I have 3 pc at home with Windows 8 Pro and I wanted to try out the service deployment with windows 8 when I need to install pc so I prefer to install it on the network not on cd or etc. P.S. for all PCs with windows 8 pro I have buyed them, I have license key and etc.

I use the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2008 in thw.

  • EliteOne 800 G2: EliteOne 800 G2 NIC driver not recognized with Windows Deployment Service WDS

    Hello

I have just taken receipt of 5 new HP EliteOne 800 G2 23 "no touch machines. All PC's are generally imaged using Windows Deployment Services.

I downloaded sp72515.exe that is the Intel I219 NIC driver pack for Windows 7 64 bit and injected these drivers into Windows Deployment Service and updated the boot LiteTouchPE_x64.wim file. Windows reported it went slowly and the 6 drivers concerned are all showing loaded with so much success in WDS.

Problem. When I PXE boot the Windows EliteOne 800 G2 pilot of the CARD is not recognized by the 800 EliteOne G2.

    Wizard error

    A connection to the deployment share (\ < servername > \Deploymentshare$) could not be made. The following network device did not have a driver installed. PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_15B7 & SUBSYS_8058103C & REV_31

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the driver directly from Intel...

  • Portege R700 - install Windows 7 via Windows Deployment Services - error

    Hello

I have a set of 8 Portege R700 PT310-E computer laptop on which I need to install Windows 7 Professional. I want to do this by using our company Windows deployment server (using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 to generate the image). While it is loading all software, our company uses.

I have been using the version 32 bit Windows 7 and do a PXE boot from the server. The problem I encountered is that when the laptop starts the installation of the server image. It loads successfully, but does not because it can't find the network device.

What I find strange that I loaded all R700 network drivers in the boot.wim file. I also tried to download all Windows 7 Pro LAN drivers remaining on the Intel site and load those as well as the pilot on the Toshiba site, but it has also generated the same error.

Someone at - it experience to install via WDS on the R700 model? Is there a fix for this, because we are very impressed by these laptops, but being only unable to install via WDS is more annoying.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Dominic :-)

    Hello

What exact version of R700 do you use? Also what version of BIOS is installed?

  • Windows XP Service Pack 3 help

    Hello

I know I'm late with the thing of the installation, but I tried to install the Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 two days ago and my computer has been running a muck. Installation is complete and asked to restart, I restarted my computer and it take me to the Windows XP start screen, flash a blue error message and continue in an infinite loop.

Now, my computer won't let me log into my account. Instead, I logged into safe mood and tried to uninstall the service pack. However, when I try to uninstall, a message tells me that the file is not found.

I also tried to use the system restore process, but when it gives me the calendar what day choose, it allows me to choose that day I'm in and the "installed Windows XP Service Pack 3" isn't even an option in the Restore Point.

Also, I tried to reinstall the service pack, but it's just not a good... (and Yes, there is enough free space on the drive in my computer)

I really don't want to restore my computer to factory settings, any comments will help!

Additional information: my computer is a 32-bit, the compaq computer that has about 7 years.

    Technical information: STOP: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xF7896756, 0xF7A91430, 0xF7A9112C)

My C: Drive: = 69.2 GB, free space = 1.77 GB disk space

Hello and welcome on Microsoft Answers.

I'm sorry to hear that you have problems even after updated to sp3. You did a great job giving details about your system and the errors you encounter.

First of all, the Stop error message 0x07E is usually associated with a corrupt driver. It is also likely in your case since you're able to boot in safe mode. When booting in SafeMode only the basic components are loaded.

Restart the computer as if go in safe mode. When the Advanced menu choose "Disable automatic reboot in case of system failure". Now reboot the computer as if to start in normal mode. You will probably get a BSOD (blue screen with the error code). I would like for you to watch and see if the name of the corrupted file is listed under the stop code. It would be something .sys

Example only > 92 D 89498 address WUSB54GCx86.sys base at 92D7c000, Datestamp 45c04cc9 (Note: you will only have to list the name of the file and not all the codes or datestamp)

If, in your case it isn't we will need to locate the specific problem using the good old fashioned of elimination process. To do this I need your to perform a clean boot following the instructions HERE. To the best of my knowledge, you will be able to use interactive help safe mode with network. If this is not the case, simply follow the instructions in the manual.
