• Help mount an Ordnance Survey Map - quality reduced in page view

  Hi all

  This is the first time I tried to do this then it could well be a very stupid solution. I have download an Ordnance Survey Map (scale 1: 50000) and I use PhotoShop CC to add a few lines of territory. The question I have is that when I click on 'View' and select 'size print', the quality or the plan reduces. Print size goes to 24%, but if I access it at 25% is much better. My questions are so

  (1) why this 1% would make such a difference?

  (2) could someone point me in the right direction with regard to the settings that I should open up the project for editing a map to make sure that the quality is as good as possible, as well as the parameters of the box about the size of the Image, i.e. should I ReSample ticked etc.

  (3) the card as shown is a scale of 1: 50000, which should mean that the square of each card must have 20 mm square in full size - why when I set the display mode to 100% are boxes much more Grand. In my mind, if I click on print size then the boxes should show 20 mm

  You can measure your card 100% and train on what scale you want to see in the "life-size". It will be different for everyone; Photoshop actually know what the size of your screen.

  And to check the quality, simply start by making open - Print in Photoshop. Print at 100%.

  Does anyone know how to disable or change the sounds of the hangman program? I would use it for my students to learn vocabulary words, but comments that are cartoon characters are inappropriate.  I would like to transform or alter sound before I publish, but I could not find a way to do it. I need help with step by step instructions.

  Also, does anyone know how to change the font on the letters in the executioner? They are too fancy for young learners and cursive.

  If you have no other audio on the slide with the interaction of the Hangman, you could try to just cut this particular slide audio: "Enter On--> assign cpCmndMute with 1.

  You must make sure that the slide in the project (and the previous slide, if you allow moving backward) resets the variable to reactivate the audio: "Enter On--> assign cpCmndMute with 0.

• Help mount Kingston SSD in DV7T-7200

  I just bought a Kingston Hyper X SSD for my DV7T-7200.  I was able to clone my hard drive and was able to install the drive in the laptop and plug as post2.  The Bios sees the drive, but there is no option in the Bios to select it as my boot drive.  Windows does not see the drive.

  Hi, so I click on the paint button and then click on the color button, I click on 'fill options' and he says strong. I hit the gradient and then modify it. I have change the gradient colors I want, but when I click on enter or click, it goes back to the solid color and does not keep the gradient. what I am doing wrong?

  Can you do a simple object, such as a rectangle, and simply apply a gradient to it, no editing? Try this:
  (1) create and select a rectangle
  (2) in the range of properties (below), select the dropdown that says solid and select one of the types of gradient.
  Make a gradient?

  (3) select the Options of filling... then click the button change
  4) change color and click off, twice (once to change, once to fill Options...)

• "Hard drive" problems repair installation XP

  I have used "some critical XP boot file not found" error message on a backup computer (an early 1.1 MacBook which has 1 GB RAM) I have not used for a year or two and tried to repair the installation.  In the measure where that actually, I start with the CD, download the .flp SCSI file, by pressing FnF6 at the right time (which is not easy!) and exercise.   Hi, I am a new user of Vmware Fusion (or Mac for that matter) so if you think that my problem happened to be quite some pretty stupid mistakes on my part.

  Tuesday, I just noticed that the update to version 2.0.2 and downloaded at short notice. The program wasn't on my Windows XP has been suspended, and I made the mistake of not the have stopped even if it has been suspended. I install the new update without problem, but when I restart my computer and turn it on... Well that's the point that I realized that my windows account is always logged.   There are several thing you can try and basically the same things as if it were a physical machine as the boot with the XP install CD / ISO Image and either use the Recovery Console to repair the registry or do a repair install, but the first thing first of all try to mount the virtual hard drive and retrieve your user data , then, first of all make a backup of the entire Virtual Machine assuming that it is a normal base file Virtual Machine and the Boot Camp partition.

  Take a look at: VMware Fusion (menu bar) > help > VMware Fusion help > managing Virtual Machines > VMDKMounter to help mount a virtual drive as a Mac Volume

  Note: If VMDKMounter is mounted with success you will be unwise and a titled Untitled white drive icon should appear on your desktop.

  Also use VMDKMounter with the Virtual Machine, not suspended and merger shutdown closed...

• VM crash - recovery ideas?

  I had a VM open with XP Pro running.  I went to Excel 2008 under OSX and got the famous spinning wheel of color.  I could go back to the virtual machine and he suspended and restarted the Mac Pro, think that the virtual machine were safe.  Well, it turns out, it's was not only not sure, there summer altered so bad that explorer.exe can not start!  I was one day away from my scheduled backup, but of course, it does not help.  I need to get a file on the VM, corrupted.

  Someone at - it other ideas for recovery?  Is there a way to access the files in the virtual computer even if the browser does not start?

  Thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated!

  Note: My experience when using VMDKMounter was that if no error message appears, then the virtual hard disk has been mounted and it appears usually on the desktop as an icon of white player named "Untitled".

• Partition in gray and cannot mount/erase, help!

  So I used to have bootcamp on my macbook pro, until there was some kind of issue that made me delete, or so I thought.

  So today after clearing my computer out of the way of bootcamp, I started bootcamp and was greeted by a message saying

  "The startup disk must be formatted in a single volume in Mac OS extended (journaled) or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows."

  So logically I open disk utility and surely, there were three partitions; 12x12cm HD, recovery and the other named Untitled. The partition named untitled had 99GB of storage all be exhausted and has been grey, I tried to clear it, and then mount it, but nothing seemed to work. (Erasing gave an error message) I tried paritioning the SSD, but it said something like "Enable logging" (which I've tried to do, but were grayed out for me)

  Please help, I have no idea what's going on and I really want to get bootcamp running!

  I decided to go ahead and try to start windows, and surely, it has not been entirely removed. I installed the drivers installation, selected the 98 GB partition and deleted. Then, I left out of the facility, in OS X and wollah, back to a single disk again!

  Can someone help me please... I brought the iMac 27 in. in 2013. And I need to mount it on the wall.

  To my astonishment, I discovered that I can't get on the wall that my iMac is late 2012 model. And this model does not come with wall VESA opition.

  When I brought my computer, I was not put to the aware of the notice of wall-mounted or free-standing support.

  I spoke with tech support but no joy.  I was told to replace my iMAC or buy 3rd party mounting Kit. Unfortunately the 3rd party SDK does not solve my problem

  I bought a widescreen Ergotron TM tilting wall mount model 60-572 for my Dell 3202MH.  I purchased through Dell on the phone and said that it would be compatible with my LCD TV 32 '' flat screen.  I searched the manual and all messages in the forum.  I have yet found an answer and one more question asking the same thing.

  How to mount to the wall.  I can't find the screw holes on the back which does not seem to allow that it be mounted.  I don't want to start removing the rear panels to see if they're hiding.  Someone help me please. • Cannot mount NFS Debian to esxi 5.1 - Please help

  I've tried everything. I'm extremely frustrated on the way this beginner step...

  Idea was the installation, a debian for nfs box and use sharing nfs as a data store in esxi.

  Ive looked everywhere and found very little on this subject... I think that its pretty beginner so no one's going in depth on how to do it step by step... I think that sharing is good and the permissions are good but I don't know how to check via the coast host or client...

  any help would be appreciated... I tried a lot of online how tos with no luck.

  You said above "my root" and I assumed to mean that esxi is a directory directly under /, but is that correct? Looks like maybe not.
