Help please - Windows update - restart issues (and upgrade to Windows 10 questions?)

Hello

I wanted to switch to Windows 10 but got stuck on the "start download" page, as have other users.

Looking through the other questions on this site, I have seen that Windows update may need to complete before you start with Windows 10.

I had not run windows update for a long time I thought that would mean Windows 10 would install and I wasn't ready for this, but now I am.

Then I ran windows update and more than 150 updates have been installed.

However, he now says:

"Restart your computer to install important updates

Windows cannot update services and important files while the system uses them.  Save... "

I rebooted, shut down, rebooted several times, but this message continues to appear in the Windows Update window.

Still, the update of Windows 10 stuck initially download.

I ran disk cleanup in safe mode, as well as normal and tried to restart, but it did not help.  I tried the troubleshooting windows update option, but this did not help.

I used two tools, the Microsoft FixIt who did not help and a WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab file which allows to find the two errors and saying: he fixed them, but this still does not work, IE always ask me to restart and Windows 10 gets stuck to download from.

The two problems it finds are listed as:

"Windows Update error 0 x 80070005(2016-05-30-T-08_49_44P)" and is listed as fixed

"Problems install the latest updates" and is considered to be fixed.

I am at my wits end and would be really grateful for the help.

If this becomes technical, please help me in using a step by step method or referring to one for me.

I have a laptop of Toshiba Windows 7 64-bit.

EDIT: I ran the above diagnostic tool and the error was fixed progresses over time, that is to say it is correct to say 09:03 now...  Also, to revise accordingly the so-called updates installed, many of them, but not all, have the status of a failed.

If this does not work please restart your computer and wait 20 minutes for the system to operate before you download the information needed to help me investigate your problem. Place the cursor on the system, select the Action in the Menu and record all events like (the evtx default file type) and give a name to the file. Do not offer not filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting the Action from the menu. Do not clear the logs so that you have a persistent problem.

  • Help please! -Update for just the Bills and windows 7

    I have a new PC, I downloaded the update for MYOB bills comes with windows 7, everything was fine until I decided to set up windows live mail to send invoices, I was then unable to print, save or send invoices just.  I had sent banklink accountant so I'm pretty sure that the default value of the mail has been configured correctly.  I decided to uninstall Just bills and download the update only to find an error message - myob Invoicing_web Editor. (3) .exe could not be verified.  I clicked on run. The installation wizard you need to enter the name, organization, and serial number I did, come I clicked Next, it loaded and I clicked on finish.  Another error message-Sorry there is a problem with your game to the top.  MYOB bills just to reinstall, and then try again.  I tried a few times and I am extremely frustrated.  I would appreiciate advice please.

    I have lenovo z50-70 notebook with Intel i7, 8GH RAM and 250 GB of kingston SSD
    The bios of the laptop is v.29
    I installed win 7 PRO 64-bit operating system.
    The system has worked well for about 2 weeks. After this time I noticed the strange question - the laptop is unable to boot from the disk hard when restarting/rebooting the system is used. It breaks down screen goes black and then the cell phone tries to do something (Lenovo logo at all), goes down and repeat for infinity.
    When the pxe boot is enabled the system constantly trying to boot from pxe. anoint and once again.
    I can only close the laptop to the power button and restart. It seems that the system does not recognize the hard drive during the reboot process.
    When I stopped the system (down) and leaves - everything works fine and the system starts normally without any problems.
    I also noticed one other issue - the laptop does not recognize the 8 GB of ram chip. (kingston 8GB PC3 - 12800 CL11 204 pins SODIM). It is little matter if I use this RAM, alone or with other RAM - laptop chips recognize only 4 GB or 2 x 4 GB. I tested the RAM 8GH in other laptop (dell and benq) and it works fine, only Suur z50-70 a problem with it.
    I don't know if the ram and restart problems are related to each other, but both of them seems to have problems hardware or bios.

    I solved the problem by upgrading the SSD firmware.
    I used the tool of kingston for upgrade (for ssd SV300S3 series):

    The upgrade process takes a few seconds and after that, everything works fine. I've done a few reboots and I can't reproduce the problem.

    I've known the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR blue screen which causes reboot at random times when I use my computer. I tried a number of options and have been in contact with a number of Microsoft employees to try to solve this problem, but so far nothing has worked. Here is a list of whathas was made up here, but all to no success. These actions are without particular chronological order:

    Ran CHKDSK /R in command prompt

    CHKDSK ran sfc and dism in command prompt

    A ran CHKDSK/X/r/f in the Safe Mode command prompt

    A ran CHKDSK /F /R in Safe Mode command prompt

    Analyses with HitmanPro, ESET, Norton and Malwarebytes

    A run MSDT while with the Microsoft Staff

    Update various drivers

    Convenience of Ran with Microsoft staff

    Finally, I performed the update on my PC, but little time action after I did, I had projected again blue.

    My OS was 8.1, now demoted to 8 since I refreshed.

    I'm ready to remove and reinstall windows as a last resort if nothing else can be done, if that would solve the question. I appreciate the help that can be given.

    I have a n5110 too and am stuck in a loop of starting with violation of WDF and have tried many of the approaches recommended without result.

    • I've burned windows 10 installation dvd to perform the boot.
    • tried "Startup Repair", but it does not work
    • tried to 'get this pc' with 'keep my files', doesn't work anymore, I see, he created a windows.old directory backup in D: in a new windows folder, but the problem is the same.
    • cannot start in safe mode (even though I changed the timer for windows Boot Manager to choose another operating system to 30 seconds. There are two options that are the same name: "windows 10 on volume 3" (I guess there are two due to reset this pc), I had an option of safe mode with networking on the two options press on f8, but when you press f8 they still dropped with bluescreen violation wdf.
    • startup options"do not appear under Troubleshooting so I can't select a safe mode start (this is most likely because I'm boot from a DVD)
    • There is no visible restore points system (probably because I chose a 'this pc reset' with the option of saving files) and the new folder of windows.

  • Need help with the update server behaviors and deleting records

    I am 'trying' to use the update and delete record server behaviors and I can't get the redirection page to set up correctly. What I'm trying to do, is to have the redirection came up with the right records depending on the CompId page. It seems that it is taking the CompId and agreementId (which are my unique ID) and use them in the url of the redirection page. Also, it updates the table. Here is the url that appears after I have send the update:

    CompId is not filled in the URL because you try to use the result of the rsAgree recordset object until the result of the recordset is created. However, you pass the CompId value via array $_POST as a hidden field.

    Change this line (52):

    to do this:

    I read in this forum and found that you can solve this problem be reinstall BIOS. When I tried to download BIOS on site it requires Pass and Login which I don't have. If you have any suggestions to download it from there?

    If not, how I can activate keboard light FN + F2 and the scroll Lock FN + F9 without button FN button.

    You story sounds strange for me because I have visited the Toshiba European page and choose your model. Satellite A200-1z3 PSAE3E.
