• Help: Program changed by default for Internet Explorer, the .lnk files.

  So yesterday, I did something stupid. I managed to change the default program for all my .lnk for Internet Explorer files. I am running Win 7 (64).

  When I double-click on any file on my desktop, it tries to open the file with Internet Explorer. It is the same for most of the program files in my Start menu. I met some difficulties for this problem, but all were for the latest operating systems such as Vista and XP so I didn't run the risk of ruining my registry even more by running an obsolete program. If more information is needed just ask.

  Help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

• Help program LabVIEW

  Hi all

  I am facing problems with the project I'm doing with my traditions. The project I'm doing is a lot like a game with two generators and two people will have to compete and see which generates more. It must have the following functions:

  -Display the current values measured by sensors in current of 2 respective generators.

  -Have an array of waveform that is capable of displaying the current measured values.

  -Have some sort of 'sliding bar' system that increases as the amount produced since generators increases.

  -Have a scoring system for the people of ten albums that generates the most.

  I know I already asked questions on the subject of some of the functions above, but attached is my vi together that our group has managed to date. I would appreciate if someone can point out our mistakes that we made, improvements we can make to improve our project.

  The problems that we have so far:

  -Cannot write the measured values for the file using "write to the spreadsheet" excel (not sure if we have problems in our program that will lead to this)

  -We currently use several LEDs to the 'sliding bar' (we do it wrong?)

• Why the CCC help (languages) programs are installed?

  I noticed that I have a number of language CCC help programs installed recently...!

  Example: CCC help Greek, Hungarian help, Italian aid, CCC CCC CCC help Russian, etc, etc, etc,...

  I have not installed these programs.

  When I check for Windows updates I have show that "33 optional updates are available" (all language files)
  I choose not to install simply because that I don't use a language "English".

  Can I safely uninstall these programs?

  Are they somehow integrated with other applications that would not work if I uninstall them?

  No idea how they installed in the first place?

  How can I stop them to proceed with the installation in the future?

  And lastley, is there a way to stop the available optional updates are developed continuously when I check for updates?

  The language of the CCC helps programs is a component of setup of the software graphic adapter Catalyst for ATI graphics cards.

  You should be able to remove by going to Panel, programs and features and selecting Uninstall.

  You can stop the optional updates to appear using hide updates. Select an update that you want to hide, right-click, and then click Hide update. Do this for each update you want to hide.

  yesterday, I noticed several hick ups with lack of RAM. All running programs were arrested in a scenario for the accident. He (OSX Yosemite) I was thinking that the question might have been "addressbooksourcesync" that took a lot of RAM. Then I solved this problem so that this doesn´t application take longer, but the problem remains. I then upgraded to El Capitan, but yet all of my RAM seems to have disappeared and the machine is incredibly slow. There here are some hard facts of my analysis but I couldn t see the main issue so far. Is there someone out there who is able to help me?

  • iStat Pro shows only 51 MB left, but always inactive 1 GB
  • Activity monitor shows 3.13 GB wired, about 800 MB of cache, most using "kernel_task". I also read a few posts on this subject, but I guess that the problem is hidden somewhere else
  • EtreCheck show 3.97 GB of RAM used, but there is not too many applications running in my eyes and I'm not able to identify the troublemaker

  You actually have a performance problem?

  Don't you worry about that. OS X, like all modern UNIX systems, use all available RAM to increase performance. The important thing is to the memory, which is green on the next page you post. There is nothing wrong. It is the way it is supposed to work.

• Install Service Pack 4 on Windows XP Home Edition, need Adobe program to print various Government and the USPS form

  I tried many times to print a simple USPS shipping label today, I could download a USPS 88 page manual, but not the program to print the label or the label.  They say that if I use Windows XP Home Edition, I have Service Pack 4 or later.  I can't find any reference to Service Pack 4 on Microsoft help programs.
  Now I'm wondering if there is a solution about my fate.  Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you
