Help requested by Experts of HP only please.

I would like some advice on a lemon I've been stuck with.

17 SEP 2013, I bought a new dv7-7233nr desire. Right out of the box, I noticed a slight problem with the display. A task about 5 mm in diameter in the upper left quadrant was discolored or faded looking. I decided to just live with him at the time. A few weeks later the right hinge began to split in two and I could see the mechanical parts inside the hinge. As with my first question, I decided to just live with this question.

Everything was working great and I fully enjoyed my notebook and was very happy with it. Then the Windows 8.1 update is out and has been dutifully installed by your truly. It is then that all my troubles began. I started having problems where at random times, the laptop would spontaneously stop, restart or freeze just several minutes at a time. The way things worked, I thought that there was some sort of conflict of software to the origin of the problem. After trying for weeks to fix the problem, I decided to wipe the hard drive and replace everything by the restore disks that I had purchased from HP.

Well well just a few minutes into the routine of erasure of disk a kind of error message popped up saying that due to the alteration of the disc the program wipe could not go further. So I reboot the machine, only to get stuck to the dreaded "CAPS LOCK" flashing light that blinked continuously without any model. This time I had no choice but to involve technical support HP and I went online and after talking with a technician he was allowed to return to HP for repair.

This started an oddessey on December 16, 2013, that doesn't seem to end. I shipped my unit for repairs on 20 December 2013 where it was received on 24 December 2013. After the Christmas break the repairs have been made and the unit was sent to me on January 2, 2014. Among the items repaired or replaced were the HARD drive and the system board. Nothing has been mentioned about the faulty display and broken hinge and a large part of my chagring that neither item had been repaired.

To say that I was a little disappointed is an understatement. I contacted HP immediately and explained the situation to the technician who seemed sincerely simpathize with my situation while she began a faster repair process to correct two errors which had missed the previous repair center. She took me to a shift of 1 day instead of 2 days for only my qualified guarantee me shipping. I thought that this extra effort was very nice and I happily sent my laptop in for the second time on January 6, 2014. Now for the second time my laptop was repaired and sent back to me on January 13, 2014, two days ago only.

Well, my story gets sadder. This time the repair center managed to solve the problem of the video display by replacing the window Panel and before any view. It was great, I thought! Then when I opened the lid of the laptop, I could clearly see the same problem with the hinge right split open as he had been all along. I looked through all the paper work that was sent with the appliance as well as electronic documents that had been sent to me and it was not a simple thing mentioning the right hinge repair. He had not yet been considered. At this point I'm just upset.

I contacted HP for the third time on this problem and I was told that someone in authority would call me to discuss the possible options that might be available to me and to know what went wrong with the repair team and that they would work directly with me to make sure that everything has been done properly this time. Asked me my phone number and a time to convinent to call.

Well it didn't happen either. No one from HP called me to discuss all the 'options' as replacement under my States lemon laws. Nor can I talk first hand to a person in a position of 'authority' as I was told to wait. Instead two days later, on 15 January 2014 I discovered that this thing is treated as if it were the first time he was going to be sent in for repair. I was not extended the courtosey to have the speed of navigation, upgraded in the air the next day or any other indication that this would be done at a fast pace.

If you have followed my story all along, then maybe you can understand why at this point I am absolutely Livid with HP service and would really like the chance to talk to a real person such as the Manager or the Director of the service department there in Grapevine, Texas. I want really to use harsh language and do it to a very strong and vigorus volume just to make me feel a little better. But I'll settle for a civil conversation and get some sort of action as ensuring that this repair is the subject of a follow-up and hand carried over in the process of my someone in management and an attempt to ship the unit to me using the delivery the day even or at least the next day gaurunteed 08:00.

My question to you Experts HP here is you think that this could make it happen? If I can't return this laptop to me before the end of this week, as January 18, 2014, so I couldn't return at all. I can just use it with the hinge collapse as long as no other damage occurs. Maybe a little later in the year then I could make time to get the hinge repaired correctly. Do you think I would run in any warranty problem, if I decide to wait? I really want to cut my nose off just to spite my face.

If you could advise me on which I could call on this quandry, or just what you think would be better for me to do at this point, you really do me a huge favor, not to mention restoring my faith in HP s Comsumer products.

    Photoshop CS6 has not been tested on Windows NT in accordance with this article: Photoshop system requirements

    I searched a little bit with our engineers and this laptop uses a capacitive touchscreen, a capacitive stylus would be the type to use.

    Hi Mallik7, please try the following steps, you must succeed to solve the problem.

    To connect a client to vCenter directly to the ESX host error-free work.

    Files/etc/vmware/config the ESX host contain the lines:

    Hi all!

    I ran the Scanner Microsoft (MSS) mode Quick Scan and it found nothing.

    I then ran MSS in full Scan mode and it found: TrojanSpy: Win32 / Delf

    In the results of Scan of MSS window, he says:

    "The analysis is completed with success and viruses, spyware and other potentially unwanted software were detected and partially removed".

    Given that the results showed the presence of "TrojanSpy: Win32 / Delf" I have four questions, please:

    (1) how do I get this Trojan horse on my computer? I am very sure and use a good anti-virus/malware software.

    I apply the blur of the text in the original composition as the action live has a focus to shoot, so I wanted to use the blur in time with this to add realism. Not sure which collapsed transformations is what im guessing which means in the original model, I can't change the text... If yes then yes they are reduced. Any way around this? Bravo for having responded quickly.

    You have installed one of the versions that supports RTL languages? If this is not the case, open the CC App and the gear icon allows you to change the preferred language yopur in Arabic, then disconnect you and back in and let the application update. You should see ID accessible to the general public for download yet once drank this time it will be the English/Arabic version. Once installed, change your language of return.

    1: know just how big or small the problems really are. These incidents isolated or is there a bigger problem. There are thousands of F5 Networks and F55 in operation day after day. It is not surprising to find the weird device with a previously unknown hardware or a software problem, but if there are several examples of the same show, then this may indicate a problem of firmware. By collationg, all unexplained of bug reports in one place that we can find areas of interest.

    2: by including a detailed report of what is past and what accessories were attached to the time where we can look for common factors that can cause problems.

    3: Sony only needs to check a thread to see what is happening, they do not need to browse through pages and pages of stuff.

    ONLY after a bug/crash report. NO feature requests or ' I wish that... ". "Lets keep the clutter of wire free to make it easier to see any real operational concerns. I suggest a single page that can be updated with workarounds or know bugs that users should be aware of. Please do not discuss your problems or other problems on this thread. That's just pointing that out. If you want to discuss a topic report it here first, and then open a new thread on this specific issue.

    WHAT TO INCLUDE IN A BUG REPORT:

    Please provide the following information:

    Version type and the firmware of the camera. Version of the firmware so attached R5.

    Attached Aboved, include R5, adapters battery or power supply, viewfinders, monitors connected directly to the camera.

    Type of battery and the brand, the battery charge State if know.

    The type of SxS card, preferably the part number on the back of the card for example 'SBP - 64.

    The record format and pace. All special modes such as slow shutter or S & Q.

    If you use a scene or non-standard file defining let us know.

    What you were doing when the bug appeared and what has happened as well.

    Everything you think might have contributed to the bug or what you're doing to get around.

    As reported in another thread: If you upgrade the firmware and then load a FILE ALL created when the appliance has been set at 25 p/50 p, then the camera crashes while recording. For now, I would recommend creating a FILE all charges or the SCENE FILE for each version of firmware.

    How do I get there?

    You can try something like this:

    Sort by C:

    Then sort by A:

    I'll give you this:

    Insert cells empty and drag John Allagain to the top.

    If you have a lot of John Allagain throughout the table, then you might duplicate column C column D, change all the values of the administrator for John Allagain in column D for 1success (leaving the other values of the administrator the same).  So the same sequence as above except you would first sort on column D (not C), then on column A.

    Best to make a backup of your table before you try this, in case you're wrong and you need to start over.

    After a few weeks of scratches all about untangle sceurity perceived a few questions with email etc. - yesterday I belive I discovered a big problem and need some help please.

    I hope that I write from own machine because I believe that desktop home computers are compromised.

    Main PC is running XP and has a connection via a cable ethernet via a bt Home Hub2.

    Yetsrday while watching my network connections I noticed something called "Internet GATEWAY" above my LAN icon.

    It showed that I had been connected for over 2 days (a little more than 2 hours for the LAN) even when the PC off and was send/receive many packages and seemed much faster than my LAN. problem: I click on this & it won't let me log out or see properties / settings - I get a warning about 'connection is currently unavailable '... I really worry that it is someone else on my PC - is this right? How can I fix it? and it is a matter for the Police.? I'm really worried. Other symptoms, I noticed - my windows log on 'his' dissapraed a & in the event Manager-, there is no security - only since 2006 newspaper.  Very slow PC. Running SuperAntispyware - no problem after removing a Security Center option turn off a few days ago.  Really gratfeul l to help guys. Am at my wits end. Very garteful using anyones.  I guess that my internet connection and PC was hacked/compromised.

    To be clear, you remove all networking services, but just the part that detects and controls "gateways" as your router.  This removes the "Internet gateway" of network connections icon, but should not do something else.

    If a right click or double click on the "Internet gateway" just produced a message "connection is busy", which makes me think that something is not configured correctly - either the router (bt Home Hub) has turned off UPnP (or does not really support) or the UPnP in network services service is not installed, or something else.

    I don't think that someone else is controlling your connection, but as I said, the other symptoms you describe indicate a malware problem continues and you need to take steps to ensure that your machine is free from malware.
