  Apple batteries will be sold if Apple installs, NOT the user.  If you have a MBP, this is probably the best option because the batteries are pasted into the retina.  If you have a retina no MBP, look at the OWC site for NuPower batteries or search the Internet for brand batteries Anker.  Anything else can be 'high risk' in terms of quality.

  Don't just assume a problem until it arises. Ranger 3 months at discounted rate is not likely to cause a problem, especially if it's a fairly new battery (low cycle count).

  All you need to do is perform a search online with Google or another search engine to find the replacement and their cost. The amount that they will cost will depend on how to master you are at purchase.

  Buy a first power adapter, to make sure that the laptop still works. You should be able to connect and the power led lights up. Once you see the power led, you can press the power button to verify that the computer will boot to the Windows login screen. If this is not the case, then don't waste the money on a new battery.

  My laptop battery life is horrible. Ive done some research and it seems that everyone with the same laptop as I is to have the same exact type of the problem. I had the laptop in autumn 2010.   Hi DanielGlez, welcome to the Forums of HP. No need to apologize, your English is much better than my Portuguese. The only option I can think of to get a spare battery, becomes part of HP for the battery number and see if HP PartSurfer comes in your area.

  You can find the model number of your battery and buy the same model. My Toshiba A100-383 battery has this model number: PA3399U-2BRS, I don't know if yours has this number too.

  The heat is a big problem for Li - ion batteries. In any case, you should check if your laptop temperature is abnormal (maybe a fan does not work or it is dirty) because it can affect other components.

  I need a new all-in-one, like the OfficeJet HP 6700 Premium e-all-in-one printer, which I watched in a store.  The box was not clear about the capabilities.

  What I do with old HP all-in-one on an old XP, (11-12 years) old machine is scanning documents to preview multipage PDF, so I can adjust the margins and other things, and if I did not have many PDF files for a multi-page document.  I do this a LOT, I need, it is not a such PITB.    I have not found a way to do this with the printers I have, my new computer so I have to go do it on a slow XP machine in another room.  I can only print at the old printer to my new computer.

  I'm used to using the HP, but those I have is old, my old XP machine (6 years) so it is more reliable and my new computer Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit, and Windows 7 drivers for my old all-in-one are not full function, if they still exist, plus we have several computers and tablets on our network now.   None of the older all-in-one I will do what I need for my new computer, if they'll even install (you look, Dell).

  I ran a diagnostic battery last night after that I had trouble keeping my battery charged. It must be replaced. I think I found the battery on Amazon: it's a KS526AA. I found the battery on the HP Web site as well, but this product does not list what laptops, it is compatible with. I know the standard dv4 is a KS524AA, but I wouldn't mind the extended battery, just as long as it works.

  Does anyone know phones compatible for the KS526AA or that the batteries are compatible with a Pavilion dv4?

  For the first 4 months with my new laptop was perfect! I loved, the touchscreen is quite elegant, and I could play the game, that I had downloaded on my laptop. While in the middle of back to Chicago, my laptop suddenly stopped working. It would not load. When I plugged it in, it wouldn't respond. I called the store that I bought, and they wanted a bunch of information that I could not give because I didn't have information on me. So I called Dell support and after being told that I had to buy a new battery and the AC adapter / CC (and may not even solve the problem) I went to the Geek Squad at Best Buy near me. They said that the port of loading was worn, and they offered to fix it for a little over $ 100 and it would take a month. It was suggested to just send to Dell for repair. The second time I called Dell, I hung up. The third time I called, I had to do a test of the system, and when nothing is revealed to be the problem, I was sent a box to send to the repair depot. After a week, my cell phone was delivered back to me. I thought that the problem was more. I was wrong.

  After working for 2 weeks, he began to do the same thing, so I called Dell, and I hung up. I called again, trying to be as relaxed as possible and I was finally sent to a box to send my laptop to repair warehouse. The person helping me never returned all emails, but that's OK, it was useful.

  Just today, I got my laptop, and after having turned it on, I noticed an immediate problem. The screen had pulled away from the screen. He would respond to the touch again, but only in certain places. I called Dell again and I have helped me, but ultimately I need to factory reset my laptop. That means that everything I had on it has now disappeared. As soon as I have time, I'll go back to the store and buy a new laptop that will not a Dell.
