Windows XP Activation loop.
When I turn on my computer it tells me that I need to activate windows. I click on 'YES' it takes me to the activation page and says that Windows is already activated. All I can do is, click 'OK' and he takes me into a log on screen with my name on it and goes through the same process, as described at the beginning of this statement. I'm in a loop. The only way out is to wipe my hard drive and reload windows new who, within 30 days, it will do no doubt once again. How to do this?
For 3 years I rebooted my computer. That's why I reloaded it in the first place. I sent this version of Windows XP by Microsoft and have recharged the system at least 4 times in the past 10 or 11 years.Ken

When I turn on my computer, the shockwave plugin has been constantly unresponding and it crashes. An error appears (x 000...), could not see clearly, as it happens too fast and my computer restarts. After restarting it brings me to the reovery Manager, so I decided to reformat but an error pops up (error 100a).
When I went to check the disc, that all satisfied the test except the HDD test failed, the problem was bioshd-8. The computer just always brings me to the Manager of recovery even when I want to start windows normally. Really need help. Thank you

My question is about the message poster on my PC window indicating that the program cannot start because ash.dll base is missing in my PC.
So how I can solve this issue.
This program is for AVAST ANTIVIRUS
Ash.dll is usually associated with an infection.
Install/run these two free utilities
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

It could also be the case that Avast detected & removed the infection but left a remnent, this being the case closely check the entries in the msconfig Startup tab

I have a problem when I turn on my computer...
I have a problem when I turn on my computer. An error that says: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "
And there are 3 options: start windows in safe mode, safe mode with network or start Windows normally. And... If I have the choice between these options my Windows shows this option again and again after loading... How to solve "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. " Problem ?lakimedo,
The first thing, have you changed any hardware or software? If you added new hardware then delete and restart. Also disconnect external devices and try to start. When you start start pressing F8 until you get the Windows startup options. Then try "Last known good configuration" see if that helps. If those who do not help, I would start with your XP CD to recovery mode and run "chkdsk/r" then "sfc/scannow". QQ learn manage! -

Lately when I turn on my computer, I get a message saying. "Windows mail can compact the message store. This can take up to a few minutes. "It looks like a real message of Windows but when I click on the link"Get help from communities", it does not work. I cancel or close the message, because I fear that the message can be fake and won't open my computer for a virus or worse. Anyone has any info on this particular message? I can't find anything in the help section of Windows. Thank you.
