Help Windows 7 install

Hello everyone, I just bought and assembled a new custom computer and am having a devil of a time to get 64-bit Windows 7 to install.  I already was in touch with Windows support and and ASUS support (the mother card company) and he were not able to understand the problem.  I have a copy of Windows 64 - bit with Service Pack 1 that I downloaded with my school supplied license MSDN (using the Secure software download that it uses).  I used the download USB windows tool to format and try different flash drives and DVDs 2 and still get errors.  When I boot the appropriate setting, I spend the first screen (the black screen where it says that Windows is loading files) and join the second screen (the screen that says "Starting Windows" where the logo comes forward) where I get a BSOD.

Now, thanks to the support of windows, I tested one of the USB drives I used on another computer and when starting on the player above I am able to get to the stage just before you click on "install now".  AsusAsus helped me also update my motherboards BIOS to version up-to-date and it still doesn't seem to work.  The strange thing however is through my own tests, I decided to try installing another OS, Linux Ubuntu.  This facility went through without any problems and I currently use it as a Linux machine.  I would use Windows on so if anyone has any suggestions or questions, I would.

I now have Windows on my computer and I think I understood the problem.  ISO I had seems to be the problem, I've had it for awhile and I guess that it is obsolete.  I went and bought a copy of Windows 8.1 after Windows support has informed me that it was illegal to get just an ISO on their part.

The computer works perfectly now.

Thanks for all the help guys, it really helped me narrow down the issue.

    (And Norton) McAfee applications are known to not uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.

    3. right click on the file that you saved in #1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    This boot camp does not at all.

    I have two menu options-

    1. install windows 7

    2 Download drivers

    After doing all this of course at the end of the download there is an error - "installation disc is not found."

    I tried to put the ISO on the USB with the downloaded drivers - that does not work.

    After 1, 2 above I went to the home screen, and I only get the error that is not found on the installation disk.

    In case of failure enormous amount of apples. It's a rotten apple.

    Also missing the option to create a boot Disc... uh, nobody uses most CD players.

    -You are able to install other programs outside strike cs?

    First of all, check if the windows service install is set to automatic and started. To do this follow the steps below:

    1. Click Start.
    2. In the start search box type services.msc and press enter
    3. In the services window, do scroll down to Windows install.
    4. Right-click on it and click Properties.
    5. Check if the startup type is set to automatic, otherwise it is set to automatic.
    6. Click the Start button, this will start the installation of windows services.
    7. Click on apply and Ok.

    Check if you can install Counter Strike on the computer.

    If it fails after following the steps above, you can try to access the counter strike CD and try to do a right-click on the installation and configuration icon and select run as administrator and check if it helps you install the game with any questions.

    If the problem persists, open Event Viewer and check if there are other important messages/error codes generated during the time where the installation failed and post it back.

    Try to do a system restore: click on start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, System Restore.  Then choose the restore point from when itunes tried to install.  If this does not work, let me know and I can give you another way to do it.
