• Help with button code please?

  I am a novice and have completed my first animated film. I need help with action script.

  The film is currently in a loop and I created and invisible button the size of the frame with the intention that a user can click on the picture of the movie to stop it and the second click continue the film from where it stopped.

  I used AS event handler method to stop the sequence. I tested it and it works. But I can't understand the appropriate code to restart the movie.

  Two questions;

  1. I go to the task the right way? (should I use two buttons, a stop, a tenure)?

  2. If my approach is possible, can someone give me the right to re - start the movie and put me out of my misery please?

• Need help with buttons of reminder - highlights

  Hi all

  I'm looking for help with Encoder CS5. I have a project works very well except that I have not made salient for the buttons, at least, I think it's what his name. So when the mouse or the remote control navigates to the up/down button toa it changes color.

• Need help with buttons!

  Hello someone!
  
  The thing that I would need help with is the buttons that moves... Say there are 2 buttons on the stage, when someone clicks the button, the button from left to right movement and opens something when it stops there. So long it's fine for me, but now the peal problem.
  
  The thing is I want the button now on the right rear to place there where appropriate when I click on a button of the second (and it goes right to the place). When I do now the first button remains in place right... Do someone know what to type in Actionscript?

• Help with Audio using the DD Realtek Audio Manager

  Hi all
  
  I recently bought a new computer and tried today for the first time to record audio to one of my movies.
  
  On my old computer, there is no problem, but now that I bought a gateway that has this installed Realtek HD Audio Manager, I can't save.
  
  When I click on the audio button, the guest comes telling me that he will have to establish levels of microphone.
  
  Usually when I talk, it turns green and everything is correct.
  
  Now, nothing.
  
  Is there something with this software Realtek or the passage system which does not allow me to register?

  I'm not sure how to put it in terms you understand fully, but I'll try.

  When the computers are made, there are certain pieces of equipment which perform the tasks we ask them. This material is provided by different manufacturers. For example, you use a computer brand Gateway, but the internal circuit and the equipment are supplied by different manufacturers. Then gateway buys components from all over the place. And in this case, the manufacturer of the audio component is called RealTek. Audio material can be hard connected directly to the motherboard or it could be a separate and external expansion card that connects to the motherboard via a slot.

  Any hardware component normally requires a component of special software called a 'pilot' to help the operating system (Windows) understand how to work with the material. The driver can also reside in a few different places. It can be supplied on a chip on the motherboard or the expansion card, or it can also exist as a file that is installed in the operating system. Or it could be a combination of the two.

  so, in this case, RealTek is the manufacturer of a specific type of audio material. Unfortunately, no version of Captivate include how to work with the material provided by the manufacturer. The really unfortunate part of all this is while Captivate has problems with it, other software happily works just dandy and won't complain a bit.

  So the answer to the part of your question, is that if you remove any aspect of your software from RealTek, kill you also probably the audio capabilities of your computer. In other words, that no sound would work under Windows or any other software. Regarding the installation of other software that would work, you would seek to eventually buy an extra sound card. Disable the RealTek hardware and install the new card and its associated drivers. And even then, there is no guarantee that it would work with Captivate or even Windows. (My son continued his tail for a literally weeks trying to make a sound card to work in an old PC)

  As you can see, taking that approach is much heavier and more involved that it would be just maybe start Windows Sound Recorder or Audacity, record your audio clip and save it. Then in Captivate, import it into the project.

  What a pain that you would have to work this way? You're talking about. But until developers can so why some material works and some does not, it is what we are facing. For what it's worth, we see a similar problem with Captivate not reliable detection and work with a Headset Microphone that connects via the USB port.

• Need help with information about the file

  IM and only know basic computer skills. Im having a problem with obtaining correct file information.  I only use MS MediaPlayer.  I have amassed a decent library.  Over the years, I've downloaded music from CD, limewire and what is called a torrent.  My daughter would be to get an education, but she managed.  Songs from a CD are not a problem, but other sources, the news of music might be incorrect or missing.  On my hard drive and the Member for information often is listed as unknown or various artist.  I edited the info on the Congressman, but he will not put these songs in order. Always the groups to the title of an album.  I can't change the information in the properties.  I think I would need to correct the source info in my library, but I don't know how. Any help would be greatly appreciated my OCD insists that my library be in order. Thank you!

  Musician is working hard and deserves to be paid for their work like everyone else, and unless they offer their recordings for free, whenever you download a torrent or P2P service like Limewire, you're basically stealing their intellectual property and taking food off of their plate.

  Most of the people don't post on a Microsoft Forum, ask the help of cataloguing of media that were obtained from these types of sources. In addition, the sources you cite could also distribute unwanted hitchikers (virus, malicious software) as well as the music.

  If you buy the CD you got with torrents and Limewire, you would probably best chance to get the metadata. And it would be "the right thing to do."

  I downloaded ON my PC and I need to allow it. Now, my computer asks me if I want to replace the AdobeID by the new. I get confused, because OF is not yet on my computer, but I don't allow my ereader with my AdobeID.

  The question is, if the email address remains the same, but password changes, I will always be able to read the books I already have on the ereader? I bought via the ereader, whereas they were not on my computer before.

  When asking you TO 'replace' means replace the anonymous account which is currently my pc or can I replace what I had before on the ereader as well? Because if I have to replace the AdobeID on my ereader as well, then I won't be able to read ebooks that I put on the ereader.

  Many people seems to think that the use of Digital Editions with an ereader is

  'plug and play '.  It is not because there is a good amount of technology

  lurking in the background.  No offense, Denise, but I should put a

  view around the answers to your questions.

  EPublications are consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 2000 (DMCA

  for short), which sets out the way they are managed.  There are

  restrictions on copying and printing of ebooks and these restrictions may be

  fixed by the authors, distributors and publishers using digital rights management

  (DRM).  At the same time, as Digital Editions library management systems

  need to build these restrictions to their programs.  In addition, ereader

  manufacturers can choose some options to integrate into their equipment.

  Some ereaders can be used without their registration with the manufacturer.

  But their capacities are limited.  Some, like the Kindle and

  iPads/iPods/iPhones, are related to a certain ebookseller (Amazon or Apple).

  All PC library management systems can access ebook sources without being

  recorded.  However, as you have discovered, some will impose limits

  on you if you do not save.

  ADE - registered or not - creates a small file of ID for each ebook and that

  contains information about the user.  So, you are right in saying that, if

  you use a different ID, you won't be able to read ebooks that you

  downloaded with (or without) a different ID.

  Your ereader also contains information on registration - if you are registered

  then the ID you used is embedded in its file ID and is associated

  with all of the ebooks that are downloaded/copied on it.

  All that being said:

  ADE is flexible enough, you've discovered.  You can allow it with a

  ID and then change it when you want.  However, because of the DMCA, it won't

  allow you to read electronic books other than those to this ID.  One solution is

  the other is to set up an Adobe ID which is independent of your email

  address (you can do even if the suggested format is an e-mail

  address) and use it.  If you change your email, you do not assign your

  eBooks.  However, for the moment, whatever ID you use must match

  the one that you used to download the ebooks.

  I can't tell you exactly what to do with your ereader, but the very idea

  apply.  You must register, and using the same ID that you did for ADE

  greatly simplifies things.

• Help with comparisons between the work units in the base line

  P6v7 running, I have a base calendar to resources and I want to see the work units of base from the current hourly work units. I go to the spreadsheet of the use of resources and discover real work, budgeted and other units, but I don't have the option to display the basic units. I first thought the budgeted units were the base line reading, but it is not true that the planned duration does not match the unit duration of work budgeted for each particular activity or it corresponds to the duration of the current activity. Don't know what the length of buget reads from.
  
  I found that I can use the activity using profile window to display units of basic work compared to the real and remains as a histogram, but not in a spreadsheet format.
  
  Does anyone know how to check the times of the base line in the format of the worksheet?

  I occasionally use resource and activity of histograms with spreadsheets. After reading your question, I decided to change my own setup and launch a scenario similar to what you're asking and got positive results.

  First of all, I guess a few things...
  * You already have a reference assigned to your project database
  * You are viewing the 'use spreadsheet activity' on the bottom of your screen

  First thing to do is to filter your activities within the project,

  * Group and sort * by 'Total' and show subtotals and totals
  Side to the left of the screen... Display ""BL project Labor units * "and" * budgeted Labor units * "columns on the left side of your screen"
  * To the right of the screen... (The custom Spreadsheet fields) displays budgeted Cum Labor units and Cum BL project Labor
  * My time scale is set to days and weeks

  Adjust your timescale to allow all of your data to display. You will thus limit much of your future data on the screen.

  This should display the two hours provided for in the budget and hours of departure within the spreasheet

  I would like to know if it works for you.

  I need help with a form that has multiple pages.  I have some areas I are duplicated in my document.  How I got these fields auto fill throughout the form/paper? For example, I'm going to fname lname, address, telephone, etc... How can I get these fields automatically on the other pages of the form?  Is this possible?  Any suggestions are welcome.

  If it's just a fill operation then make sure the fields have the same name. Then set the binding to the global level and all the fields with the same name will get the same value.

  Hi, Im new JavaScript and have my code works partially, but the trouble with a nested if-then-else statement.
  
  I have a page element, P4_COUNT, and if its value is 0, the button Delete will allow the user to delete the record. If the number is > 0, a message should appear stating that the record cannot be deleted. That's what I have so far and it works, but the first ELSE is misplaced. • Help with buttons to access the loaded layers

  Hi all... Using Flash CS3 and AS3 to build a learning module that loads different layers of SWFs of the buttons on the main screen.  Got this work without problems.  What I want to do is to add buttons to provide learners of features, specifically a next button, the "back" button and a check box that will keep progress automatically.  I did some massive research and so far nothing seems to work.  Seems like I am going so far is the main layer, not the new layers as they are loaded.  Here is what I tried with the back button; the next button uses nextFrame and Handler2.  It does not work.  Not even sure how to start with the check box for advance auto.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

  If you try to get the swf loaded in advance and not the main timeline, you need to target the loader.content, not the root, as in:

  in your library, double-click your button.  Select the image down, and in the properties panel, select your sound and assign its sync to the event.  then drag your animation to your library on the stage.
