  Just bought CS5 design standard package to upgrade my suite of applications to work. This led me InDesign CS3 and Photoshop CS, where unicode Tibetan could not be entered correctly, CS5 where it works wonders, where I never had problems with the Tibetan, InDesign CS5, where I can't seem to do stack properly, little matter what I do.

  
  

  My understanding of how the unicode Tibetan works are his function of ligatures, string permutation of characters for the good stacked version, but surely inDesign CS5 contains not less strong ligature handling than CS3? Perhaps his most complex and there are just options that I need to dig up and enable or disable? Ideas for what I can do to get the Tibetan works correctly in inDesign CS5 would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, I have a feeling that I needed to be able to read Tibetan to understand this 100%. The installer is in Tibetan only, so I'm completely lost. However, he threw a whole bunch of new fonts on my machine, which have 'United' in name and appear at the bottom of my list of fonts with the rest of the standards complex script fonts. All good so far, right? However, they all have the same problem writing on Lao & Thai code points that I pointed out earlier. As I said, this can paralyse your project. This is a hack very well back into the 1990s, and it's a good hack at the beginning of the Decade. However, as I've learned painful several times, if a person led-band complex script support together bypassing of Unicode support gave the application, then this application updates can break the duct tape and cause serious problems when you attempt to update an old document with a new version of the app "even".

  I couldn't read the instructions or the program installation, but at least one of the .msi files asked me to install a new language that I didn't recognize. It has been a time loooooong since that happened to me. He also asked me to install the infamous usp10.dll, which is infamous as if you've been paying attention to these questions in the last decade. (Some bright young Cambodian children once downloaded this DLL, responsible of the character advanced for the Windows subsystem that manages complex scripts, from the site Microsoft VOLT.) They broke open, he rewrote and distributed to all and diverse to allow the Khmer Unicode script almost, just like your Tibetan almost Unicode. If you need fonts from workaround of the 20th century, it seems that you may need to convert the encoding you are using currently to another. Understand what we can do will take a lot of time; I just sent you a PM, let's Exchange e-mail addresses and then we're going to cut through what works and is not in InDesign, and then we can put a summary for people who will find this thread with Google so that they do not have to be pioneers.

  Probably a real simple question to answer, but I am confused.  I'm trying to export a bulletin 6 pages in .pdf format from InDesign CS5; It comes out as a 4-page document in the following sense: the first page is fine (vertical on letter size), the 2nd and 3rd pages appear side by side (horiz. / letter) like pages 4 and 5.  Page 6 is again very well (vertical/letter).  I never had this problem with CS4...  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance, Wharton

  Interactive PDF is exported in is spreading by default, and the only way to change that is through the script. See Interactive PDF from InDesign CS5 has always Spreads on | InDesignSecrets

• interactive PDF using Indesign CS5.5 problem with overlay

  I designed an interactive pdf - not for the web. I have a stratification of problem on a page. On the page, there are 6 buttons. Each key pressed will propose a box containing information and content. When I designed the page using indesign cs5.5, I did so that most information box has been at the top of the layer. I thought this would be the cleanest way to present the page. By having the largest area of content (each of the six boxes of content are different sizes) in the upper part, it would cover the other boxes. When I exported the file to the smallest box was the head, and then the secondest etc. It seems pretty messy.

  Is there a way to make sure that the lagest content area is upstairs when it exported in pdf format?

  You can place a PDF file in an InDesign document, but you cannot modify it. You can make small amounts of editing PDF documents in Acrobat Pro.

  I wonder if your client is thought to an Acrobat form, where users can add data to text boxes and so on.

I use the script below to import, and it works fine. All import fields and records the individual (one for each record) PDF. However, I need to extend this functionality by removing some pages before it saves the document by looking at the different boxes. The code below is what I use to import the records.

  As I said before you import works surprisingly well.

  My PDF consists of 5 pages (info-registration, p1 = Dir-contract = p0, p2 = contract ndarp-brand, p3 = takes-contract, p4 = agreement must be brand). My idea is that on the import of data, the script will look at a few check boxes and determine which contracts to remove on the PDF and then save. I wrote the syntax of which, in my view, what it should look like. I'm not a programmer and know just a little bit. I looked through the documentation and this is what I came with. I don't know how to combine to work. Here's the code I came up with that.

  How to combine these two so that I can create a document temp import my data, check the boxes to check off and delete the appropriate pages and save the file and then go to the next record? I got the first part done. It imports large and has the right, but I don't know what to do next. Thanks for any help!

  Wow. Ok. I had it works beautifully. There was a lot of trial and error. Because the script as it was would have, would open the original PDF, delete the pages needed, then save the file. While it would be to go to the next record is missing pages in PDF and bomb to open. I hunted and searched for a way to do this. I found "this.insertPages" in the documentation. Finally, what worked was so move the "save under" in the service and put it under every variation of check. So now when checking the boxes, he performs the check, removes the mandatory pages, stops, insertions of back in deleted pages from the original file, leave the service and finally goes to the next record.

  Here is my final script:

  Could some kind soul please be proivde a complete example or provide a link to a complete example to listen to and manipulate one even in InDesign with ActionScript extensions? All of the examples I see are for JavaScript and will not work in ActionScript.

  It is the excellent post from Olav on the creation of Panel for InDesign. There are also "id_host_adapter.swc" which is necessary to create event listeners. Import library:

  After the successful importation of library, you can attach event like this:

  I downloaded the free trial version for office 10 - it is now expired and I can't open any word or excel attachments. the default values are all office 2010 and I can't see the Stater of Word or excel starter change or default file associations. Even excel and word files that I created in starter have had their replaced with an orange flash NCIS. I'm so stuck. help please

  I have problems with resizing of tables in InDesign CS5.

  The width can be entered and a decrease, but the right height do move up nor down when you pull in the lower right corner or anywhere else on the base of the columns.

  Does anyone else have this problem?
