  I'm sorry if this is basic, but my brain does not work after hours of playing with it. I want to put in place a fairly simple tab for the ingredients of the recipe - not numbered as, I understand - but the quantities of ingredients that vary according to the width... May 1, could be 1 3/4 can be 14... I want this column of numbers flush right, then a space, then the rest of the ingredient should be flush left with a hanging indent (see the last line of the example). So, it looks like this (from cooks illustrated):

• Help with tab script and auto custom calculation

  I have implemented a two-page order form in Acrobat, based on an InDesign exported to PDF and filled it with the fields for 30 items that can be ordered.  Each item can be ordered has a color, size, quantity, unit price and Total point (the last two are read only) field.  To the point Total, I used "value is the product of Quantity.x, Price.x of the unit") calculation and to calculate the subtotal, "value is the sum of the Total of the order of the day.

  My first problem is that the scope of subtotal does not reflect the exact amount I have label off a quantity field and enter additional data on the order form.  I would like for the date to be included in the subtotal as soon as it is seized.  I read a script custom hits (tab the cursor on the following fields after the form data of types of recipients in an area of the car) which could deal with this problem, but one) I can't find the script and b) which should be formatted custom for a field that must be the number in the format.

• help with tabs, I've reset but does not solve problem when started

  When started the new tab is blank and does not show the previous 9 pages as before. I went to help troubleshooting and then reset Firefox. It works until I closed Firefox well when I start a new session new tabs are white again.

  Hi all

  I am facing a strange problem when using Expression Edit Control with a tab control.

  When I put the Expression of the RichEdit controls on several tabs in a tab control, and when I run the application, the Expression Edit controls in a single tab are visible, others get invisible! I do NOTHING with them, but they do not simply show upward!

  I first faced this problem using Expr editing controls in Visual Studio c#. NET - with tab controls. For verification, I created a simple VI is LabVIEW to see if the problem is with my request / problem with Expression Edit controls in c#, etc. But voila!  A similar behavior in LabVIEW too! 

  I'm doing something wrong? OR do not do something right? Ask someone for help please ASAP!

     • The fastest method is sufficient, since all but the techniques more expensive and equipment will be able to recover data deleted safely.

  The tabs are from the table to the string of worksheet function.  You build a chain of worksheet, complete with tabs and CR.  Just drag a concatenate the strings in his place and it will work.

  I would bag all constants of the tab and the CR.  Build an array of 2D with just the values strings (without tab, no CRs), happening in the array to function SS.

  Do you have MS Outlook installed on your computer?

  Windows mail import and export opportunities are limited to an Outlook .pst file or an Exchange Server mailbox. They are available only if MS Outlook is installed.
  If MS Outlook is not installed and you start an import or export action, the necessary support files are not present for Windows mail complete the operation. Then I suggest you to install Outlook temporarily and see if the problem is resolved.

  Follow the instructions below and check if the problem is resolved.

  1. reboot your computer, and then start Windows Mail.
  2. on the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. in the connection tab, click on edit to open the Internet Properties dialog box.

• Need help with problems of performance with 14 elements

  I scanned the forums and provided below to help with feedback. At this point, the organizer of the elements is unusable for me - I'm looking for suggestions to help refine the installer to make it usable.

  MY SETUP

  • Just more than 50000 items in the catalog, about 95% of them are photos, videos of rest. 98% of the source files are on a drive to the server in my house, with a gigabit connection.
  • I left full recognition of faces (took two days!) and Yes, during that who was running the organizer was unusable.
  • My PC is an i7 - 4790 k with 16 GB of RAM. Windows Pro 10. Boot drive is SSD.

  THE SCENARIO

  I have a new series of images on my C drive local - images that I scanned, about 30 pictures. Using the view of the pane left records that I navigate to the folder on my C drive. If I move to the tab places it takes about 25 seconds to react and make enforcement appear the places page. If I then go to the people tab it takes about 75 seconds, for the application to respond. In both cases, the application is completely insensitive during the wait.

  Clearly, I can't clean my collection with this kind of response. So here are my questions:

  1. What are the key strategies to improve performance, given my configuration?
  2. Have I not too many objects in the catalog? Should I aim lower number? I saw that there is no actual limit but I feel Im beyond a theoretical limit of messages.
  3. Broken content is to catalog help with questions like this? Is there another internal setting, I should be updated or change?
  4. Given the number of images should I use Lightroom instead?

  The only change that I'm not going to do is to move all the content of my return to my local drive. Sound on the server so that it is completely backed up and protected. So I'm looking for ideas that help given this configuration.

  I can't offer a positive solution to your problem, but I hope to give you some answers or thoughts on this subject.

  Let's start with the description of your case: it's a perfect description of what has been reported in several positions:

  -powerful Installer (computer, SSD)

  -l' use of the recognition of people and/or geolocation

  -use of a NAS for the library.

  -Library of more than 50,000 points.

  -very long indexing, then extremely slow.

  I do not use a SSD (will probably later) or a NAS (I never do). I 65 000 objects and don't care about recognition of face or geolocation, which explains that with a basic setup on I3, 8 GB of RAM, I have an organizing extremely fast speed. Even on an old secondary computer with Vista, it is still quite manageable.

  Your choice is typical of advanced specialists and competent (I guess that less than 1% of the current user of items based). I have yet to see no answer (satisfactory or not...) Adobe staff.

  Given the number of images should I use Lightroom instead?

  I guess that's what Adobe could answer you... and that would be wise. You can use a trial version to make your choice and do a search on the forum for Lightroom. I have not seen similar, even if complaints with NASs, it seems to be a lot to say. Lightroom can convert your organizing catalogs (maybe some problems lately...)

  If the use of the network is primarily to ensure maximum security (for not sharing images), why not would you use the choice to store your library on your computer (internal or external disk) with a sync to your NAS as a backup solution? I can tell you that my workflow includes Windows Synctoy to record each session easily and quickly (catalogs and libraries).

  Your very precise description of the case call to assess each factor of different performance individually. Even if the method above is not the final answer, it could shed light on the influence of the use of the network.

  Splitting the catalog is usually a very bad solution, a number of post seems to show that with the recognition of the people/geotagging, the problems around the range of 50,000 points. You can make a copy of the catalog and remove half of the files to check the influence of numbers point; Maybe it's possible with version 14 (deletion is extremely slow, but worked for me, even if it failed with older versions).

• Help with Signature properties

  Hello I'm trying to make some text fields and the group fields as read only once an electronic signature has been placed in the document, then I need to repeat this exercise several times throughout the form.  Once a time incredibly frustrating with technical support suggested that I ask for help.  The Signature Properties box has a drop down list which it indicates you can select certain fields.  For now, all I can do is select / deselect.  Otherwise anyone can help with javascript so I can lock these fields.

  Try using the SPACEBAR to select/deselect individual fields and tab and cursor keys to navigate through the list of fields.

  I have this item and I want to add a background behind him with the clipping mask so that nothing shows up outside of my my object (bible). I went through tutorials and that works, but it never works when using this object. Can anyone watch and help with why it doesn't work.

  I'm still not clear about what you are trying to achieve because there is nothing red in your illustration. But what rcraighead said, I guess that great shape selected in your screenshot is the object that you want to use as your mask and that you want to fill with red and you want to be able to see through the mask to the illustration of the book...

  You'll need duplicate large form and make sure that it is on top of all your other items. Follow the instructions in rcrighead. If you do not want the shadow to be filled with red, do not reproduce them; just put on top.
