Hex colors are not
I'm not sure what I did, but my colors are not correct. I'm trying to use HEX for Clemson Tiger orange. I copied the value of the # and pasted into Photoshop (something I do all the time). I had a red.
Here's what it should be:
No indication as to what I did to make a difference. Help!
Hexadecimal numbers are not managed somehow to color. The number can mean anything depending on the context. The same number hexadecimal, represented in different color spaces, result in very different colors.
In these days of modern color management there is no good reason to worry about arbitrary hexadecimal values. It's obsolete way. Get used to working with the RGB values in the color spaces defined instead, which is predictable and absolute.
Before color management, the only reasonable thing near a colorspace of "reference" is an average CRT monitor. Then, hexadecimal numbers makes sense. But not now.
A few months ago appeared a strange problem with my laptop screen as you can see in this video made by me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjpsXNB6prc
I tried to tilt the cover but without results. Sometimes it comes back normal picture all of a sudden. If I close the lid when I stopped the laptop, when the next market problem appears.
With the help of Corel, I noticed that the RGB colors are not displayed correctly. I connected the laptop to a VGA monitor and the image was normal.
I would like to know what the problem is so that I am able to fix it myself.
It of great that you've made a video of your problem, most other users don t do that, but it makes history. :)
In any case, it is really hard to say what part is causing this problem. Either it's internal display itself or graphics card. Easiest way to check this is connect an external monitor and check what is happening.
So if it was a normal external VGA monitor image it seems to be the graphics card. This means that the motherboard must be replaced and this can be done from an authorized service provider. Then get in touch with the guy and ask for help.
My camera is a Nikon D810, I Lightroom 6.6 (Windows 10).
Whenever I import my new photos in Lightroom, they look good in the library. As soon as I click on to develop the change of my picture, the colors are not and pictures are too dark. The color on my camera temperature is 5561 K, but in Lightroom, it is suddenly 5950 K, although the World Bank said as a shot. Procesversion 2012, the profile is Adobe Standard.
I have reinstalled Lightroom, cleaned all my settings. I don't know what the problem, if I did something wrong, if are lot of parameters. Who can help me?
Color-temperature numbers depend on the profile of the camera, which there are several, so if they are a bit out there is nothing to worry about. What is more important than the number is so neutral are always neutral or not.
If your photos are displayed dark then it is probably because you have active D-Lighting or something similar is activated in your camera where you pull deliberately dark then illuminates the shadows digitally before creating the Nikon-made in JPG or built-in preview.
Turn off all special modes that LR has just begun with the raw data from the sensor and knows nothing of these other modes of Nikon that apply ONLY to treatment of Nikon that takes place behind closed doors or in the Nikon software, not the Adobe software.
When I user Quick Export in PNG in Photoshop CC 2015, the colors are not the same as when I export using save for Web (Legacy).
Save for web (legacy)
Any ideas why this happens?
Windows user 7. I can provide more information if I know what you need to know.
The new export module has no management colors and a whole bunch of other essential functions.
It is a work in progress, and I have no idea why they were in such a rush to ship it. Use save for Web.
That said, it seems as if the original is ProPhoto - if it comes to the web, you must convert to sRGB. There should not be this much of a difference.
We care about trying to use our M630z to make copies of our our magazine through the Save to the network... option scans Save fine... but the colors are SO out of being specific and we cannot find anywhere to adjust the tones of colors... our portable MX922 of Canon we paid<$200 for="" has="" near="" perfect="" color="" as="" the="" original="" without="" doing="" anything..="" yet="" the="" m630z="" has="" major="" issues="" ..="" see="" attachments..="" any="" help="" would="" be="">$200>
As you can see in the attachment pdf yellow bacvkground is far away between the original and the analysis of the sample... We have close to exact on our archives, magazines... Thank you
Try Page 86 of the M630Z User Guide:
on the settings of the monitor in the color tab, I can see that the numerical value of the green color is 0 if im not able to adapt to it. the red and blue are ok their numeric values are 255 so everything seems to have a reddish tone
The problem may be related to your monitor. This wouldn't have anything to do with your settings in Windows. You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to help you solve this problem. This may also be related to a faulty monitor. Your best point of contact for this problem would be to contact the manufacturer of your computer.

Photos have been excellent until yesterday. I installed new ink cartridges and the diagnostic print quality was OK. But when I print the photos, the colors blend together and there are empty spaces in several parts of the image. Alignment is correct but the message said: it is not properly aligned.
Would appreciate your help...

Hello John Eff,.
Thanks for your post. You happen to have another monitor to test with? If so, plug another monitor and see if you get the same result. In this way, we eliminate or isolate the monitor as the problem.
See you soon
So, I filed a clip in speedgrade and exported from Premiere Pro.
Strangely when I play the video with vlc it does not show the colors I had in Premiere Pro.
Now, when I import this clip in AE it seems identical to SpeedGrade and Premiere Pro.
After have exported them sequelae with and without the color profile converter efffect set to sRGB, as well as with and without the workspace defined as srgb, they all look the same, off the coast of color
Did I miss a step?
VLC is up to date?
Hello, I have a big problem...
I have a book composed of about 120 documents Indesign InDesign.
My question: did you know that a script that can delete the unused nuances in all the documents making up a book rather than document by document (120 documents) by the color chart menu.
Not a requirement that I met earlier, but it seems too hard.
for (var i = 0; i)
var currentDoc = app.open (app.books  .bookContents [i] .fullName, true);
for (var j = currentDoc.unusedSwatches.length; j > 0; j-)
currentDoc.unusedSwatches [j - 1] .remove ();
This script assumes that you have your one (and only one!) Book to the screen. It opens all documents in a book, removes the nuances and it closes.
There has always been disagreements about what makes a "unused" shade, and I guess that it works the same as it does in the UI - it removes what is possible and leave the rest.
There is no apparent way to upload the screenshot I did not. Not a very intuitive site.
Continue in your old thread and fix the image here.
- If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How to make a screenshot of my problem?
Once you have done so, attach the file to screen shot saved to your post on the forum by clicking on the button Browse... under the box to post your reply . This will help us to visualize the problem (on the wire, linked above).
The foregoing summarizes. Guests for action was now small boxes with a number and a letter of the alphabet. I used the "empty the cache" and solutions "allow pages to use their own police." neither one worked. This figure includes re-start after that I tried the solution.
You have the problem where rectangles appear with two rows of two characters in them? This can happen when Firefox cannot display a custom font to view icons.
Could check you if you allow sites to use their own fonts?

I have a problem, I hope you can help me with. When I opened the pictures on photoshop or lightroom, they seem good.
I don't know what to do

Using Adobe Creative Cloud... When you import an .ai file in Photoshop, colors are not important in exactly... particularly gray.
Source .ai file is in RGB color space. Problem persists without worrying so important in sRBG or RGB color in Photoshop...
The example below is only the shades of gray, but the file is RGB color... for some reason, don't seem to have this problem with other tones of colors, just grey in color space.
After the attachment is a screenshot since Illustrator > >
After fixing, that's what it looks like an imported/rasterized in Photoshop > >
What happens here? Clearly these gray are not translated correctly, and again, it should be the same hex code.
I had this problem for over a year with various designs... If it was a temporary problem with some version of the Adobe Creative Cloud, I guess it would have been fixed now
What the OP wrong, is define the nuances as a value of K, that is in grayscale.
Turns on AI does not manage to properly color to grayscale, where shifting gray values when you go to Photoshop, what color is manage grayscale. RGB and CMYK, both work fine.
Basically, that's all.
So this is a problem of Illustrator; not a problem in Photoshop. Maybe the team thought the color management was unnecessary with shades of gray, since there is no color in it...
My HP 3310 printer gave me great prints for many years, but during the last 12 months, 210 x 297 mm prints threw a desaturated look and brightness has dulled as well. My photos 10 x 15 cm print perfectly.
I did all the recommended suggestions, cleaning of the print head, aligning the printer even restore to factory default to no effect.
I use Spyder Pro 5 to ensure that I have the exact colors on my screen.
I printed via the printer settings and also the settings of Photoshop.
At the present time, all my photos contest must be overexposed and strongly saturated for previously appreciated results.
I only use HP photo papers and real HP363 inks.
I hope someone can put an end to my frustration.
