  I want to capture the string in array of 22 bytes to write VISA to an instrument of control. I want each byte in not more than 8 bits and bytes in the table are the binary 8 bits of some decimal binary conversion. for example. Machining time is 180 000 milliseconds that converts binary in 3 sets of 8 bytes. I want to do 3 bits separate (high, medium and low), out of it. Conversion of the maximum value I get is 8 bits, which is 255. How to divide numbers greater than 255 to separate bytes of 8 bits for a single decimal value?

  Well, if you have 24 bits, you must go up to the next larger data type.  In this case, it would be a U32.  You can use the slot number, then build a table to make sure that the bytes go where you want to.  This is assuming you are using LabVIEW.

  I want to use a joystick (11button, 3-axis) to operate the 2 steps in microscope of PI in tandem. I think the best solution to this problem:

  the buttons of the gamepad provide engaged Boolean: they are true only while the button is kept pressed. Once the button is released, the Boolean value becomes false.

  I want to take this rocker and produce a Boolean value true the first time the button is pressed and change this boolean a false when the button is pressed subsequently.

  My current idea is to try to build something with a case or reporting structure, or even something like a Boolean value for whole conversion then division modulo-2.

  Yes you can. Just hold your finger on the intended message deleted about 3 seconds, you will see a menu of options open to your right screen with an icon of the trash downstairs.

  This deletes only the selected message and not the entire conversation.

  I just bought my LaserJet M477 a week ago, and I've noticed a few problems print quality:

  • When I print text documents, some lines incorrect impression of italic characters, while the text is not italicized in the source document.  The problem is not random - I can print the same page twice, and it is implemented in italics in the same places.
  • When I print graphics, long straight lines parallel to the direction of the paper path have regular aberrations, light showers in them.  The problem seems to occur at intervals down the page (as if there could be an irregularity in a circular or cylindrical part inside).  I am even noticing the problem when I print the test page "setting of alignment".  In comparison, all the lines that are perpendicular to the paper path are sharp and straight.

  Another post on this site suggested a "reset power" to solve a similar problem with the italics, but this does not solve the problem for me.

  I've also updated the firmware and drivers and installed/reinstalled the printer, each nothing helps.

  The question of italics seems like it might be a software problem, but I fear that the problem of vertical wavy lines might be a mechanical problem.

  Could someone suggest solutions?

  I chatted with HP online tech support yesterday, share everything we have discussed here and they concluded that there is a hardware problem with the printer.  They recommended I have share the printer to my point of sale to another unit.  Fortunately, I'm still within 14 days of the back window.  HP has also instructed to give me my case ID to the retailer, probably as license to HP for them to accept the return unit and perhaps to help diagnose the unit once the logistics team sent back to HP.

  BTW, HP examined our whole conversation here thread, and the thought of a problem with the Starter toner cartridges never came.

  You can continue a similar conversation with the HP technical support.  I'd hate to see that you stuck with a defective printer.

  I was looking through the screw FPGA Butterworth filter Express and stumbled on this code (after conversion the Express VI into a Subvi and then by opening the front panel):

  

  What is happening with the conversion to decimal fixed values that look like they must be integers (in the red boxes)? Why these conversions would be useful?

  Here is the micro-optimisations to help the synthesis tools to minimize the number of bits used in these code paths. The iteration Terminal is 32 bits wide and also involves a logic to do in the face of what is happening when the maximum value is reached. We have seen some benefits from the reduction of this path to the minimum width required both that which is written. I think it is probably still the case since the compiler usually does not know how many times a given line will run with a dynamic stop like this condition.

  The optimization of the meter width is similar, taking advantage of the fact that we know that we have limited storage space to use circular buffers power-of-2 size. Using the exact number of bits of the address allows us to implement a counter of reversal with no additional logic. otherwise, we would need to check the value, and add a mux (Select) to reset the counter when it reaches the maximum value.

  Synthesis tools usually do a good job of optimizing the unused bits, but here are two cases where we can help them by being more explicit about what we really need.
