Hello
Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

First, make sure the taskbar don't are not "locked"...
Right-click on an open space of the taskbar > make sure there is no checkmark at "lock the taskbar".Now, make a left click inside of a space open to the taskbar and HOLD > drag the slider down until he goes back down > drop PREY > lock the taskbar. I have a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5305 application, running Windows 7. I made a few cds of music there are chandeliers and that they will not play on this computer. They do not play on my computer of husbands, good girls. I think that they are MP3. My cd drive is appearing and showing to work properly, but just read it as a blank CD. To go with this... I am a legal transcriptionist and use a program called FTR player. I downloaded some MP3 audio files and who won't play in my FTR player either, so I think it has something to do with. MP3 files, in the form of .wav files play in my FTR player very well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Jodi
Red flag. CCcleaner. If you used to "clean" your registry database, which can cause problems. CCcleaner is also a good program, but registry cleaners do not help and remove what they think are "unused" entries in the registry that can cause problems later.
Try to download the Real Player and see if that corrects your problem, but if it is not, you may need to restore your computer to the factory settings by your user guide's instructions.
When you got your system back as you, I invite you to buy an external hard drive, and a good backup 3rd party program. You can configure it to automatically do everything in time and frequency of your choice. External hard drives 1 TB are about $85 these days and a very good FREE backup program corresponds to the Easeus todo backup free of charge that you can download from
http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm . Who can make you save a lot of time and frustration, the next time something like this happens. Sooner or later, it happens to all computers for one reason or another.
Good luck.

How fix us this?
Thank you...
All the best...

If you have activated the preferences-> Security-> FileVault system, then you must enter your password initially so that device drivers can decrypt your encrypted drive. Once the system is running, you must then log into your account.
They are really 2 separate activities that happen just to use the same password.

A few days ago I pressed the space bar to wake up my (HP pavilion m8100n) office, and I met several things at once:1. the icon of the internet was just two monitors blinks back2. a box pops up saying "an audio input jack has been disconnected" (when NO such thing has happened!) and now I have no sound and just an "x"symbol next to the symbol of volume." I tried connect headphones, still no sound at all.3. my wireless mouse works most completely (again, I don't have anything) I had to use my Intuos3 Tablet mouse click autour. Then I restarted the computer, unplugged and replugged the usb for wireless mouse thing, solved #3.
#2 is still pending.#1 takes a strange turn. The computer more remained in mode 'sleep', even if I told him to go to mode 'sleep', and every time he woke up upward, I had no internet (just two monitors flashing back and forth.)I went to the Device Manager and unchecked the box that allows the computer to disable internet to save energy, at least now when it comes out of sleep, he maintains the internet. The computer also doesn't stop- every now and again, he normally stops when I said to, but more often now I have to force it to close hold the button down. The question of the internet has gotten worse. While we had a few problems because of the company's Internet, we called and it is resolved.I know the router is not the problem because that all computer laptop in the House can connect to him easily. My computer always had problems with wireless cards, is also connected to the router via e-thernet.The only way I can work around the issue now is to stop (be it by asking the computer to stop or forcing), from, he and hope I get internet. If I don't have internet and instead just get the flashing monitors symbol, I tried to tell the computer to restart, but this does not resolve the issue. When it restarts, there not even internet.I still close, wait and start again, and * hope * I have internet. When I have no internet, and I'm trying to diagnose and repair, it always ends up by saying "Windows cannot solve this problem."When I click on network and sharing Center, he says that I'm connected to a 'network unidentified' - which is meaningless, because when the internet works, it says that I'm connected to the private network of our House.I tried Googling autour, but I really can't find someone else who has the problem as well as the problem of the e-thernet restart/stop.Any help with this would be massively appreciated, I do commissions online my source of income and I need this computer to work, because it's my graphic computer.(I've included all this other info in case it helped to identify the problem.)All my ports usb does not as well, I found this http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/usb-device-not-recognized/ and it seems to have fixed everything! Even the problem of noise!
Sorry to have wasted your time, thank you for the quick response, however. -

I have sandisk cruzer blade USB key
Hi Rohit,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum. I understand that your USB drive is having problems of compatibility with your computer, but I would like to learn more about the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.
- You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
- When do you get exactly the error message?
- Have you tried to connect to any other computer on this flash drives?
- Your USB key works on other computers or have you tried to connect to different USB ports on this computer?
- Is the pen drive getting detected in the case or you are able to access the drive folder in the window of the computer ?
The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged, or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.
Method 1:
Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.
- Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows
- Diagnose and automatically fix the Windows USB problems
If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.
Method 2:
Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.
- Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
- In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
- Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
- Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.
If the problem persists, go to method 3.
Method 3:
This method will install the latest drivers from device to your USB device.
- Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
- Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
- Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
- If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
- If you are prompted, restart your computer.
More information: Update a hardware driver that is not working properly
Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

I would like to know why I have so few restore points (7) when I got the computer for many months. My last restore point was on 07/02/13 and have a total of 3 automatic restore Points. With my previous version of Windows XP, I used to get a calendar that shows the many restore points for the month, and at least one System Restore Point otherwise every day at all the two days. I don't know what the problem is or how to fix. I have 10% of my hard drive allocated to the restoration of the system, and I am running Windows 7 Home Preium Version.
