  I see that you are unable to make and receive calls on Verizon LTE for international travel.

  Use calls using voice over LTE (VoLTE) and make sure that voice over LTE (VoLTE) is enabled on your iPhone, in particular, this section:

  Turn on the VoLTE

  Some carriers activate this feature by default. To find out if VoLTE is enabled, go to settings > cell phones > turn on LTE. If the voice and data is off, tap it. It depends on the VoLTE.

  Without getting too deep into the bands etc, the short answer is AT & T and T-Mobile should work blued. About Verizon you are out of luck, they have GSM but it is for use outside the country, only so that they can offer the service worldwide, but the system is designed to let him not being here at home where CDMA is used.

  Actually it's pretty easy, just put a T-Mobile sim in the phone and give it a try. Of course you must have service from T-Mobile to have a sim card. Or if you know somebody on T-Mobile, just borrow their sim if it is the same size and give it a try. I'd be willing to bet you could also stop by a TMO store and they let you try it.

  I recently bought the new iPhone 7 more.  Not only am I having problems with the LTE service, bounce back between 3 G and no service I am now having problems with call connectivity.  When you try to make an outgoing call, I get an automatic response from my carrier (Verizon) "it's Verizon, we are unable to complete your call at this time, please turn off your phone and back and try again."

  It is a known issue with the iPhone 7 and Verizon. Supposed to be Apple and Verizon are seeking him. It has been a problem since the phone was released.
